13 ° Me And You

The Monday after school was warm. I didn't know what to think of that. It was the middle of winter and I didn't know what to make of the sudden weather change.

My walk to school with Sunny was silent. She didn't look me in the eyes. I didn't force her. Now we were on the hill. On our hill.

She still didn't look at me. So we sat in silence. I sighed, reaching into my pocket. I pulled a cigarette from the box, lighting it. Sunny looked over at me, distaste on her features. I took a drag "I thought you quit" she said softly. It caught me off guard. Sunny was never soft. She was loud and straightforward.

I shrugged "I did" was all I said in return. I took another drag. She turned away from me. "That's not healthy" I smiled "nothing I do is healthy" I shrugged. She snorted at this.
