New Form: Earth Lizard (Cool but Heavy)

After I scan all the rewards, all of it is placed in my dimensional storage (Of course, only those that could be put or have a physical body), the skill then learned by me without any hindrance, and the element also adds to my stats. 

Currently, what I have now in my control is the element of Earth solely. Although I have skills where I could use the fire element and the water element, the fact that these two elements could only be used by me when using the specific skills means that it isn't under my control. I can't manipulate them on my own accord. 

Compared to the two elements that I mentioned, the earth element is under my full and free control. Especially with the skill "Earth Manipulation". With the element and the skill as a set, I am now an official Earth Wizard or Earth Manipulator. 

After all the rewards are settled, it is time for me to look at my new form. 

But before that, I remember, my level also rose one stage and now I am in Martial Mortal Middle Stage Cultivation Level. Not much progress, but in the end, it is still better than nothing. 

I also start to think if it should be time to leave my current base and find a new place where I could live and hunt more powerful beasts. I'll ask the system after assessing my new form though. Not to mention, my body is now bigger than before, it is time for me to find a bigger place. 

'But before I leave, I think I should check the end of the cave.' My heart always skips every time I think about the end of the cave. I have a feeling that something like a treasure is stored within. 

Because of my new element, my body underwent another evolution where some parts of my body turned brown as a result. One of my eyes is brown while the other one remains red. My claws are three inches long and as sharp as a sharpened rock. I have pointed rocks around my body which made me look more ferocious; if a bird accidentally falls on my back, I'm sure it won't live for another second anymore.  

The sky is now dim, and the breeze is cold. The yellow-orange sun is half asleep as half of its part is now hidden behind the mountains. 

At this moment, I am still in the Lizard's Den, I plan to test my new form as I go home.

Other than the new features of my vision and the ability to see in the darkness or dark atmosphere better than in the body of a mountain rat, my movement is also affected. 

Turns out it isn't easy to have a huge body, I can feel all my bulging muscles as I move; I am slower than before. Not just a bit, but almost five times slower. 

Although I gained a powerful defense, my speed got killed. 

'Why is it so difficult and feels so uncomfortable?!' I say. 'Maybe because I am not used to the new form of mine that causes these disadvantages?' I have no idea.

Sigh~

I don't want to ask the system with this dumb question. But I also have to use my brain to think, and solve some of my own problems so I deleted the idea. 'I'll learn it in the future anyway' 

Sometimes I'm breaking my own words but, I guess, this is why everyone said; nothing is perfect. So am I. 

Huff! 

After walking for a few more meters, about ten meters or so, threads of sweat eventually break out on my body, and the drip-drop sounds in my ears. My pulse beats faster and heavier the more I walk. 

The atmosphere is now darker and it seems night has fallen. Unfortunately, with my current form, I can't look at the sky.

'This body is troublesome.' I say. 'Cool, Yeah. But it is difficult to get used to at the same time.'

In the end, I decided to return to my red eyes rat mountain form.

Just as I anticipated, I can't continuously use this ability. There is the time duration.  

After paying a little attention to the screen, I wave my hand and clear it away and run as fast as possible. Or as fast as I can towards my base. 

I want to sleep now and have some good rest. I don't think my mental and physical strength still couldn't keep up if I continue to exhaust my body.   

Fortunately, after turning back into red eyes mountain rat form, my speed once again came back to normal. And because I can grasp this more perfectly than my newly obtained form, I successfully return to my base just after a traveling time of an hour. 

My entire body is on the verge of collapse. 

I guess I bitted more than I can chew today. 

I could only roll my eyes as I laid my back in the comfortable corner where I used to sleep.

Once again, the problem that I just realized yesterday is now bugging me again. 

With the low level of cultivation of those beasts residing in this place, whether the water element beast, the black striped fish, and the Lizards, (well, they are the only race that living in the vicinity), even if I killed many of them, I doubt I still could receive enough exp for a breakthrough. 

Especially now that I already killed the Earth Lizard, I don't think they still have some use for me. 

'I think the time for me to leave the place has come!' 

Based on the system, the forest has approximately a size of five thousand kilometers and many types of beasts are residing in this piece of land. 

However, because of the differences, (which different races) beasts with the same kind are living in the same place or in one den, while those different races reside in another part.

As an example, the place where the earth lizards reside and the pond where the Stripped Fish are far from each other. And no one of them is trying to step into each territory. (Maybe the one that I killed are a rebellious one) (If you could remember, the first lizard I hunted was just accidentally found by me when I was hunting striped fish at that pond) 

For easier explanation, every race has a designated place where they reside.

And based on the system information that it gave me when I reached the Martial Mortal Level of Cultivation as a reward for my achievement, it said that the more I walk towards the surface of the Forest, the stronger the beast that I could encounter. 

I also doubted why, this is the first time I heard that the strongest beast resides at the surface of the forest.

Commonly, what you could hear is, the more you walk deeper into the forest, the more you could encounter more ferocious creatures, but at this moment, it is different. 

When I asked the system about my doubt, it didn't speak too much, it just said that there is something it can't speak at. And I must be the one to uncover the truth. 

For the system to suddenly turn mysterious, I guess, it really something I shouldn't fret at if I don't need that much.

'But before I forget, it's time to explore the end of this cave!'
