Cunningham Fortress was fortified with security details from each council, now that Hector's trial was concluded, fortification had downgraded as some of the council have left. A huge fraction of security was removed when Cornelius departed the palace. The others followed. Hawthornes and De Lutherbergh were already gathered at the gates, ready for departure.
