The Methods of Daylight Abduction Part 3

CRACK!

Noe's ribs splinter as his upper torso smashes into the side of a faraway mountain.

Around his stomach, a thick tube of tentacle and cartilage squeezes out the last drops of oxygen that Noe is still able to capture. As the tentacle tightens around Noe, a trail of blood remains. Noe is unsure if it is his or another's.

Punching the enormous tentacle, Noe tries to free himself. Although sea creatures' tentacles are often slippery, the Xeronic monster's appendage is surprisingly firm and tight, muscle accentuated in its every centimeter.

Noe's punches do nothing against its undiminishable strength.

Turning his head to look at the monster that has rendered him the most helpless he has been in his life, Noe's lips part when, the mountain which he had been smashed against, moves before his eyes.
