Boss Monster unlocked part III

Beau and the others are walking together getting closer to a Bunker that is suppose to be in the yard of a house. Master of Lies is at the moment barely awake. walking with the help of one guy. there is a lot of blood on Federico's face. he keeps bleeding. Beau is afraid that he might die for blood lost.

out of nowhere a part from a building falls on top of one guy. they run the moment that they see the Amphisbaena on top of a building. looking down at them and observing them. like a predator playing with his food.

the Amphisbaena devours one guy in seconds. they are all terrified while they run as fast as they can. the guy who is carrying Master of Lies decides to drop him. Beau tries to run back for his friend and he falls.

when Beau tries to stand up, his walking stick breaks. he is looking directly at Master of Lies, who is unable to stand up by himself. the other two guys are running far away from them. Beau is thinking. trying to find a way out.

Beau is no hero nor a brave man. but for once he wanted to do the right thing. now he feels regret. he looks at the other two guys who are running away. the Amphisbaena falls on top of them killing them.

Beau starts to think about his life and his family. he remembers the green meadow on his hometown. he imagines so many things while he is in a state of shock thinking that he might die at any moment. he never notice that someone is dragging Master of Lies far from the streets.

this is the first time that Beau looks at the sky which has a dark tone. he becomes aware of how the whole setting is changing colors slowly. everything becomes white and black. the buildings don't look realistic any more.

everything seems like a comic book. Beau laughs hysterically because he knows that the weapon to kill the monster is about to appear. Beau cleans the tears from his eyes and he falls on his knees after trying to stand up.

inside of a store; there are many guys. among them is a young lady who is taking care of the wounds on Master of Lies. she blushes while she touches his face. specially his lips. she touches his cheeks and she laughs.

Master of Lies wakes up. she looks away blushing. he tries to stand up. but he is still too weak to move and the young lady helps him to sit in a chair. he feels uncomfortable as he looks at her hand touching his chest.

"where is my partner? where is that idiot?"

said Master of Lies in a voice so fragile that sounded more like a whispering.

"don't worry he is out there alive. he is a really interesting character."

said someone.

Master of Lies looks out. he observes how is that Beau is in the middle of the road looking like a fool. is staring to rain in the whole city. Beau laughs peacefully while he looks up at the sky. he wants to believe that there is someone up there looking at him. something trying to keep him safe.

"I want to make something clear. I am going to beat the living shit out of that sassy snake. then I would go outside to beat the living shit out of the those who put me in here. and then, I would beat the living shit out of the mother fucker who thought it was a good idea for me to be inside this fucking hellhole. and I am still not sure if that son of bitch is a genius or a psycho."

yields Beau while his eyes are directly looking at the sky.

Beau stands up. he walks slowly towards the place in which Master of Lies is and he stops moving. he looks at a screen in front of him.

[ congratulations you had survived the required time. now four swords forged with the vine-branch are hiding in the city. find one of those swords, kill the beast and reclaim your rewards brave soldier.]

Beau gets inside of the store. he looks at the street. he sees a sword that is glowing, but he ignores the sword. he is no brave soldier nor a hero. so there is no reason for him to risk his life once more. when there is nothing important for him to get from playing hero. Beau sits next to Master of Lies.

none of them said a single word. but it felt like they were communicating with each other. someone brings a grape juice to Beau and he thanks that person while he notice that his whole body is trembling.

now that his body is cooling down. he is starting to feel the pain and broken bones on his body. maybe it was the adrenaline or the fear he felt at the moment. but he never notice all the minor wounds on his whole body. from his broken toes to his fracture ribs.

"it feels like shit to play hero. how is that those guys from the tales are capable of doing anything like this in their daily routine, like if it is nothing. unless they get blowjobs, there is no reasonable answer. to why risk your life for others, in such brutal ways."

said Beau out loud.

"so you only risk your life this once for a blowjob? really how stupid are you?"

said a female angry for his behavior.

"no, of course not. I risk my life like a gentleman, because I want to build my own harem. but first I need to look like a guy capable of protecting the ladies. I need to be seem as a hero, so they run towards me and asked me to be their protector. to be the last man on their lives."

said Beau in a presidential tone of voice.

