I was a bit stunned when Harry snaked his arm around my waist. “You look wonderful tonight,” Harry whispered, which gave me shivers that crawled down my spine.
I looked at Harry, “T-thanks,” I stuttered. I even felt my face heat the way he looked at me. I can’t hold his gaze, so I looked at my friends, who were looking at us with their sour faces.
“Oh, please... Stop it, you two. You make us envious.” Margaux winced, which makes me chuckle.
“I can smell a break-up tonight,” Jane smirked, then she sips on her champagne. She was still looking at Rhyan and Alexa, arguing not far from our table. We even saw Alexa walk out while Rhyan shook his head. He looked devastated.
“See, I told yah,” Jane grinned. “Don’t worry. I’ll save your friend from embarrassment.” She winked at me before she stood up and walked towards Rhyan.
I sighed in relief when I saw Jane and Rhyan coming to our table.
“Hey,” Harry greeted Rhyan.
“Hi,” He greeted back as they shook hands.
