Adrian was quiet after reading it.

"So, basically King Ascian turned rebel because he thought King Raven told higher ups about him having soulmate from a Kingdom of Light. Something happens to his mate and it turned him against the Royal King" Adrian once again summarize his thoughts.

"Yes, But I was never told about it when I was studying about him. They thought he was power hungry tyrant who want to rule over The Ancient Earth. No one knows the real reason behind his rebel." Dominique stated while leaning against his chair. Even tho Anything related to King Ascian was destroyed but it was still necessary for a Royal King to know about their history briefly.

Adrian turned the pages but it was empty. There was nothing entered in journal.

"Umm, it ended?" Adrian asked.

"At first I thought so too until this caught my eyes" Dominique took the journal and closed it. He put the journal in front of Adrian and leaned back to his chair. Adrian look at him with raised eyes as if asking though eyes 'What?'

"Why would I want see decoration of a journal?" Adrian asked.

"This journal was prepared in this way even if you find it and read it you won't know purpose of it, you will only know things slightly which are not really helpful in any way, only arises more question. You can't find anything useful unless it chose you as right person" Dominique said with a smirk.

"You are annoying, just say so" Adrian rolled his eyes.

"it was supposed to found by every Royal King till it reaches the right one, means dad have read it too but he never told me about it or hinted about it so i am guessing those who read it previously, have forgotten about it after reading it" Dominique shrugged.

"So, you were the right one, it chose you but how? It didn't help us in anyway" Adrian raised his eyes once again.

Dominique took the journal back and pointed to a certain area.

"Can you see this area?" Dominique asked.

"Duh, of course, do I look blind to you?" Adrian narrowed his eyes.

"What did it look like?" Dominique asked.

"Some sort of art work" Adrian shrugged.

"It's not art work" Dominique put his fingers on middle of the area and removed it.

"It has some sort of mechanism or magic where when you put your finger in it, it will pierce you and draw out your blood but their no drop of blood in book. i found it by mistake when i was inspecting it and got pierced so i am guessing it is to choose the right Royal king and if you open it now, there will be new entries in Journal" Dominique said while showing his slightly bloodied finger and moved the journal toward frowning Adrian.

"Don't you think it's too much? why this secrecy?" Adrian glared at the journal.

"Read it and you will know" Dominique replied.

Greeting my dear descendant,

I am sure when you find this small Journal, I would be a long-forgotten history. I am called Raven Z. You may have known me by those boring lesson we have to get as Royal descendant to know our family history. Yes, they are boring even in my time, who wants to know those old farts who already dead. Sure, i am one of them too now.

I started writing this journal as Kid because my mother told me to but today i am turning it to something which can help to stop some disaster which i fear will fall some decades later. All the information you need in future will be erased and no one will be there to tell you the reason for thing happening. This journal will casted magic so it will appear at same time when he will appear again to take his revenge. i am sure you may have already guessed it Who i meant to.

I am also not very well acquired with the full events because even if we were adults we lacks communication but I am someone who knows a missing part which no one knows. His matters was not as simple as it may have looks to people. Him and I have known each other long before he was known as tyrant king who tried to kill Royal King to took over Kingdom Velaris. You can call us close friends who turned brothers. We met in Annual Banquet where we were forced to go and we hit it off as soon as we met despite our age difference. He was older than me but he looks very young because he aged slow. Even if he belongs to dark world, he was a kind hearted person. He didn't treat me as small child but as his equal nor he behave like he was someone who is above me just because i was a kid.

We sometime met and when we met, he told me many things about himself. He was someone who is indifferent to people, only those he allowed can come closer to him. His bloodline is more ancient than ours. Even if they were from pureblood bloodline somehow their population started to decline and suddenly, he was the only one left alone. Their blood was not like ours. Their blood was red but when it came in contact with atmosphere, it turned black as sign of corruption. It sound weird for someone who belongs to darkness.

One day he specially come looking for me. He looked happy. He wanted to tell me this news first because I was someone important to him. He told me, he found someone he wanted to spent his whole life with. Because his bloodline was different from us, they don't have Fated soulmates. They can choose whoever they want but sometime they can just be imprint or get imprinted to someone. When they imprinted to someone it's lot stronger in their case to the point of wanting to possess them as whole. Their Mates have the power to drove them to point of madness.

He never told me who was the person but they were from one of the Kingdom of Light. Since Kingdom of Dark and Kingdom of Light mating was not approved, they kept it a secret. Ascian have wanted to introduce them to whole world but his other half refused to disclose her identity because they were afraid to be separated. After that day I have met him some times but slowly I was not able to meet him. I tried to talk to him about this but he refused to talk at first, he looked angry and there this feeling in his eyes as if he was deceived. he told me, He was sparing me because I was someone important to him once so it would be better if I were to leave him alone.

Later one day news broke out about him trying to take over the Kingdom Velaris. I met him again, he looked different than ever and that's when i know it was his real face as King of Sleteron, As King of darkness. He was someone who longed to have humanity in himself more so he tried to be in more contact with his human side but at that moment he have forgotten his humanity. Once again, I asked him why he doing this?

At first, he mocked me but then he looked hurt just looking at me. I still remember the look on his eyes. They were accusing me for betraying him.

"Didn't you tell them about us?"

I was confused what he meant by this. He looked angrier when he saw my confused face.

"Didn't you tell her higher up about Me and Norene?"

I was shocked at his accusation because I have known his mate name but I never told anyone about his mate. I don't even know which kingdom she belongs too?

"But I never told anyone about it" I said to him in disbelieve.

