Day of Banquet ...

Dominique was being dressed by his attendant's. Usually he dresses himself even if he has personal attendant to dress him up but on special occasions like today, he let his attendant's do the work for once because these types of occasions have special dress code for Royal king family.

Adrian was sitting on sofa reading a book.

"Why are you here?" Dominique said looking at him.

At first Adrian said nothing then sigh and said, "Your family and council members are afraid you will run away if chance given that's why I am supposed to babysit you"

"If I was a little younger may be, I would have done that but now I am a King and a King never run away from his problems" Dominique said calmly.

"A King don't run away from his Mate too" Adrian said shrugging.

"It's not like I am running away, I am just not looking for her" Dominique replied after a pause.

"But now you can't even look for her if she will not be in Banquet" Adrian said Shrugging.

Dominique didn't reply back and let his attendant's dress him up.

"Royal King Dominique, it's time for you to appear in Banquet" A servant bowed in front of his door and inform him.

"We are coming. You can go" Dominique replied.

"My heart is pounding so hard as if i am about to become a sacrifice instead of you" Adrian said touching his heart.

"What worse could happen than a mate not appearing?" Dominique said while moving towards Banquet Hall.

When Dominique appear in Banquet Hall everyone bowed and greeted him. Actual Banquet start after Royal King give his small welcome speech to everyone.

"Thank you, please accept my humble greeting to everyone who came here from far places. We are happy to have you all here this year too and assist those who will find their mates today. It's a small attempt from our side to help those who can't meet each other in normal circumstances and we are happy if we are little useful to our people. Please Enjoy your Evening"

Dominique Return to his mother and father side and greeted them.

"Did you able to smell your mate?" His father asks him.

"No father" Dominique replied in short.

Dominique was feeling restless for a while as if something was going to happen but he didn't say anything to them. He shrugs it off as if it's nothing but his condition acting up again.

"Royal King Dominique, won't you give us a chance to have a dance with us"

A princess asked Dominique to dance with her shyly. At Banquet anyone can ask Dominique to dance with them and he can't refuse. He holds her hand to move toward hall for dance. After dancing with her and some other people for a while when Dominique about to return to his throne, Princess Clover ask him for a dance extending her hand for Dominique to hold. Dominique accepted her without much thought. For him, whoever with he dances it doesn't mean anything. They are just another one of them. You could say he is quite a rude individual to whom people not mean much. They are just his subject he rules over. He neither treat them as a tyrant king nor he is greedy to rule over them but he lacks empathy to connect with them on personal level. He always found an unbreakable invisible wall around him which won't let him mingle with them. When he tried to do this before to evolve himself as King, it makes him feel suffocated as if something squeezing his heart forcefully and it hard to bear for him. After those suffocating time he stops trying to make contact with people.

Princess Ira was busy stuffing her mouth with food when she saw Princess Clover and Royal King Dominique dance. She almost choked on her food. Her father King James and Queen Marylyn was so happy watching Clover dance with Dominique.

"Royal King!" Clover called out to him shyly.

"Hmm..." Dominique said in low voice.

"Did you find your mate or smell her?" she enquires.

"No, we haven't"

"If you don't find her then what qualities are you looking in your mate" She ask again.

"We are not sure"

Dominique headache was increasing slowly because of loud music. Suddenly he was not feeling good even more than before. Clover was saying something but he can't seem to hear her properly. Everything seems like moving and thing are getting blurry in front of his eyes. He has experienced these symptoms before too. He tried to shake off those symptoms. He didn't want to lose consciousness and cause chaos in Banquet. He doesn't want to reveal his problem to people and be cause of panic. A sick King can cause a lot of conflict in his world. A Royal King is a invisible Seal of Peace between Kingdom's. Without him, It can cause war among Kingdoms who tried to take over each other.

"King Dominique, won't you take me as your mate" Clover whispered slowly to his ear after tiptoeing on her feet. For a giant like him at 6'4 and princess Clover at 5'8, even if she is not short but she is quite short compare to him.

Dominique mental barrier is weakened at the moment. He can't seem to think properly. He staggers a little in dim lighting of ballroom dropping on Clover shoulder. Clover is a siren. A siren is known to seduce people through her voice and at the moment she using her voice to manipulate him on choosing her as mate. Clover was confident in her voice that she can manipulate him and that's why even Queen Marylyn was sure they will succeed this time.

"MATE" Dominique Growl lifting his head from her shoulder with one eye red and another purple lowly looking at her. Different eye color looking freaky but at the same time they enhance Dominique mysterious cold aura. It making him even more attractive than he already is. Red-purple eyes are indicating his Wolf is partly in control along with Dominique.

