"Alpha there some suspicious moments in north border. We are suspecting rouge are reason behind it but so far nothing serious happens" Said the leader of warriors Lance.

Dominique rubbed his Eyes to sooth his growing headache and said, "Tomorrow Take some well-trained warriors to check the border and be in group of 3 or 4 in case there more than one. Increase patrolling around the pack and assign some new patrolling guards. You may go now"

"Yes sir" Lance said before departing.

Adrian, his beta observed him before asking "Dominique don't you think you need to go see pack doctor before it gets anything serious"

Adrian is Dominique Beta and childhood friend. He is 2 year older than Dominique. Adrian is Royal Himself. He is Dominique Cousin from his Mother side. He is youngest in 3 brothers. Even if he was a prince himself no one knows why he choose to become Royal Beta. He took over Royal Beta roll after defeating former beta in "Challenge the ruler" event. "Challenge the Ruler" is once a year event where people from any race or kingdom can challenge Royal King, Royal Beta and other Royal ranks to take over their place. Dominique become Royal King after defeating his father in challenge.

"And said what? I am feeling dizzy time to time before vomiting the gut out of me?" He said sarcastically.

Adrian sign and said, "Maybe they will know what causing this. You could be poisoned like last time"

Dominique growled and glared at him, "You know it if it's poison, we will know because my freaking hair will turn purple to show I have poison in my system"

"What if it not detectable or what if it some sort of poison with magic? How can they will help you if you are not going to tell them?" Adrian said annoyingly.

For past few days Dominique Keep feeling Dizzy and throwing everything he eaten. He didn't tell this to anyone so far only Adrian know because he saw him in this state by chance.

"We not going to tell this to anyone Adrian. I don't want to cause more stress than I am already feeling. If rumors to spread about me being poisoned. Council will chew me out about having mate then producing an heir so even if something happens to me. Thrown will have a legit heir which I am not ready for and you know it"

Adrian knows for some reason Dominique hated the very Idea of him getting a Mate.

Adrian sign shaking his head "Then what? wait for you to die to see if you really poisoned or under spell"

"Let just drop it. I am not poisoned; I can assure you that" Dominique tried to reassure his worrying friend.

"I am king Adrian and hardly anyone tried to poison kings. They know we are immune to them and for magic I haven't met any witch or warlord in while.", Dominique tried again.

A sudden knock came from door.

"Come in" Dominique said.

"Hey Baby, what brings you both here" Adrian said to his Mate Erick kissing him before taking 6-month-old Keith, his son.

Erick Curtis is Adrian mate, Dominique childhood friend and Council Member Evan Curtis Son. Even if Erick and Dominique are childhood friends, they usually end up arguing.

"Keith, missed you, he won't stop crying so we are here. Hello Alpha! How is your day? You look like hell" Erick said eyeing him.

Erick prefer to call Dominique Alpha than Royal King after all Dominique is Alpha of their Pack.

"Good so far, thank for reminding me" He said sarcastically.

"You know your symptom's seem like pregnancy symptoms. Are you by any chance pregnant" he asked innocently blinking his eyes?

Adrian and Dominique Almost choked on their spit.

"Wtf Erick! Do you think I am woman or omega?" Dominique roared glaring at him.

They don't get along because of their sharp tongue. Even if Dominique usually stay emotionless Erick have talent in crawling under his skin since childhood.

"Dominique Dominique, do i look like woman and omega to you? for god sake i am beta but here i am with Keith. aren't i? I just said what it seems. Adrian baby don't you remember these symptom's from somewhere?" Erick said glaring at him.

Erick put Adrian on tight spot. Dominique seem ready to chew anyone right now.

"umm", Adrian tried only to meet with Dominique and Erick's glaring eyes.

"Ha-ha, Baby are you trying to get us killed. Dominique calm down, but what Erick said is not wrong too as those were some of symptoms of being pregnant which.... he hurriedly said and continued after a pause.

"you are not we get it but we still need to figure out why you having random headache and vomiting yourself to death"

Dominique sign, "Look! I know you worried but I don't think I am poisoned nor i am in contact with any sort of magic. it could be I am simply under weather"

Erick and Adrian both signs too. They know it useless to argue with him.

"Ok, then we will see for few days. We have meeting with higher council tomorrow. For now, I need to put Keith to sleep. You call it night too for today and try to get some rest" Adrian says before he exists with Erick.

Dominique signed once again before he opened some files and start working on them. Being a king of werewolf's is not easy and Dominique started to feel he is weakening day by day without his mate but he still doesn't want his mate.

Adrian put Keith to his crib, lightly pecking him in hair before existing to his room connected to Keith.

"Do you think Dominique will be alright?" Erick asked him.

Even if both don't get along, they still are childhood friends. They care about each on their own way. Adrian knows this, that's why he doesn't usually meddle with their bickering.

"I don't know, he is getting weak day by day without his mate. If he stays stubborn, he going to get killed himself someday. If something were happened to him, we all know the consequences", Adrian said annoyingly.

Erick rolled his eyes and said, "He is annoying jerk even after being a king"

Adrian smiled after hearing him, "You going to be killed if anyone heard you disrespect the King"

"Well, it's not like I said anything wrong. Let's sleep I am tired after playing with Keith all day long. Your son is born with your possessiveness. He won't leave me alone" Erick pouted.

"I need to spank him for trying to take my place" Adrian said seriously while hugging Erick.

"As if you could do it" Erick said looking at him.

"For now, he is safe because he is baby but you are mine" Adrian said as his eyes turned golden indicating his wolf on surface.

Even if both are beta's, Adrian Still possessive of Erick. Generally, Beta's are not much possessive by nature but Adrian possess possessiveness as much as an alpha can hold and Adrian is the reason they both are mates because usually Beta's not born with pair's like Alpha, omega but Erick was claimed even before he turn his coming of age to choose a mate. No one knows how Adrian can claim a Beta himself being a Beta.

"I am yours, don't worry" Said Erick before kissing him to calm down.
