Hero or Fallen Hero

Zeus was not the only god in the coliseum. something that isn't odd, but what surprised everyone was the extravagant entrance of Hades, the God of the Underworld. everyone was silent in the coliseum. Zeus decided to call each of them by name to walk in front of them, so they could choose which side they would want to fight for. Zeus clarify that there is no need for anyone to feel pressure over their choice. because they can still change sides.

of course there is a condition. if someone with the title of Fallen Hero, wants to change sides to be a Hero. it is possible, unless they had already murder a player with the title of Hero. on the contrary a Hero can switch sides any time, but if a Hero kills another Hero for no reason. he would be forced to become a Fallen Hero.

Zeus was calling everyone one by one. finally is time for Man with no Face to step in front of the two gods. he decided to be a Fallen Hero. then his teammates followed him in the path of the Fallen Hero.

it was the turn of Sweet Linda, she also took the decision of been a Fallen Hero. her teammates didn't followed her. they all decided to be Heroes. Choco-Coco-Latte was next. with pride he said "Hero." he didn't need any minute nor second to decide, because he already knew what he wanted to be.

then it was the turn of the members of the team "the happy face cult." Beau is talking with Self-bet. he wants to be a better person for her. he genuinely smiles thinking about a future with her.

Zeus calls the members of the team "cupcakes anonymously smoking." Beau knows that he should put attention to everyone, who walks in front of Zeus and Hades. but he can't when he is so closed to Self-bet, his crush.

he can't think about anything, but her. then Zeus calls for the members of the next team "skull breaking silence." Beau takes Self-bet's hand. she looks at him blushing with no words to say.

"you know how I feel about you, and like I said before. I might not deserved your love, nor is necessary for you to answer to my unrequited love. all that I asked of you, is to be your friend, at your side to protect of you."

said Beau trembling nervously.

"thanks. at the moment I see you just like a friend, but I am thankful for your understanding. and for how much you care for me."

said Self-bet blushing and trembling nervously.

Zeus calls for the members of the next team "wet dreamers," to pass one by one. after they all passed. he calls for the members of the next team "morality&justice." soon is going to be their turn to go.

Beau knows that. jet he closes his eyes expecting that the time would stop. wishing for the time to stop for him. to not come in front of such intimidating Deities.

"I am afraid of what the future might be."

said Beau trembling and sweating.

"what can be so frightening for you to be in that state of mind?"

asked Self-bet curious.

"I have a feeling. things won't get better after this point. I don't know why or how, there is a feeling deep down screaming. things will get darker and twisted. at every second. I am afraid, that if I walk in front of those Deities. then there won't be a stop to the chaos that is to come. the darkness that covers us like a veil, covers a blind soul from the horrors of the world. before said soul jumps from a cliff. I, I want to scream. this bad omen I am feeling is not just fiction. I can feel it, I can feel that is a reality."

said Beau reflecting horror on his face with teary eyes.

"you are not Lord Golden Ass. who are you?"

said Self-Bet confused for what is going on.

Beau falls on the floor unconscious. Zeus calls for the members of Unit Zero to come out one by one. Don-Savage is the first one to walk towards Zeus. at first Don-Savage was walking feeling strong, but in front of the Gods. he started to feel fear. he closed his eyes before saying that he wants to be a Hero.

he goes back to his sit. then is the turn of Peace Inc who also picks the Hero category. Chicken Wrath walks towards the deities sure of what he wants to be, that is a Hero. finally the leader of Unit Zero walks in front of the Gods with a curious smirk. Beau wakes up on time, to see this epic moment that no one expected.

"good day Zeus and Hades. I know that I have to take a position in this battle between both of you. I am sure that many might suspect that I would take the role of Hero, but I had to deceive even the woman that I love. because the path of the Hero is long and unstable. truth to be told, I knew I had to choose since the moment I step inside...."

Federico takes a break.

"....there were moments in which I wasn't truly sure, of what I wanted to do or who I wanted to be. but I want my beloved Pandora to know, that I can't love her as a Hero. if it is not convenient. I had to be a Fallen Hero, even if I had to be hated by the woman that I love. so forgive me please, but I had taken a side."

said Federico with a firm voice.

Federico walks back to his sit. there is a moment of silence and confusion. in which no one expected for him to say those words nor to become a Fallen Hero.

Beau is nervous and confused as anyone can be. now is the turn of Self-Bet to go. she decides to be a Hero. Zeus calls the members of Bravo-Holly Mommy-One. the last team to choose a side.

"I don't even know what is happening. I do remember entering in here and saying some romantic words. but I don't remember the last words that I said before falling unconscious. everything seems to be so intriguing."

said Beau looking at Federico.

