Forty-Four - What you really want

Romeo Clement Alderige patiently waited outside the dining hall. A consolation to his dilemma was the view from the front porch, lights illuminated the statues, lifeless, but they were all witnesses of the horror of Cunningham. Numerous men marched on the grounds, checking every corner of the fortress. Even the defense turrets were occupied. Richard Nelson was scheduled to fly out of the country tonight, unlike Romeo, he had to work for his earnings, leaving his softened colleague to his own pool of thoughts. Bennett had to recall Nelson as Aberdeen put some pressure on his back to clear the Alderige's name on the Davis murder, which was investigated by Nelson. He dropped his bag beside Romeo.

"I hate leaving you alone here, man. But, you know, call of duty. Your aunt's kind of a bitch." He snickered.

"I would really want to join you but I need to clear something up." Romeo vaguely responded.

"Oh, interesting. You want to make a move with that gorgeous Sonia Astor?"
