Chapter 31. Hiatus

"My name is Ray Morningstar. Nice to meet you, Nami"

Ray introduced himself with a small smile on his face while moving his right hand in front of her for a handshake.

With a mild blush on her face, she shook his hand while speaking in a timid voice.

"Nice to meet you as well, Ray. I have heard so much about you from those three"

Ray chuckled in amusement as he could guess the things that they might have told her about him. He shook his head a little while pulling his hand back slowly though he noticed a slight resistance from the other party.

He looked at her face with a teasing smile though he noticed her lost look. Placing his left hand in front of her face, he snapped his fingers causing her to come back into reality with a shocked expression. Though it quickly changed when she saw his teasing smile which caused her to chuckle nervously

Suddenly she took a deep breath before she bowed in front of him while her eyes were closed. With a stammering tone, she spoke with a happy tone.

"Thank you, Ray, for everything you did for my village"

Ray immediately put his hands on her shoulders to calm her down while lifting her upper body so she could face him. He noticed some tears in her eyes while her eyes were still closed. 'Nojiko would be very sad if she saw her sister in this miserable condition.'

With his thumbs, he cleaned the tears from her eyes while he spoke in a soothing tone.

"Everything is all right now so you should not cry anymore."

She nodded at him meekly while running her eyes hurriedly to get rid of tears even though there were none. Ray had already pulled his hands back so she would not feel embarrassed at his sudden movements.

After clearing her eyes, a big smile appeared on her face before she spoke to him with an excited tone.

"You must have seen a lot of places right? So tell me about it"

Ray chuckled at her sudden enthusiasm some he knew about her dream. 'She must have thought that I have visited many places even though I didn't even go to a new place. Maybe Nojiko didn't tell her?' Still, he smiled at her before he spoke in a calm tone.

"Of course"

And like this, they both started to chat with each other while laughing occasionally. Nami kept asking him different things while he answered them with a small smile on his face. From time to time, he kept looking at the exit door of the throne room with a smirk on his face though he hid it from her.

After some more time of talking to her, he decided to take everyone to the bathroom so they could clean themselves. After all, they didn't bathe when they were in the dungeon.

With slow movements, he started to walk towards the exit gate while Nami followed behind him without saying anything. Ray had a smile on his face while he was looking at the door with an intense gaze.

The moment they reached the door, Nami raised her eyebrows before she opened the door to look sideways though she didn't find anyone.

"They have already left the place, Nami"

Ray spoke in a calm tone while walking in the right direction of his which leads to the garden. Nami looked at his back for a second before she followed him. 'My wives are trying to sneak on me. How amusing'

After some time of the walk, they finally reached the kitchen room where everyone was sitting while talking to each other. Though he could see the nervous expression on their faces.

"Before you eat, Go take a bath first"

Ray spoke in a strict tone though he had a smile on his face. Nami was also looking at them with visible confusion on her face.

"Okay, darling"

Hancock spoke smiling while walking towards him slowly, the others followed her as well.

"You should all take a bath together though I would be taking Kaya with me"

Ray spoke in a calm tone while glancing at Kaya who was now showing a big smile.

Even though the others were sad regarding this however they didn't say anything instead they took Nami hand before walking towards the bathroom.

"Let's go, Kaya"

Ray spoke with a smile on his face while taking her hand in his. She nodded at him before leaning on his arm.

After some small chat, they finally reached the room. They didn't stay in the room instead they directly went into the bathroom while removing each other clothes.

"Kaya, I have a present for you"

Ray spoke to her with a smile on his face while rubbing her back tenderly. She immediately turned her head towards him with an excited expression on her face.

"Show me"

She yelled with an excited smile on her face causing him to chuckle. He raised his hand in the air before a white energy ball was formed on his palm.

Kaya looked at the ball with an excited expression. Ray rotated the ball for some time before he asked her.

"This thing would grant you power over gravity. Are you willing to accept it?"

She looked at the ball for some time before she nodded at him with a serious expression. He smiled at her response before he pushed the ball inside her body without hurting her in any way.

She closed her eyes for some time when suddenly the water around them started to float slowly. With an excited smile, she opened her eyes while giggling at the things that she was doing.

"It's very amazing"

She spoke in an excited tone while looking at him. He didn't say anything instead he lifted her body before placing her on his lap.

With his mouth near her ear, he bit the earlobe before he spoke in a rough tone.

"I can show you something more amazing than this"

With lustful eyes, she nodded at him while rubbing her ass on his crotch causing him to groan in pleasure.