"sorry please ignore my friend. he is a virgin who has been friend-zoned his whole life. so the lack of sex has affected him in a psychological level. so grave that he has become delusional. don't worry he is like a coated dog. he barks, but he doesn't bite. like I say, he is just delusional."

said Master of Lies with a peaceful tone of voice capable of convincing anyone.

Beau covers his eyes with his arm. he cries like a small kid. everyone in that store starts to feel sorry for the guy, after they see him crying like a kid. Beau feels betrayed and wronged. by the guy who is supposed to be his friend.

outside on the streets; there are four persons who had found each of the swords. they are ready now to fight the terrible Amphisbaena. one of them is Don-Savage who is behind the beast holding his sword.

in front of the beast is a man named "Choco-coco-latte." at the left side of the beast is a woman named "sweet Linda." and at the right side is "Man with no Face."

the four of them are surrounding the beast. each of them attacks with precision. they made every cut on that beast's flesh count. the Amphisbaena is not fast enough to avoid those four nor the cuts from the swords. the beast tries to withdraw. but they are not going to allow that to happen.

inside of the store; Beau uses a med kit to cured the smaller wounds on his body. Master of Lies tries to communicate with the rest of the team. the store is trembling. it feels at moments like it is going to fall on top of them.

some are screaming afraid. others are praying for it to stop. Beau takes a cigar out of his pockets. he puts it on his mouth. he smiles thinking he looks cool. he smiles at the ladies.

outside; the Amphisbaena is trying to escape. Don-Savage and Choco-Coco-Latte are following it. they are creating severe wounds on the beast. the beast screams in pain while its life span is getting shorter by every wound it receives.

buildings are destroyed. the rain gets more tense. the four warriors fighting the beast are soaked on the water. the movements of Sweet Linda are slower.

Choco-Coco-Latte stops moving fully aware that his clothes is not appropriate for battle nor attacking a beast like that one. Man with no Face asks him to give him his sword and Choco-Coco-Latte gives him the sword. Man with no Face takes the sword and he attacks the beast.

he cuts the flesh of the Amphisbaena. then he cuts off one of the heads. he jumps on top of the other head. he stabs the beast until it falls dead on the ground. the raining stops after the death of the Amphisbaena. leaving the best rewards to Man with no Face and the first place.

everyone gets out of refuges and bunkers. everyone gets out from hiding. they all walk on the streets peacefully feeling relief of knowing that the beast is dead. there appears a screen in front of everyone.

Beau feels proud of himself. by been the only one in the list from his team. then he remembers the name of his team. he starts to feel shame. someone asks him if he is the Lord Golden Ass guy. he denies his own username. Master of Lies laughs. he even tells people that the name of the team was Beau's idea. Beau walks away avoiding him.

"there you are."

yields Joaquin who is far away on the other side of the street.

Beau runs towards him. he asks him what they should do next. Joaquin seems to be a bit speechless. the rest of the team and their allies are walking towards them. they are happy almost celebrating their triumph.

there are others from other teams looking at them. they are trying to decide if Beau is a threat or a possible ally in the future.

among all of those who had decided to be careful about Beau is, the number one player himself. Man with no Face, who is trying to decided if he should eliminated them or help them. the rest of his team members are walking towards him. curious of why he is giving too much attention to those weaklings.

"you might not know what the future has awaiting for you. for that same reason I want to be sure whom among all of us are important or not. who are going to advance far or not. who might survived or not."

said Man with no Face with a creepy smile.

"they are just nobodies. the only real danger in this place is you. well all know that Sir."

said one member of his team.

"is because I am the real monster in this place that I know. some of them have the potential to become monsters. specially the idiotic looking one. he is the reason his team got in the top five. he might become a real monster in the future if I don't keep an eye on him."

said Man with no Face afraid of what the future might be.

he whispers in the ear of one of his man. they all leave silently like shadows that were never really in there. Beau smiles. he talks with the rest of the guys, but he can feel it. he can feel the eyes of the world looking directly at him.
