Hannah's POV

I was confused. I don't know why, but I don't think that Ryan would put on an act or play dumb like that. But I can't think of The Swifts lying about him to me either. They know how much he means to me, as a friend even.

I was at my home, that day ended and I didn't initiate another conversation with Ryan.

Sam called me at night when I was lost in thoughts.

"Hey," I said.

"Hey listen. After thinking a lot, I came up with something sensible"

"Oh great. Then please tell me Samantha, or do I need to consult a priest for some bliss time?!"

"Okay okay. Listen" Sam said. "See. I think you should keep an eye on The Swifts and I will talk to Ryan"

"Why so?" I asked.

"umm... Because the Swifts don't know me, they won't talk to me. I mean... They can talk to you. And about Ryan... I don't think he will talk or tell you anything. But if I act like I'm on his side other than yours, he can give me a lead"

"Tell me you aren't taking detective classes"