"Don't lie, they punished her. They killed her because she broke the rule of kingdoms. If it's not you them who would have known about it, I only told you about her? I felt her, I felt her wither in pain. She was suffering but I can't go to her because of those useless Kingdom rules. They denied me to go there. I can't check on her and she slipped from my hand. I have lost her" He spat those angry words at me.

I was shocked. I know Kingdom rules are somewhat cruel but those were made to stop the conflict between Kingdoms. Since King Ascian was from an old, powerful bloodline other kingdom were always wary of him. That's why he was refused to go to his mate I was sure of it.

"What if it was just a minor Wound? She could be alive. If you told me her information, I can check on her" I tried.

"Don't pretend as if you don't know her. I have seen you met her. Just because we belong to different kingdoms we were not allowed to mate? These Kingdom Rules kill people for loving each other? If they going to just harms us? Why do we even need them? Why we even need a Royal King when he is the reason for those unnecessary rules. I am going to destroy those who is reason for my sorrow. I am going to make Kingdom Velaris and Royal King vanish so they can never destroy people" He declared getting more and more angry as he speaks.

"But don't worry I won't kill you now because of our once so-called friendship. But you betrayed me, I will return you the pain bigger than mine which you will feel even after dying" He said coming closer to me.

I didn't try to run away because i was sure he won't kill me as he said but i should have avoided him. He stood in front of me and look at me dead on eyes which i returned. He used to have the habit to take me in his embrace whenever we met. Today, he did that too and it cause me to skip a beat from fear because today he was not the one i know.

"Haha, Raven you heart is beating too fast, didn't i say i won't kill you because i have something else planned for you" He chuckled before biting me in neck which hurts like hell and it caused me to passed out. i did not know why he did that but i found myself back in palace and the key was not with me. He took it back. He closed the door which have connected us this long.

After that I tried to look for someone who broken the kingdom rules in all 4 Kingdoms of Light but I was not able to find anyone. Because they afraid of the consequence they refuse to disclose the matter. I was never able to know who was the person. But this is the reason why war begin but it was just beginning.

War have started with Kingdom Sleteron and many lives were lost, Kingdoms were destroyed by him for supporting Kingdom Velaris. He wanted to destroy everyone and everything came in between his revenge.

Later we took a hard decision to seal him in his palace because killing him was not possible. He was center of his kingdom. Before his heir born if he were to die his kingdom will die along with him. That's what his kind speciality was. We were not this cruel enough to kill those innocent people.

He was sealed by Royal King my brother Daven Z, Me and Mage Elior Jones from Kingdom Elysian. It was painful to do that to my dear friend but he has lost his sanity. He was blinded by anger and ready to destroy anyone who crosses his path. We thought sealing him would be end of disaster but it was not. At the end we were not able to save the people from Kingdom Sleteron. He unleased the unbalanced dark energy stored in Palace before being sealed which turned his kingdom to living hell.

Every victory need sacrifice and this victory caused us my brother. He started getting weaker day by day because he was affected by Kingdom Sleteron unbalanced dark energy. Even if his body was strong, he absorbed large amount of dark energy. his health started to decline but he didn't disclose his matter to anyone except me and his queen.

One day he called me to his chamber. At first i thought it was to talk about his health, how to improve his health but he put me in a very difficult moment.

"Brother, how are you?" I greeted him. Her queen was not sitting far from him but she was not looking at him.

"Umm brother, did something happen?" I ask feeling uncomfortable.

"Raven, i want you to listen carefully to big brother okay" My brother who was leaning against bed said looking at me dead serious.

"I am listening brother" I replied not knowing the matter.

"I want you to mate with Kaira and produce an heir so people will at ease when i die, i don't want people to panic just because their king died heirless" He said looking dead serious.

"Brother ... what are you saying? are you gone mad? Sister in law did you hear what nonsense brother is saying?" i said feeling suffocated.

"We don't have any other option Raven, don't you think i am saying this because i am joking or not serious. who in the world want his mate to give birth to his brother child? but i am a king, i have a duty to fulfill to my people. i don't have much time left and i can't produce an heir in this condition. My body have too much dark energy" Daven tried to convince me.

"Brother you will be fine, we will find the cure to heal you. Soon you will be running in your two feet so no need to do this" I tried to reassure him even if i was not sure myself.

"I have only one month left Raven, i just want you to do this for me, for your big brother please" Daven said while tears in his eyes. My brother who used to be strong willed cried like baby that day.

Later i agreed to produce heir with Queen Kaira. It was very difficult moment for all three of Us but we still did it. My brother died the day Queen Kaira pregnancy were announced and that's how my cursed Bloodline become Daven's bloodline which no one knows of. My family knows my heir as Daven's heir which will continues for as long as this journal will at last choose his owner and reveal the truth.

"Holy sh*t, No fucking way. What did i just read? King Daven Bloodline was just a lie. It was actually King Raven's" Adrian literally screamed.

"Yes, that what shocked me too, King Raven never mated to anyone and at last what happens to him no one knows of. He was alone all his life and once his heir become next Royal King, he just disappeared. After that there nothing more written in Journal, it was empty " Dominique replied. Adrian turned the page and it sure was empty. He closed the journal.

"There many unanswered questions left tho like why Queen Kaira disappeared from both lineage history?" Adrian said while rubbing his temples.

"Yes, but what our priority is King Ascian, I was informed by one of spy there some suspicious movements in Kingdom Sleteron which were unusual" Dominique informed Adrian.

"Do you think King Ascian seal broken?" Adrian asked looking worried.

"The blood we found near those skeletons was black so maybe" Dominique shrugged.

"But why would he come to Kingdom Velaris and kill those rogues?"

"I am not sure, what his purpose was by coming here and just killing those rogues but indeed something happening behind our back which we were not aware of" Dominique replied looking dead serious.
