Independence Day Event part III

Ludwig Van Chopin, Goldy-Shot, Bird-E, Rotto Mentalita, and Man with no Face are on a team together. they are taking part on one of the many Event's missions.

the location on which they are is interesting. they don't have to fight nor anything alike. they have a really simple thing to do. they have to burn the boxes of tea on a ship. now they have to act without being seen. if they ever get caught then the mission is over.

not too big, not too small. now the members taking part on the mission are all good. no, they are better than that. they are perfect for a task like this one. they all are professionals of their own field.

Man with no Face wanted to stay hidden. jet some guys on his guild are acting strange. there are people who are starting to have doubts of his leadership, or his stability. after this job is done he will go back to the shadows. his curse keeps warning him.

Man with no Face is even thinking about cutting some loose ties, some pawns. in the world on which he works he can't be careful enough. a mistake can lead to death. a single false step is lethal. now he can feel it, a bony figure on the distance.

Rotto is right now sane. he has become something more of a liability. the reason he is still alive right now can be a mystery. but he is still a bit useful for some of them. Rotto doesn't care about his worth. he smiles joyful to be alive.

Bird-E is a man with hidden secrets. his secrets grow deep on earth, like the roots of a tree grow so deep within earth, so deep that become hard to pull out. Bird-E is a man of many masks, a man of many secrets. a wolf on human clothing.

Goldy-Shot is a curious character. at first sight she seems to not fit with the others. but maybe she is the one who fits the better on this world, on this circle of darkness. there is so much more to her than just a past. there is more than her skills.

Ludwig Van Chopin seems to be a simple person, his persona isn't that shiny. jet don't mistake the first impression for his identity. like most, there is always more to his tale, more to his story. there is always a past, a hidden true self, and emotions.

they all are using disguises. they try to look 'normal.' the location on which they are is a small town close to the port. they all are careful with their movements. they really want the winning reward. they won't give up on this task, even if it is just an event.

Man with no Face seems to be serious. he doesn't show much facial expression. he is careful of not being seen as weak, or vulnerable. we walks around with this man of steel persona that he adopted to survive. inside are insecurities, fears, and doubts.

Rotto starts to laugh for no reason. he is surprise by his own laughter. he puts his hands on his mouth. he tries to cover his voice. he tries to contain the laughter. he steps away from the others to not bring any trouble to them. he keeps walking away.

Bird-E looks at the people around of him. he feels like he is a stranger. he has become a stranger to himself. he has become a phantom of what he used to be. there are people who can be disappointed on him. he has crossed some lines.

Ludwig Van Chopin puts a cigar on his mouth. he doesn't smoke, he is just biting it. he bites the cigar to feel less anxious and more relax. he is sweating a bit. he is looking at every NPC around of the town. he feels better as they are closer to the exit of the town.

Goldy-Shot has no problem. she isn't worry nor anxious. she has her riffle on her inventory ready to be use. with her gun she fears nothing. all she needs is a weapon on her hands to know that everything will end well. there is nothing to be anxious about.

some NPCs are looking at them. they start to get closer to them slowly. some are about to take out their weapons. then there is an explosion. while the NPCs are distracted, the villains try to escape. they hide.

Goldy-Shot climbs a building. the shadows of the night are covering her. she gets to the roof of the building. she gets her riffle out. she starts to shoot at random NPCs. every shot is a head shot. the NPCs are on panic.

while Goldy-Shot and Rotto Mentalita are creating chaos. the rest of them keep moving. they go to the port. each of them has explosives with them. Man with no Face, Bird-E, and Ludwig Van Chopin are ready. nothing has gone wrong so far.

a mission based on an event from the past. a simple thing to do. a clear and clean mission was given. a few steps more and it will be over soon. no one can predict what will happen later. the outcome depends of their luck.

Rotto Mentalita walks around of the streets. he is holding a shotgun. he shoots at everything that moves. he runs out of bullets. he throws the shotgun away. he takes two small pistols out as he keeps shooting. some NPCs try to surround him.

Rotto screams. he is losing his sanity. some NPCs are scare of him. they shoot back. Rotto doesn't seem to care. a bullet hits him on an arm. he only laughs like crazy. he is a monster on their eyes. he is a beast from the underworld.

