Romeo & Juliet

Four Hours Ago.

Cat-Girl is walking away from Dog-Boy. he runs after her. he tries to stop her. she looks back for a moment. then she keeps walking.

they are right now on the cafeteria. Cat-Girl opens a door. the next corridor is dark and so damn creepy. it doesn't look like a hospital anymore.

"I hurt you. I am afraid that our relationship won't ever be good. maybe we aren't meant to be. maybe I am actually doing you wrong by becoming a rock on your way."

"no, please stop. you love me. I love you. lets start over."

"deny thy father and refuse thy name. be but sworn my love and I'ill no longer be a Capulet. it is but thy name that is my enemy."

"I take this thy word. call me but love and I'ill be new baptized. henceforth I will never be Romeo."

"oh, you know Romeo and Juliet? I didn't know."

"it is your favorite play, your favorite movie. how can't I know, when I know everything about you. from the smallest details of your likes and kinks, to the most complicated aspects of your personality. I dated you, I was your friend."

"how could that be?"

"once you asked me, 'if love is so great, then why couples do break.' I answer by saying. because time proves their love false. unlike them, we will keep feeling a deeper and stronger emotion because our love is real. because these emotions are genuine."

Cat-Girl stops walking away. she turns around. she waits for Dog-Boy. he gets closer to her step by step. behind him are the others.

"the lovers are finally over with their drama."

said Joaquin with an annoyed facial expression.

Cat-Girl and Dog-Boy are facing each other. they cry. and then they admit their love for each other. they kiss. they forget about the world for a moment.

"I am Doug Hill. a pleasure to meet you. you can call me yours since now."

said Dug with a stupid smile.

"I, Katherine Smith. the pleasure is mine. you can call me your angel of love."

said Katherine laughing.

she takes a few steps backwards. she puts her left hand on her pockets. she is about to say something important. she takes out of her pockets a ring. she makes a marriage proposal to Doug out of nowhere. she is excited.

"do you want to be my husband."

"I do."

Doug sees tears of joy falling from her face. she can't believe she was accepted. Doug can't believe he has a fiancee. he feels like dreaming. he laughs like an idiot.

BANG.

a bullet hits Katherine on the neck. she starts bleeding a lot. she falls on her knees. another bullet hits her on the back. she falls on the floor. she is bleeding a lot. she smiles at Doug. her happiness didn't last long.

Doug is on shock. he looks around. he wants to scream. this has to be a nightmare. it is impossible that this is happening. it can't be. he then looks at his companions. he screams like a maniac. he yields out of frustration.

Doug can't even take a weapon. his mental state is too weak right now. then multiple gunshots are heard. Doug falls on his knees. he is bleeding from his stomach. he spits blood as he looks at Katherine.

there was a sniper with some other Fallen Heroes. the sniper was silently brutal. Cake Eater and Sec-End Cigar go back inside of the cafeteria. Joaquin turns around. he is shot on the back. he gets inside of the cafeteria. the wound isn't too bad.

they couldn't do shit. they left Katherine & Doug outside bleeding out. the sniper didn't shoot at them again on purpose. they were left like bait. if Joaquin tries to help he will be shot on the head. if he doesn't, they will die. the same goes for the other two guys.

Katherine is still breathing. she takes Doug's hand. she starts talking about things. she was afraid of dying. jet it was even more painful to see Doug suffering for her. Doug looks at his wound. it wasn't so bad.

Doug takes a gun out of his inventory. he shoots at the Fallen Heroes who get close. two, three, four, six of them fell dead. Doug tries to stand up. a bullet hits him on the left leg and then other bullet hits him on the right hand. Doug falls on the floor.

Doug looks at his fingers on the floor. he is bleeding too much. he feels dizzy. Doug drags himself as he pulls Katherine with his good hand. he looks up. his eyes and the eyes of the sniper meet.

when Doug sees those scary eyes, he knew. he is a mouse making tricks to make laugh that sinister evil. he is just playing the game the sniper wants him to play. Doug laughs out of desperation. he can't save Katherine, nor go against the sniper.