Whole Crowd around them become quiet from his not so loud growl. Even if he growls in low voice but many magical races are sensitive to voice. They heard him as clear as any can hear someone yelling on their ear with mic. Clover was shocked too at first when she heard his growl but when proceed what he said she was ready to cheers about being called out his mate. It was her longtime dream to be his queen. She was so happy that she succeeded in seducing him. she can finally be his queen but her happiness didn't last long when Dominique suddenly throw her aside and run out of Hall. People are shocked watching Dominique dashed out of Hall and move towards door.

"What was that?"

"What happened?"

"Why Royal King run off?"

"Did you saw Royal King eyes?"

"They look scary"

"His wolf was in control"

"He lost control"

"He was so attractive"

"Handsome"

"Did he say Mate?"

"Royal King found his mate?"

Numerous Murmurs of people can be heard around hall.

"Adrian go with him, what happened? he suddenly dashed out?" Queen Anna said worriedly. Since they are far from Dominique, they didn't hear him called out Mate.

"Yes, your highness"

Adrian run after Dominique too. Dominique was running towards his garden madly as if he was possessed and can't see anything else in path and suddenly, he stops running. Adrian stops not far from him too.

"Mate" Dominique growl loudly looking at the person's back towards him.

Adrian eyes almost popped out when he heard Dominique.

"F*ck, he found her" Adrian whispered to himself. He was sure if Dominique saw him now, he will rip him off to shred when his Wolf is on surface too. Dominique never liked when his thing was shared or looked at and he knows Dominique wouldn't want his presence at this moment in any way. He retreat back after checking out the surrounding to make sure no threat was around Dominique or his mate.

"Mate"

Dominique heard back and the person turn toward him. Dominique breath hitch on his throat. He stop breathing for a moment. She is breath taking. He has never seen anyone this beautiful in his life. He doubts he has found anyone attractive or beautiful till this date. He smelled the intoxicated smell which was only meant for him. It was so strong that it making him dizzy.

"We found our mate" Tylor Jumped up and down in his head. He was going crazy inside his head scratching him all over trying to take over completely. She moves toward him.

"I was waiting for this day for years my King, we finally met" She said looking him in eyes.

Dominique keep staring at her without blinking as if she will be disappeared at any moment. He stood awkwardly without doing anything. Since Dominique was not used to showing much emotion, he was not sure what to do? what to say? Even if the smell making him feel like losing control, he is pretty much in his own control. He has always thought when he will see his mate may be, he will lose control because he will meet her after so long. Even his wolf started to become restless as year goes by but when she finally is in front of them, he is quite calm than Tylor who is going crazy to mate with his mate as soon as possible. After all Tylor is an animal who bound by his Primitive Instinct. He ignored Tylor cries to let him loose.

"I am sorry our eyes look weird at the moment; we can't stop him from being on surface" Dominique said trying to calm himself and regain full control.

"They are not weird but beautiful as many have said to us before" She replied.

A chilling silent once again take over. Both stood awkwardly in front of each other.

"My King, don't you want me?" His mate asks looking depressed when she saw Dominique standing still like a statue. At first Dominique didn't say anything because he didn't know what he is feeling at the moment but he let it slide.

"No, we just speechless after finally finding our mate after so many years" Dominique replied truthfully.

"Will you let us hug you? I have waited for this moment for years, to get my mate and i have finally able to meet you. i want to confirm it. it's real not one of many endless dreams of mine" She said looking at him desperately.

Dominique awkwardly move his limbs to take her in his embrace. She hugged him back tightly. Dominique have heard from his father when a fated mate came near them it feel magical. Where they touch it feels as if they are electrified but at this moment, he didn't know what he is feel? He is calm more than his usual days when he feeling restless. His headache has disappeared. His mind is clear than before as of dense fog have cleared after heavy rain. ( i am not sure tho if it really happen or fog got heavier after rain? seems i am quite dumb ╥_╥ ) He sure feels those tingles when she touched his hand but he can't shake off this awkwardness he is feeling at the moment.

"Won't you tell me your name?" Dominique ask her still in his embrace.

"I am Celestine Sangray from Kingdom Sleteron" She said hesitating and move from his embrace.

