"How's the portfolio?" This friend of mine literally knows how to make my day bad.

"Jam, C'mon. I still have a hang over. I can't even think straight." I massage my temple to ease the pain, I drank all night not thinking I have a portfolio that is to be passed today.

She sat infront of me, put her right palm under her chin and looked at me intently. "What is it this time?" She keeps doing this all the time as if I didn't know what was the reason of her visit.

"Tell me... Did he cheat?"

'Did he cheat on you?' my mind and Jam said it in chorus.

See! Knew it! I sighed. Did the same gesture she did a while ago.

"Jam, I have no time in answering your question. As you can see..." I motioned my hand infront of her.

"...this is what I have to do. You are wasting minutes of my time. The due is today and if I won't be able to pass this on time today. That son-of-a-not-bitch will be on my bad side." I said with full sarcasm and plastic smile on my face. She rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Ugh, really? You're saying that on my face? Right now?" She sat properly.

"Lemme tell something, Crazy Amy. Yesterday, You just called me. 2 am in the morning, atcualy, it was earlier only. And as a concerned friend. I picked it up. Of course, why wouldn't I? Right? Now, I'm here. Also, as a concerned friend. You won't tell me what's going on?" She blurrted out.

I was a bit shocked, and i blinked many times, the familiar pain hit my chest. I drank yesterday just to forget that. And this friend of mine reminded me of what happened to me and that good-for-nothing-fcktard. She has a point somehow, I just disturbed her beauty rest, then I won't tell the story. It's offending, yeah.

So I just did, I told her everything. From the beginning, 'til the very end. Its was simple, I guess and also weird. I didn't shed even one single tear. Maybe, it's because of the alcohol?

Jam hold my hand, "It's okay to feel hurt, I won't ask you to tell me the story. But, I just wish for you to be at Jerry's later tonight? Old habits?"

"I won't be able to go, Jam. I have errands to do. Plus. Ate, will be waiting for me for dinner together with Kuya Max. She's having their first baby. And Kuya will be out of town for a business trip this weekend." I explain to Jamaica. I wish I could, but I can't. My schedules aren't fixed right now.

Jam sighed. "Okay. lunch today?" I thought of it for a second.

"Sure!" She smiled sweetly, "Great! Fix your things I'll be waiting for you outside. I'll call the squad." I nodded as an answer.
