chapter 15: the zombie Heist part I

Beau, Joaquin, Leah, Federico, Chicken Wrath, and Don-Savage. those names are the names of those who decided to take part on the mission for chapter 15.

the new mission is something dangerous. it is something risky. they need to get inside of a huge building. they have to steal some documents that are on the 23rd floor. the problem is that on the building are many zombies. it is going to be risky.

Beau is getting ready. changes his clothing. puts on a blue phosphorescent tracksuit. Beau puts on a beret. he puts on sunglasses. he puts on some fancy looking boots. he is ready to go out there. he is ready to fight another day.

Joaquin is smoking. he is feeling so nervous. he isn't sure why, but he can feel it. he can feel that something is going to go wrong. even if that was the case, they have no other choice than to act. they have to continue.

Federico knows that he haven't been forgiven jet. he sees this as an opportunity. he has to help the others. he has to prove his worth. there are many things he has to do.

Leah, Chicken Wrath & Don-Savage are already on a car. they are waiting for the others. Chicken Wrath starts to tell really bad jokes. everyone else feels like in hell. there is probably no one on the world who can like those jokes. no one wants to admit it.

Chicken Wrath's jokes are like a game. his jokes go from lowest level to the highest. about level we are referring of how bad they can be. from kind of bad to super bad. Chicken Wrath always feels proud of his jokes. no one knows how can he do it.

Beau, Joaquin, and Federico are finally walking out of the base. the others feel relief. Chicken Wrath stops telling his super bad jokes. he smiles feeling great enjoyment.

Leah is driving the car. Beau is on the sit next to hers. he kisses her right hand. he also says nice things to her. Leah is trying to ignore that idiot while she drives. she can't deny that she really loves him.

Don-Savage is in a corner. he is looking at the street. he smiles thinking about his sister. she should be proud to know that he is helping. what will happen if he kills? would she accept it? or not.

Joaquin & Federico are sitting next to each other. they are silent. they prefer to not talk rather than fighting again. Joaquin is trying to control his anger. Federico tries to not give Joaquin another reason to be angry.

Chicken Wrath takes a magazine from his inventory. he starts to read it. he underlines things he wants to buy. the magazine is about gardening. everyone doubts the magazine can be useful. Chicken Wrath laughs in a sinister way.

Joaquin puts a cigar on his mouth. he is thinking about finding the traitor. he feels so much pressure for finding the mole. the worst part is that it can be anyone. anyone can be the traitor. he is having a hard time trusting on others.

"does anyone want to hear a joke?"

asks Chicken Wrath.

before long they arrived in front of the building. they all leave the car. Chicken Wrath keeps asking if they want a joke. Joaquin takes the role of the leader. he leads them inside of the building.

Federico is the last one to enter. he takes two guns out of his inventory. Federico makes sure that both guns are loaded. he puts some bullets on his pockets. he is ready to fight. it isn't clear what is to come. the future is an unsure thing.

Leah & Beau are walking holding hands. behind of them is Don-Savage. he is eating dark chocolate. he is drinking milk. he walks like if he wasn't on a dangerous place. the building from inside looks like an office space.

Joaquin puts a cigar on mouth. takes a machete out of his inventory. the blade of the machete is made of a special type of rock. it can break anything. Joaquin brags about taking a special mission to win the machete. it is one of a kind.

Don-Savage takes out a anti-gravity shotgun. he grins in a creepy way. he laughs like a psychopath loudly. Don-Savage brags about the mission he took to win the gun.

Beau takes out a chainsaw. the chainsaw is made with dragon's bones & teeth. Beau explains that his chainsaw is especial. he laughs loudly. it feels like if it was a competition to see who has the better weapons. so far they all are equally stupid.

Leah laughs on a cute way. she has being worry lately. it is good to feel some tranquility every once in a while. she looks at some zombies. she shoots at them on the head. the zombies fall dead.

they are just on the first floor. they know that on further floors there will be more danger. is even possible to find intelligent zombies. they are aware of the trap this mission is. the six of them entered in there knowing the dangers, aware of the risks.

Chicken Wrath walks with a sharp sword. he steps in front of the elevator. the elevator seems to be working. the doors open slowly. some zombies came out of it. Chicken Wrath fights six zombies. in seconds those zombies fall on pieces.

everyone enters inside the elevator. the doors close slowly. the elevator seems to be rusty and old. it moves slowly up. it makes strange noises. it even brings the question if it is right to use something so old.

"so I was wondering. how can be possible for you guys to have fancy weapons. I mean, who cares about who has the best weapon. it is just that.... you three took risky missions on purpose for a weapon."

said Chicken Wrath on protest.

