Chapter 156 Not So Cheap (Part One)_1

Shu Yimo, draped in a deep blue robe with her half-dried long hair flowing loose, stepped out of the bedroom and faintly heard music coming from the study across the hall. She walked over to investigate.

Just as she reached the doorway, she heard a soothing baritone singing; Shu Yimo carefully pushed the door ajar and peered inside. After scanning the room, she spotted a man lounging in the rattan chair beneath the bookshelf, a half-smoked cigarette between his fingers, leisurely puffing smoke.

Shu Yimo stepped forward and, taking the initiative, poured him a glass of water and handed it to him before sitting down beside him.
