Airi's eyes fluttered open by the huge impact of the spinning of her head, on the effect of the inertia. But to her surprise, a completely different view welcomed her. A monotonous white ceiling, small air conditioner doing its work in one corner of the room. She squinted her eyes a few more times before adjusting her vision. Even though the room was dark, the large window beside her doing its magic, letting the moonlight pour in, lightening up the entire room. And thanks to that, she could clearly see the room inside and out.
"A hospital room?" she thought to herself. A small bedside table on one side, and a small cabinet of medicines and other stuff on the other. She just then noticed she had been lying on a hospital bed, a pale sky blue colored hospital gown on her, and she was draped over comfortably with a pure white blanket.
"What am I doin' here?" she mumbled to herself and tried to get up. Just then a sudden piercing pain made her wince. "Ugh…!"