"is this how it will end? is this how our romance is meant to end?"

"isn't it romantic in some twisted way. just like Romeo & Juliet. two lovers dying together. at least on this way, no time nor other obstacles can get on our way."

Doug cried after listening to Katherine words. she was ready to die already. she had lost the strength to fight. and he isn't sure if he can even save himself.

another bullet hits Doug. this time it was on his left shoulder. Doug is losing all hope. he looks back. he looks at the others inside of the cafeteria. they can't save them either. maybe fate is a fan of tragedies. and now Doug and Katherine are part of fate's game.

Joaquin is annoyed for the sniper. they are too good. that fucker has an eagle eye and a damn fast finger. Joaquin opens the door. he throws a smoke grenade out. a bullet hits him on the hand. it didn't destroyed his hand, but it was left bleeding a lot.

Joaquin looks at the flesh hanging from his hand. he can even see some bones. Joaquin tries to look outside. there is smoke. he goes out walking fast. he takes Doug with his good hand. Cake Eater who was behind him grabs Katherine.

they run back inside with the couple. Joaquin closes the door. he looks at Doug. he seems more dead than alive. Doug is trying to say something. he can't speak. Joaquin tries to stop him. Doug tries even harder to speak.

"b-b-b-b...Bomb."

then a huge explosion throws them away.

Doug opens his eyes. he looks at all his wounds. he coughs blood. Doug cries covering his eyes with his left arm. it is too painful to cry. his eyes are on Katherine. she is as badly wounded as he is. none of them can move.

"hello gentlemen. we are here for the main show. now ladies and gentlemen the real fun starts now. you have ten minutes to run. after running we will go after you all. don't get us wrong. this isn't mercy, this is hunting time."

said a familiar voice.

Joaquin was on the floor. he seemed to be unconscious. he stands up. he walks limping towards the door. he looks at Rotto, Oblivious Soul-Rage, and the sniper. yes the sniper finally showed their face.

the sniper is a blonde girl with long hair. she has green eyes. she has pink glasses on. she is wearing a school uniform. she is about 1.72 cm tall. she walks away.

Joaquin stays inside of the cafeteria. falls on his knees. he has some internal damage. he falls on the floor. he stays in there breathing slowly. he can't move much now.

Cake Eater stands up. he has some small wounds. he has a small cut on his neck. he has a small burn on the face. he helps Sec-End Cigar to stand up. Cake Eater takes a weapon from the floor.

"we need to leave. we don't have the strength to fight now."

said Cake Eater breathing loudly.

"listen to me. I will stop them. I can't move much. neither can move my sweet Kate. we are going to hinder your escape...."

said Doug looking tired.

"....it saddens me to think our romance became one like Rome & Juliet. well the most memorable romances are like that. Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl, a tale about a tragic romance. the alley of the kisses. those all end with a tragic perfect couple."

said Doug to his girlfriend.

Doug caresses her face. she is still breathing. Doug kisses her forehead. he is ready for what is needed to be done. he takes a ring out of his inventory. he puts the ring on Katherine's ring finger. he regrets not giving her the ring before.

"do you know what you are talking about? that is suicide."

yields Joaquin feeling concern.

"just get the fuck out. let me have a final Heroic act."

said Doug on a playful tone of voice.

Joaquin, Cake Eater, and Sec-End Cigar leave.

Doug and Katherine are left alone. he hears the footsteps of the enemy getting closer, step by step they are closer to them. Doug takes out of his inventory dynamite. he has enough to blow up a whole town.

Katherine opens her eyes. she whispers something. Doug kisses her lips. she smiles. tears are falling from her eyes. it becomes harder for her to breathe.