"if you care to know. it wasn't so bad."

said Federico.

Federico is holding a whip with electricity. he puts it back to his inventory. Chicken Wrath seems to be the only one not taking special missions. the others are quiet. Federico is drinking a soda with apple flavor.

the elevator stops on the fourth floor. the doors of the elevator are opening. Joaquin gets out slowly. the others follow. some zombies were awaiting for them. they easily end those zombies.

the lightning is bad. there is some water on the floor. there are dead bodies around. there is something that seems suspicious. no one dares to say anything. there is this strange noise coming from a conference room. it is obvious what it is.

"I don't want to be 'that guy.' but I had to be, I have played enough games to say this. some crazy shit is about to happen. we may probably fight some BIG monster or zombie like monster. so guys take your best weapons out."

said Beau with confidence written on his face.

Leah is taking some guns out. she hides some knifes on her clothing. she is ready for anything to happen. she walks at Beau's side. holding a gun she touches Beau's hand. she looks at Beau. feeling joy she sighs.

some zombies come running at them. the zombies are making horrible noises. the footsteps of more zombies coming. that hallway is now a battlefield. every man in there has the strength to fight many battles.

the zombies in this building run faster than normal zombies. they are stronger. but after many battles the players have become stronger. the game has change them. to put it simple they had adapt to this world.

Don-Savage is the most brutal of them all. he destroys every zombie on his way. he kills one after another one. he is like a beast. he finally stops to drink some orange juice while he holds a zombie by the neck.

Federico shoots at zombies on the head. he only waste a bullet per zombie. he seems to be more bored than tired. it seems to be too easy for him to kill zombies. he is even reading a newspaper while shooting.

Beau takes out of his inventory the Zombie Bones Shield. everyone looks at it. they asks if it isn't the shield from that time on the beginning. Beau nods with a huge smile. the others asks why he didn't took it out before. he admits that he forgot about it.

tale mode on:

the office on which you had arrived used to be normal. it was like any other office. one day the Wrath of the Gods was as strong as an iron wall, it was felt after an earthquake. the employees of the office tried to leave. but there was something keeping them in.

a crying man appeared out of nowhere. he said to be a man who was killed by Zeus. he was looking for his lover. he was talking about how he went on a boat, and he never came back to her. he was worry for her safety. he was crying calling out for his lover.

the man said to be a king. to had anger the Gods. none of the office workers knew. they all just thought 'oh the man is crazy.' the man had wounds on his whole body. one of the employees touched him. the man's blood did an effect on the employee killing him.

the strange man was taken away. he was locked on a room. 30 minutes later the dead man came back to life. the other workers were at first happy. then the dead man started attacking his coworkers.

[end of the tale.]

"fuck. fuck. fuck. I had a good idea who we are dealing with. not a Demigod nor a Monster. it isn't anything like that. in normal circumstance we can easily kill him. fuck why did they made him too powerful for the game?"

said Federico feeling worry.

"how do you know about him?"

asks Joaquin out of curiosity.

"because he is Ceyx, a man from a love story on the Greek Mythology. I loved that story since I was a child. it is tragic, yes it is. but the love between the main two characters was so beautiful. I always dreamed about a romance like that one."

said Federico with teary eyes.

"I mean we don't have to deal with him directly. we only have to accomplish our mission. so as long as we avoid him. everything is going to be okay."

said Chicken Wrath feeling confident on them.

they keep killing some more zombies. after two hours they entered inside of a room. in there they rest. they take out of their inventory some food. they are eating quietly. there is no sound coming from outside. it means they have time to rest.

Don-Savage is looking at a picture of his sister. he feels bad knowing he killed her lover. how can he look at her on the eyes. what can he say once she asks about him. those are the things eating him from inside. the guilt is too much for him.

Don-Savage has killed real people on the real world before. he has taken many lives. this is one of the few times he felt guilt. he tried to kept that side of his life a secret. he never wished for his secret life to be revealed.

Beau & Leah are whispering to each other. there are tiny smiles coming from them. everyone else feels either envious or disgusted by their love. Federico is sad. he can't stop thinking about his lover. his precious Pandora.

on floor twenty.

a scary looking man is locked on a room. the man breathes on a disturbing way. he can feel the presence of the only living humans in there. he laughs hysterically & loudly. he cries as he remembers his past.

"my lover. my sweet, sweet lover. how much longer do I have to suffer for your absence. oh my lover, there is no day in which I can find peace on the world."

whispers the strange man.
