Chapter Forty-six– Taking the celebration home

“I love you more. This is the just the beginning of us.” I was on the top of the world. Everyone came and wished me again. My friend ordered champagne to celebrate. I spoke with my family, and they asked him, when he is planning to get us married.

He answered very smartly. “If your daughter agrees, I am ready to marry her at this moment. I see my future with her and I can’t wait to start it.” After that, all of them spoke a little and I ended the call. We had our food and champagne.

I thought of taking the celebration home. I was talking with Sam, while he and Brandon, were keeping my gifts in my car. Charlotte approached me.

“Congratulation boss. Surely his style has changed.” I know where she was going. But before I can say anything, Damon came back and held my waist. He kissed my shoulder and spoke to her. “Charlotte, I know you do not report to me directly. But you do know that I am the boss too.”

“I was just congratulating her. What’s wrong with that?”