Joaquin walks in front of Zeus. he just said the word "hero." then he went back to his place. Alpha Purple Warrior walks in front of the gods. he also chooses to be a Hero.

then is the turn of Doctor Middle Finger, who also wants to be a Hero. Beau stands up. he walks slowly. everyone is looking at him the final contestant to take a side. he took the side of the Hero.

"this is the end of the ceremony. not all of you would received the "Gift" or "Curse" in seconds. it would take time for you to be chosen by a god. depending of the "Gift" the god wants to give you. it would take time to develop. don't lose hope, because only the strong would survived. if you are not strong, then you knew from the beginning that you were meant to die."

said Zeus with a huge smirk.

Zeus and Hades leave the coliseum. everyone walks out of it. some are talking about what is going to happen. others are quiet. some others are planning their next move now that they are officially Heroes or Fallen Heroes.

the members of Unit Zero were heart broken. feeling deeply the words that Federico said. they all are feeling his actions as actions of treason against them. a screen appears in front of them with the worst information at a wrong time.

the members of Unit Zero are awaiting for an explanation, from the man who has betrayed them. Beau is feeling strange. everyone goes to the Zeus' tower.

later that night Beau received a message of Hero Teacher, letting him know that he is okay. that he won't be able to play for some time. that was a long day. Beau was trying to sleep. but he couldn't, because there were many things on his mind.

one of those was the doubt of what the hell happen to him. in the ceremony all that he remembers is when he was talking with Self-bet about his feelings, but then he said something. he doesn't remember what he said or why.

in the meanwhile, on Pandora's temple. Federico is in front of Pandora. Richie is looking at them curious to know why they look so conflicted. Federico tries to get closer to Pandora. she tries to avoid him.

"I know, my words sounded foolish at the moment. and my actions seemed despicable, but I had no choice. I knew that risks of becoming an "Offering." I also know that a Hero has too many restrictions. I was worry for your safety. for the safety of the others, so I took the easy way. to make sure I would be able to protect, those who are important to me while getting my hands dirty."

yields Federico out of desperation.

"but, you could had asked me first. this is the problem with you, that "you" keep doing stupid things without telling me. and then you said it is for some sort of greater good, or you just invent so much bullshit. then I don't know what to believe. or what to think of the situation at hand. and no, what you are doing now isn't Heroic, but stupid."

yielded Pandora feeling disappointed for his actions.

"I am sorry darling. I swear I would do better. I really want to be a better person for you, but I keep failing. and now I had hurt you with my stupid actions. at least I want to remind you that I love you a lot. I tend to commit many foolish mistakes to protect those who I love deeply like you. let me show you how pure and honest my intentions are with a kiss, let me deliver my soul at your feet with a single kiss."

said Federico pretending to be sad.

"what? you were talking about how you didn't care if I hated you. now here I am listening to your no sense. and your initiative to kiss me right now of all times. why do I had to fall in love of such a brute, manipulative, and seductive man like you."

yields Pandora furious and happy at the same time.

"why not? I know I am a piece of work. what can a mortal like me do when I am closed to you. I want to protect you and then kiss your lips, to know the flavor of love. I want to know which is the taste of the havens, as I share my saliva with yours in a moment of instincts and wild desire. I know I am worst than a simple minded beast, but what can I do? if I see your lips. all I can think is if I kiss you, would time be stopped by our desire and love for each other? I know. I know that I sound like an imprudent and desperate beast. then all I can think about is the idea of kissing you. to learned the flavor of your lips by memorizing it."

said Federico in a seductive tone of voice.

"it is not working. not this time."

said Pandora blushing.

on the Zeus' tower; Zeus and The Ferryman are having a calm conversation with each other. the Ferryman is curious to know. why was he called by Zeus. when the last time they spoke. Zeus seemed to hate him.

now he seems friendly. the Ferryman isn't liking this. what he dislikes the most, is to be drag in between Hades and Zeus' family dramas. the Ferryman smiles and nods expecting for the conversation to end soon. it is obvious that Zeus is hiding something.

"I know I am not the most friendly guy so let's keep this simple. I love my brother. I do, but I also love winning which means, that I can't let him win. I want you to be my little spy, and I want you to report his actions and the actions of his Fallen Heroes."

said Zeus with a smile.

"that is wrong, if Hades finds out you know, what would happen to me? sorry but I can't betray Hades. in this game there is suppose to be a balance, also I am the Game Master. as the Game Master is wrong for me to take a side."

said the Ferryman trembling with fear.

"okay no need to be dramatic. if you don't want to do it, then you are welcome to leave."

said Zeus with honesty looking away.

the Ferryman leaves. Zeus is able to feel relief, because in reality Zeus never wanted the Ferryman to betray Hades. he wanted to see if the Ferryman was been bribed or if he was able to take a side.

now that he has found the answer. there is nothing to worry about, but he isn't happy with the results of the ceremony. of all the "Offerings" there were many that decided to be Fallen Heroes without any second thought.
