Juliet got home after a really disappointing night of her life only to meet what would kill her happiness for a long time.
After leaving an energy draining party, Juliet arrived her house, feeling remorseful. She felt like she let herself and her parents down. She was consumed with guilt and disgust, that she had allowed herself to be influenced by the sight of wealth. She had allowed herself all over the years to be influenced by a friend who didn't care about her and just wanted to bring misery into her life.
She opened the door to the house looking like she has cried for months as mascara had spread all over her face. Her face tasted salty after crying in a strip club bathroom for hours before exiting the club.
As she stepped into her living room she saw that the windows had been broken. What happened here?, she thought. Fear gripped her as she kept questioning, did someone break into the house? Little did she know that what she was about to see would cause her a lot more pain. She turned around and saw the bodies of her lifeless parents, they had been shot. Juliet fell on her knees close to the bodies of her parents as reality struck her. Her parents are gone, she never got the chance to apologize for treating them badly, for neglecting the value that they had impacted into her, she sleeping with men just to match up to the people in her school and how she allowed herself to be influenced by a friend and never listened to any advice from her parents. Now, she would never hear their voices, their inspirational quotes that Juliet considered to be annoying. She started recollecting some of the memories of her parents as she gazed at their motionless bodies. The harsh words she used on her parents like; I hate you two, I wish you were not my parents, why didn't God bless me with rich parents, I wish you two never existed etc These words kept ringing in her ears as guilt consumed her. Who killed them? Immediately, she started to think about her siblings, where are they? They would've have heard the gunshots and run away. She yelled all their names but no response. She kept going round until she found all of them dead and blood splashed all over the white walls. She started weeping bitterly. Who did this? She yelled with the pain in her voice. Who took the people I love the most away from me? Who is that
heartless person? And for what reason was this done? She fell on her knees and placed her head on the bodies. She didn't care that she was disturbing the evidence or that her clothes were getting stained with blood. She felt like she could just kill herself and follow them.
After a few minutes, she managed to control the tears but the pain and guilt was still tearing her apart. All she knew and loved were gone and she is never going to see them again. What was to come for her was also a worry for her. She reached in for her phone and called the police.
After a few minutes the house was filled with cops. The paramedics checked the bodies and they confirmed that truly they were dead. Those words tore her apart and the tears rolled down her cheeks. Caution tape were put around the place. The bodies were wrapped and taken to the hospital for autopsy. Then the detective walked to Juliet. Juliet asked,'What is going to happen to me?'
The detective answered,'You are a minor and therefore need to be sent child care. Hopefully you may get adopted'.
Juliet started crying. The detective patted her back to try and comfort her but it didn't work. Then she pleaded,'Please, I am begging you, please find the proprietors and make them pay'. The detective nodded and responded,'I promise that I'll do all I can to find the culprit and bring them to book'. She started sobbing as the detective got back to work.
