"Slide number 14" The man with stick says.
The projector displays a picture of the general. The man points the stick toward the picture.
"Our Target, This is General Mandeep. Tomorrow we tried to eliminate him before he could figure out what was happening in the city of Aries. Unfortunately, the plan didn't go as we planned. He survived with his friend"
"Next slide" The projector projects picture of the friend of General's friend.
"This is Saeed. Now if you think the General was hard to kill then just wait until you get a chance to meet this guy. These men were two of our five targets. We managed to eliminate only one of them. Now they have decided to come to our city, our nation. Five Ex-military high-ranking officers out of nowhere decide to come to our country. This is not great news and there might be more than meets the eye."
"Change to Slide 42" The man orders.
The picture changes to a castle in the center of the city.
"Once we deal with this military problem, then we strike at the heart of the city and the heart of this nation, GLORY TO OUR GREAT NATION OF LATHVIA."
"GLORY TO OUR GREAT NATION OF LATHVIA" Everyone in the room repeats.
The lights come on to reveal an old room with broken walls. The light flickers as everyone stands up and walks out of the room. The building looks like an old hospital.
"Todoroki" The instructor calls the man walking out of the room and motions him to stop.
"I have to teach the students tomorrow, so I can't come on the mission. How are your sniping skills?" The instructor asks as he collects his files. The world fades into darkness.
||TWO DAYS LATER||
You start to run toward your home. As you see fire where your house used to be.
"No this can't be happening the last memories of my family. No god please don't do this to me. Please I can't take this anymore." You speed up as you come closer to your house. You stand in front of your burning house.
"I must stop the fire" You look around and see a fire hydrant. Your hand turns to claws as you slice the fire hydrant but no water comes out of it.
You fall on your knees as you see your burning house. "Why?"
A droplet falls on your face. You look up as it starts to rain. You watch as the rain slowly puts the fire out. You stand up and walk inside your house. Mostly burned to ash. You look around as you remember how it was before all this.
"What did I do? What did I do to deserve this?"
Something falls on the ground. You look to see that it was a metal box. It gets your attention as if it's something important. You pick the box up still burning hot but you couldn't care less about burning your hands. You break the lock and open the small box. You see a picture of you with your mom and dad. It almost breaks you but you keep yourself composed. You pick the picture and notice a note under it.
You put the picture in your pocket and take out the note. The box is empty so your throw it away. You open the note. The node reads.
"Son, I knew someday this will happen. I am sorry that it has come to this. I and your mother hid many things from you. Cause we wanted to protect what was most precious to us. You. We wanted to give you what every parent wishes to give to their child. Freedom. We wanted our kid to have the best life he could have wished for. That's the dream of every parent. Son always remembers that we always loved you. You are and always will be the most important for us. In pursuit of achieving a free world for our son but maybe we tried to aim too high. Son, don't make the same mistake as us. Leave this country. Also, your mom told me to tell you to eat properly. Take care of yourself, we may not be there with you but we will be watching you from the heavens."
You close the note and put it in your pocket near your heart.
"I am sorry, Mom Dad. But I won't leave. You wanted a free world for your son and now I will make this world free for everyone. No one will suffer as I did." You walk out of the house as it starts to collapse under its own weight.
You walk toward Albert's house. You ring the bell and hear the door opening.
"Who is it?" You hear a voice from inside.
"Albert, It's me." As soon as you say that Albert quickly opens the door pulls you inside the house and closes the door.
"What happened?" You ask but Albert gives you a hug.
"I- I thought you died. They.. They told everyone that you died. Are you real? am I hallucinating or something?" Albert says in disbelief.
"This is me. I am real" You reassure Albert.
"I thought I lost you. Does this mean that your parents are also alive?" Albert asks.
You shake your head.
"I am sorry" Albert says.
"You did nothing" You say.
"Come with me let's sit and talk" Albert walks to his room and you follow him.
You sit on a chair and Albert sits on the chair next to you.
"I still can't believe you are alive. I am really happy that you are alive. I am sure Rowe will be happy to hear about thi-" The smile from his face disappears.
"What happened?" You ask Albert.
"She tried to commit su-" He stops before completing the sentence. He looks at you.
"Is she okay?" You ask Albert.
"Yes, She has been admitted to the hospital" Your eyes widen as you hear this.
"The one at top of the hill?" You ask Albert.
"No, The one near the castle." You take a breath of relief hearing that.
"But I know that this is not possible cause you can never do something like this. I am just asking to make sure." Albert says with his voice shaking.
"What is it, Albert?" You ask Albert hoping it's not something bad.
"They said th-that....That you killed your family and then the military police and then burned the house down with yourself inside. I know, I know this isn't true cause I know you can never do anything like this." He looks at you waiting for an answer.
"You know me, Albert." He takes a breath of relief.
"And you don't need to ask. You can stay here as long as you want to." Albert says smiling.
"Thank you." You say.
"Oh, someone is at the door. Let me check who it is." Albert walks to the door as you follow him.
He peeks out.
"Albert, You have grown taller since we last met" You hear as Albert opens the door.