"I love you, be my husband on our next life."

her final words.

she died on Doug's hands. he cries as he remembers the first time he saw her. he thinks about that night. the road. her angelic face on the road. the feeling on his heart. if he knew then how heartbreaking is loving her. he will make the same choices again.

"if there is an afterlife wait for me there, my angel of love."

Doug stands up trembling. he places the dynamite around of the cafeteria. he lights the fuse of the dynamite. he is sweating. he closes his eyes waiting for his own death. someone opens a door. there are armed men getting inside.

Oblivious Soul-Rage looks at the dynamite. he then looks at Doug. Rotto walks behind some henchmen. he sees the dynamite and he walks away. Doug opens his eyes. the dynamite explodes blowing up everything within a radius of twenty meters.

it goes without saying that, Doug and Oblivious Soul-Rage are gone. there is no body nor anything left from either of them. not far from there. between the debris is Rotto alive. he was badly burn by the explosion. he drags himself as he cries for help.

Joaquin, Cake Eater, and Sec-End Cigar. they were affected by the explosion. they had enough luck to not be hurt that much. only some small wounds.

[announcement: a Fallen Hero Leader has fallen. there is one Fallen Hero Leader left. kill him and end the Duel.]

Rotto opens his eyes. the sniper lady is pulling him from his legs. she is taking him to a safer place right now. she seems to be the only Fallen Hero who survived with him. she is his subordinate. she is a lone wolf who mostly hates everyone.

"t-thanks for saving me."

"don't get me wrong. I am only stopping your life from ending because that is what I was payed to do."

"you are making me feel pathetic."

"am I? or are you already."

that day a couple died. they had a tragic end. they may be remember as Heroes or idiots or they will be forgotten like those who die inside the game. they didn't had to die on such a brutal way. but that is how this world is.

brutal is just another word to describe the life on this world. brutality becomes another word after living in this world for long time. some good people, some bad people die. it doesn't matter if you are good or evil. if you are smart or stupid. on the end of the day only those who are lucky or can adapt, only them can live to tell the tale.

Actual Time.

Beau and Leah are walking by themselves. Organic Florist is following them. a rope wasn't strong enough to stop him. the others aren't capable of stopping him now. Beau and Leah's last choice was to run away from him.

for some reason Organic Florist is only going after the couple. he is only going after her. Organic Florist takes a jar of wine out of his inventory. he makes a sickle with the wine. Organic Florist yields warning Beau. he tells him to stop.

Beau takes Leah's hand. he kisses her hand. winks at her. Beau makes Leah smile for a brief moment. they only need to endure some hours. it is going to be alright. everything will be fine. Beau loves his future bride.

Beau's heart is beating fast. he then feels a small pain on his leg. he sees a small cut. he looks back at Organic Florist. the more time passes, the more clear it becomes. Organic Florist has already lose his mind. or something worst.

"she is a danger that needs to be put down. I am the Hero of this story."

Leah is genuinely scare of him. Beau tries to comfort her. Beau stops running. he turns around ready to fight. Organic Florist asks him nicely to move away.

"please don't do this man. move away and let me do the talking with my sickle."

"that doesn't sound safe, she and I prefer another type of not safe for work."

Organic Florist turns his sickle into a shield. he awaits for Beau to take out his shield. they are now face to face. a confrontation seems inevitable. friend vs friend. Hero vs Hero. human vs human.

Organic Florist knows that he is putting his own self on risk by attacking. he is on danger of becoming a Fallen Hero. killing or attacking another Hero is forbidden. right now he is walking on thin ice by refusing to give up.

many may ask, why is he putting so much on the line? what is the purpose of his actions? is he truly a traitor? or is there something else that isn't clear. the big picture wasn't shown jet. but sooner than later we will find out.

Beau feels anxious as he tries to protect his lover, and at the same time he wants to avoid a lethal battle against a friend. it is a living hell for him. this whole scenario is pure torture to him. but he has no other choice.