Kingdom Sleteron is Kingdom of witches who practice dark magic which was once in war with Kingdom Velaris. There king used to think, they are the Most Powerful individual that why it should be them who suitable to be Royal King and rule over entire Ancient Earth but King Damian able to defeat him and Sealed him on deepest part of his castle. When their king sealed away in castle, Kingdom Sleteron Magic become unstable and People on Kingdom Sleteron ended up losing to unstable energy and become monstrous breast ready to kill anyone they see. At the end Kingdom Sleteron become cursed Kingdom. Now Kingdom Sleteron is like Hell where Dangerous creatures roam freely. The Door of Kingdom was locked so mutated people can't came out of door but it has a small gap which is too small for them to came out to another realm. Only few people able to save themselves from unstable energy. They can go out of door but they loved their kingdom that why they refuse to leave it.

"But i am not anyone who is bad, I came here only to look for my mate. I didn't know that King himself will be ended up being my mate" She said trembling.

"It ok, what done was done by your king. It doesn't need to reflect on you" He said caressing her cheek. It doesn't matter where she from? She is his mate. Till now he was carefree about his mate because he doesn't want to be bound to a stranger by string of fate but here, he can't seem to resist the full of being mated to someone.

"Should we go inside and announce about us finding each other" Dominique said softly.

"I don't want everyone to know about us yet, I don't have courage to face people's criticizing gaze because of where i were belongs to. So, if King can give me some time to adjust. I am not used to sudden attention from people" She said shyly.

"We understand, no need for you to be in front of people if you don't want to. We won't force you" Dominique said in caring voice he doesn't know till now he owns.

"Let us take you to your room before we announce about us finding a mate" Dominique said.

"I will return to Kingdom Sleteron for now. I don't want to stay here before we are officially mated" She said in low voice.

"But.... Kingdom Sleteron is not safe..." Dominique said frowning.

"I am used to living there" She said looking at him.

"But we will be at ease if you stay with us till, we officially mated" Dominique insisted.

He doesn't want his mate to stay between those monstrous beings. After a pause she agrees to stay in Warevein Palace.

"We will let Adrian take you to your room. Tomorrow we will let you meet our family" Dominique said to her before mind linking Adrian.

After a while Adrian appear before him.

"What can I do for you Royal King?" Adrian said in teasing manner wiggling his eyesbrows.

"Please meet my mate Celestine Sangray" Dominique ignored Adrian tone and introduce him to his mate calmly.

At first Adrian was shocked at his calmness but then again when even Dominique become hyper to begin with? It's just his nature to stay clam in every situation.

"Hello, please to meet you our future Queen Celestine, I am one and only beta Adrian jones" Adrian said bowing respectfully. Even if they just met but she still Dominique Mate who will be his Queen in Future.

"Hello, please call me Just Celestine. I am a normal human being from normal class" She said bowing back to him.

"Adrian, please take her to her chamber in our Hall" Dominique said to Adrian without changing expression.

"Ok"

Adrian Look at him confused. If it's him he would have announced to whole world that he found his mate and who is his mate but here Dominique told him to send his mate somewhere else.

"Please have rest, we will see you later" Dominque said before returning to Banquet Hall.

"Beta Adrian, please don't misunderstood Royal King Dominique. It my wish to not be in front of everyone. I am not ready for this life yet" She said awkwardly.

Adrian nodded understandingly before taking her towards Dominique Hall. Dominique Mate room was prepared when he turned 18 but she didn't appear till now. That room was never used by anyone but it was always kept clean, never knows when his mate will appear. Her Room was little far from Dominique but it still in his floor.

"Please Rest for today, I am sure tomorrow going to be a long day" Adrian said before he returned to Banquet hall too.

At Banquet Hall,

People were anxious when they saw Dominique return. Those who heard him call out to him mate even more shocked to see him return alone.

Dominique reached his throne and called out to announcer and whispered something to him.

"Please be silence, Royal King Dominique have something important to announce" He announced loudly to get everyone attention.

Since he rarely say anything except official greeting in occasion's he attends people are eager to know what he wants to announce.

"I am sorry for sudden announcement but it's important. I am sure many of you have already know my mate haven't appear for years and this year would have been last if she doesn't appear, I would have taken a bride by choice but I have found my Mate not long ago. I would have introduced her to everyone but she didn't wish to accept our life yet. They belong to normal class. They need time to accept everything and be in spotlight. We have decided to respect their choice and let them adjust before we came public with them. Till then I hope everyone will try not to prey our and our mate privacy. Thank you"

After his announcement some heart are filled with joy, some hearts are broken like Ira and Clover and some simply don't care. With this Annual Banquet came to an end and many people's long-awaited Mate of Royal King have appeared.
