Because of a One Bruise

As I open my eyes, I saw Alexander's face near mine.

The sun rays that passed through the window, reflected on the other side of his handsome face.

His dark wavy hair, almond brown eyes and his perfect face features was even more visible under the sun's ray.

" I'm sorry! is it fine now?!" (in an audible sound)

An audible sound and view, I only focused on looking at his face.

Then a second later, Alexander turned his head on my face and stared too.

"Hey! is it fine- now?" He said before he started starring at me.

It felt like the time around us had stopped. The birds outside the windows, seemed to be singing a romantic melody, and it felt like we were a garden full of flowers.

Him, touching my sides, and we were close to each others.

It only lasted for half a minute, then I came back to my senses.

I was still in his hands, but I immediately removed his hands around me and backed off.

"Can you please stop touching it and just call one of the maids?!" I told him.

"Oh- Oh, You're right! I'm sorry! I'll call one of the maids now!" He said stuttering and went to call a maid nearby.

I sat at the sofa placed near there and waited.

I endured the pain extraculating from the bruise on my forehead. It wasn't bleeding but it really hurt sos much that it felt like my head was going to crack open in a second.

Minutes later, Alex came running with 2 maids along with him.

"Young Miss!" one of the maid shouted.

"Are you alright young miss!" the other shouted.

It wasn't that long after they reached me, they checked on me immediately.

After they saw the bruise on my forehead. They rushed me to my room and called the other maid to fetch the ointments and first aids.

Alex on the other hand, followed.

"OMG! young miss! what have you been doing?! Look at this bruise, it's really bad!"

The maids started to panic.

"Is it really that bad?" I got worried.

"Yeah!, earlier it only looked like a smashed tomato... but now, it looks rotten!" Alex who was on the side said.

"Do you even have to say it like that?!" I asked.

"Well anyway, Young miss!, this needs to be taken care of. Come on! Let's go to your room!" one of the maids exclaimed.

I stood up and the maids supported me. We went to the way to my room, Alex followed.

I saw him following us and got concerned for a moment.

"Why are you following us?" I asked him.

"To check up on you, of course!" He replied.

"Uhhm, were going to my room... my. room!" I said trying to send him a message.

(It's a girls room)

I thought he will get that but answered like this instead:

"Uhhmm, Yeah?" he said, like he has no idea.

So I have no choice but to tell him instead.

"It's my room. A girls room! and basically boys shouldn't enter a lady's room that without their permissions!" i said.

'I hope he did get that he isn't allowed to enter my room' I thought in my mind.

But what he said next really pissed me off.

"Then, can I enter your room?!" he asked smiling.

I froze right at that moment. I can't believe it!

'Is he really dumb or did he mean that?' I asked in my mind.

"I'm not comfortable with strangers entering my room, so NO!" I told him, and tried to walk faster.

The maids besides me also started walking fast, trying to level on my speed. I looked behind me and Alex just stood there looking at me and the maids as we get farther.

In my room,

As I laid on my bed, the maids gave my bruise a proper cleaning and waited for the doctor to come and check it.

Minutes later, Mom and Dad suddenly barged in my room. I and the maids was startled.

"Nicole! Honey! Are you alright?!" Mom exclaimed worriedly.

They maids backed down for a moment as Mom and Dad went rushing to my bed.

They bent down to my level and checked up on me.

Mom squeezed my cheeks really hard ang kissed them.

"What happened! How did you got this bruise?!" My Mom asked me panicky.

I got nervous and couldn't answer well.

"Uhmm, I... You see... I- was running down the hall, then I didn't notice... there was a wall in front of me. When I faced in- front, it was already too late then I just found myself lying on the floor. hehe!" I told mom and laughed awkwardly.

"What were you doing running down the hall?" My dad asked me curiously.

"I was just running, nothing else!" I exclaimed.

"Ok! Ok! Just lie down and wait for the doctor" My mom settled me down

The maids offered Mom and Dad chairs to sit on, since they were kneeling down on the floor.

Not long ago, our family doctor arrived.

"Dr. Leaf!" Dad exclaimed.

Dr. Leaf, a very famous Doctor known for his average skills. There are no illness that he can't cure, from all of the thousand patients he had cured, none failed.

'haa' I sighed. 'I can't believe that he is our family Doctor.

He entered my room and walked towards me . He took a thorough look from my bruise and made his prescriptions.

"Is she going to be alright?!" My parents asked.

"Hmmm, The bruise is so big, and the impact she has taken is large. She's going to experience hemorrhage often and severe pain from her head, but she's going to be fine as long as she doesn't move that often." Dr. Leaf said.

He just said that and I can already feel a lot of pain.

"Arghhh! It hurts!" I grunted and moved my hands to the side of my head to support them from the pain.

"That's what you get for running without looking what's in front of you!" A voice suddenly appeared from nowhere.

when I turned to look, Alex stood there with his sister, Amyelia and Aunt Xandra at their front.

Alex had his arms crossed across his chest and had this annoying yet cute smirk in his face.

But I got annoyed for a moment that made my headache increase.

"sigh"

"What are you doing here?!" I only asked him.

"Checking up on you ofcourse!" He said trying to piss me off.

I was already pissed the moment I saw him, but I just can't show it out. Not when my parents are here.

"Only Aunt Xandra and Amyelia are allowed to enter here" I exclaimed.

"Why?!' He asked.

"Uhmm, cause your a boy and they're girls" I replied.

"Ehhh! Isn't your dad a boy too, and also Dr. Leaf here." He said counterfeiting what I was saying.

"Well, he's my Dad and Dr. Leaf here is checking up on me!" I said.

"What's wrong with you two?!" The people inside the room shouted at us as they watched us confront each other.

"Ughh" I groaned.

"Just get out! It's really weird having you in here!" I shouted at him.

"Fine!" He shouted back at me and left.

Then my head started vibrating again. I endured it.

Dr. Leaf started bandaging my head and ordered me not move around a lot and rest.

I complied.
