The After Party

I was lost in her. I didn’t have any reason not to kiss her. I wanted her, so I did. I was relieved when she kissed me back. That is the hardest part when you kiss someone for the first time.

This kiss was the best I ever had. She tasted so beautiful. I felt my heart flutter.

As we parted, I expected her to smile. But what I saw broke me. She was sad. Her eyes were watery. I should have asked her. I should have fucking asked her before touching her. Before kissing her.

I got away and she looked down. Maybe she was trying hard not to run away and ruin everything.

I took a step towards her to console her. She looked up. “It-it-it is okay. L-Let’s go” she said and I followed her. Nothing is okay, Ash, I know that.

She went normally till the backdoor but then she ran away. I heard her crying as she ran. I ran before her.

She entered the restroom and locked the door.

“O-Open the door, Ash…” I said knocking on the door.

She didn’t reply. “Ash…”
