Chapter 33: Breaking the dungeon!!!
HP:35,000
Description: With the head of the human, it can think and make a better choice. With the body of a lion, it can be patient enough to wait for its prey and then charge at it for a kill. With a tail with spikes, it can be used in battle for surprise attack …
The hell manticore looked extremely weird to me. It was the combination of human, lion, and porcupine maybe. With a human head, a body resembling a lion, and a long tail with spikes like that of porcupine quills. This weird combi made the creature look all the more weirder.
As I was observing it, it also seemed to have noticed me. The atmosphere started to cool down as it emitted a terrifying gaze. It was a gaze of a predator looking at its eyes. This gaze didn't intimidate me at all. I also looked back at it with the gaze of the hunter. The
I equipped my bow on one hand and fired the arrows rapidly. It dashed to the left and nimbly avoided the arrows. I then unequipped the bow and charged at it with 2 swords on both hands. It also pounced towards me with an expression that said can't wait to eat me up.
When we were 1 meter apart, it slammed its tail in my direction. I was startled by this and remembered its description in the weakness section. I moved to the left nimbly to avoid the upcoming spikes.
Whoosh
10 deadly spikes stroke the place I was before. And on further inspection, I noticed that the spikes seemed to be poisonous as well as the ground was starting to melt. The poison was like sulfuric acid (Sulphuric acid) devouring everything. I gulped hard and became wary of its deadly spikes.
I was about to charge in as I noticed that it was already only a few centimeters apart. It had charged in when I was looking at the place I was standing. I squatted down and rolled backward to create a small distance between us. As soon as I rolled backward, the place was hit with a bam.
Bam~~~
It had slammed its tail again. This time there were no more spikes but the force behind was scary. The place had a small crack as all the marbles on the floor were destroyed by the attack. Seeing that its rushing attack didn't work, it was extremely furious. Its eyes glowed as if there was something burning inside its eyes. It roared loudly to express its fury.
Roar~~~
It then looked at me and swung its claws.
Whoosh
A claw made up of air or qi or maybe energy materialized and charged at me straight. Seeing this, I replied with the
Bang…
I was pushed back 2 steps by the blow and the manticore was also pushed back 3 steps. It looked like
As the claw neared me, I nimbly moved towards either right or left and closed the distance. As soon as I closed the distance to of few centimeters, it slammed its tails towards me.
Clang
A sound similar to that of when two metals struck each other was produced. I had blocked its tail with my 2 swords in a cross-sign. The tail had reproduced the spikes and it was again ready for a surprise attack. Fortunately, I blocked its tail before it released the spikes. I was lucky that I stopped the tail before it released the spikes.
I repelled its tail backward and was about to attack it when I felt something coming at me. I simply moved to the left and dodged its strike. I countered it with

In a matter of seconds, its HP decreased and soon hit the mark 0. With its HP turning dark, its body also dropped to the ground with a thud. Next, it started to disappear leaving behind some items.

I collected them and noticed that there was a rare sword, rare spikes. There were 2 spikes.
I liked the spike and read its description.
Required Class: Assassin
Throw at the enemy's joints and weak points to paralyze or weaken them.
Description: Retrievable, Poisonous
I tried to equip the spikes and was glad to see that I could equip them. Being a freelancer was really the best option I thought. I was once again ecstatic to have obtained this special class.
After collecting the drops, I headed forward for the boss of this stage. There were normally 3 stages in each level of the dungeons. So, I believed that I was able to encounter the boss of the dungeon. With vigilance written all over my face, I moved forward.
Whoosh
I heard something approaching me. Fearing that it was like deadly needles or poisonous arrows, I activated the shield of the
Clang…
As soon as the shield was activated, I heard something striking it. It was arrows. Fortunately, the shield was strong enough to block the arrows. The arrows were very fast, so, I wasn't able to deduce the enemy's location. The enemy was also continuously moving as I realized that the arrows were coming from different directions. But unrealistically, all the arrows regardless of the location emerged from, they all hit the same point. And the shield was starting to have cracks.
The shield lasted for 5 seconds and then disappeared like it was never there. I had deduced the enemy's location by this time. Even though the arrows were very fast, I now could see the enemy. So, I was able to guess its attack trajectories and dodge them. I didn't rush in as I continued to guess and dodge the arrows. It was good training for me.
I continued to follow up the enemy and guessed its attack path and trajectories and dodged the blows. I was able to dodge most of them but still, some still managed to graze or even hit me.
I had lost more than 1,000 HP by now.
A minute passed by
I lost another 1,000 HP.
Another minute passed by…
I lost 500 HP.
Another minute passed…
I lost 100 HP.
I then equipped
-800*10
-400*18
I hadn't seen its appearance at all until now. I was only able to make out its location strangely. It was more than 300 meters ahead of me and firing its arrows; all the while changing its location. But I was able to find the pattern behind how it moved and from where it would appear for the next attack. I had no other long-range attack options right now.
I reloaded the AK-47 next and was moving continuously. I didn't want to be hit by its arrows by standing. After reloading, I fired at it again. I repeated this for few more times. After my 4th try, I heard the system announcement notifying me that I had killed the enemy.

I then took a long, deep breath. After moving forward, I noticed that there was something strange in the air from where it was firing its arrows. It affected my vision. I then noticed that there were 5 burrows there, each connecting with one another. This must be the reason why I was able to figure out its pattern I thought. I passed through each burrow and finally found the drops on the last burrow.
It had dropped rare specs, a rare skill, and a bow.
Can see through everything clearly.
Its description was overkill. But I knew that there were many limitations to it. I stored all the items for now as I didn't need them for now.

I was sent out of the dungeon as soon as I cleared the dungeon. The system spoke to me as soon as I was out of the dungeon.
Ting.
I was shocked to see this announcement. According to it, I had cleared the mythic stage in 15 minutes. By this calculation, I needed 225 minutes, 3 hours 45 minutes, to clear it 15 times. I wasn't saddened by the time as I knew that I could complete the dungeon a lot faster than I did on the first try. But still, the time given was really small I felt.
I then used my title
I could feel the strength surging through me. I rushed into the dungeon as fast as I could. This time I didn't hold back anything and used everything in my arsenal to complete the dungeon. I finished the 1st six hell hounds in a minute, then the manticore in another, and lastly the undiscovered enemy in 2 minutes. In total, I completed the dungeon in just 6 minutes.
The boss was a humanoid monster. It was the humanoid form of the manticore. With a body and head of a human, it had a tail just like that of the manticore. And its long greyish beard was like that of the lion.
…
…
I repeatedly cleared the mythic stage and finally after a while, I successfully fulfilled the condition for the dungeon break.
Ting.
By this, I could see that the dungeon-breaking conditions were almost impossible. I was lucky that I had that title or else, even I wasn't sure if I could break the dungeon. I then heard a series of announcements ringing in my head.