Rotto used to be a coward. he wasn't able to hold a gun properly. after the fall of the first drop of blood, he used to run away with a tail between his legs. some therapy on the hands of some psychos, that is all it took for him to become a wild being.

Rotto can't concentrate. the pain on his head is too much. he feels like his head is going to split on half. he falls on his knees. he screams as he shoots at random. he can't even open his own eyes. the pain is too much.

Goldy-Shot makes sure to keep Rotto alive. anyone who gets too close gets a bullet. Goldy-Shot isn't a friendly person, nor cares about others. she is only doing her job. keeping idiots alive isn't easy, but it is part of the job.

Goldy-Shot loads her riffle. no one has found out her location jet. she is focus on doing her own thing. after every shot she takes, her only concern is if she has enough bullets. all the mortals and NPCs are too weak. they break easily.

the only time Goldy-Shot was surprise, it was on the Duel. she was shocked when she saw how Dog-Boy resisted all the pain. he took many bullets without giving up. his body broke in seconds. jet his fighting spirit was unbreakable, until the end.

it will take time for Goldy-Shot to ever see anyone like that. someone who can resist. her only skill is to shoot. for a sniper breaking bodies like toys has to be their pride. jet for her it is too boring. she wants to have a real challenge.

on the port Bird-E is walking. he puts a mask on. some NPCs try to stop him. he looks strange to them. they asks questions. Bird-E answers on a slow and peaceful tone. the NPCs leave him alone.

Bird-E feels more like himself with a mask on. it makes him feel more real, closer towards his own identity. he feels like a ghost without the mask. he becomes a false version of himself. the mask gives a face to his emotions.

Bird-E has a past like everyone else. he has things he left incomplete. there are things he wished he has done different. there are times he regrets things he did, or didn't do. there are many things on his heart. things stopping him from being happy.

he betrayed those who were his friends. he betrayed those who trusted on him. he has fought on more than one side. he has enemies and allies in all sides. he is a man walking on mines at every step he takes. a man fighting an eternal battle.

few steps ahead of Bird-E is Ludwig Van Chopin. he is dancing and whistling. he steps in front of the ship. he gets inside with no struggle. some British soldiers question him. Ludwig uses sympathy on his favor. they let him in.

Ludwig takes some explosives out of his inventory. he leaves them on top of tea boxes. Ludwig steals a box full of tea. he may drink it later. he then leaves the ship. he looks back waiting for the big explosion.

the whole ship explodes. the explosion pushed Ludwig against a small boat. Ludwig tries to stand up. he broke some bones. he has struggle breathing. a NPC helps him to stand up and even takes him to a hospital.

Ludwig looks back. the ship is on pieces and is on fire. Ludwig smiles feeling proud. the pain he feels is too much. he is thinking about taking a break.

[announcement: five hours left to finish the mission.]

Ludwig talks with the NPC. he asks about sports. Ludwig talks about famous painters.

Man with no Face is inside a ship. he puts some explosives. he walks away. some NPCs try to stop him. he breaks the neck of one. he stabs the other one. the ship explodes. then Man with no Face goes to the next ship.

Man with no Face leaves explosives inside. then he goes to the next ship. he leaves explosives inside. when he gets out of the ship. both ships explode at the same time. there is only one ship left.

Man with no Face is surrounded by soldiers. they all are pointing their guns at him. Man with no Face smiles. he can be paranoid at times, but there are times on which he can be truly terrifying like now. he can be a vicious beast.

Man with no Face puts both of his hands behind his head. a smile on his sinister face. he kneels slowly. one of the soldiers falls dead. then the rest keep falling dead. the last one standing is confuse. he turns around. a bullet hits him on the head. he falls dead.

Man with no Face is gone before more soldiers can come. he went to get Ludwig. Man with no Face may suspect of anyone. he doesn't trust on others. but he won't ever leave an ally behind.

Goldy-Shot puts her riffle inside of her inventory. she gets a bazooka out. she aims at a ship and shoots. the ship explodes.

Rotto Mentalita, Bird-E and Ludwig Van Chopin are waiting for the rest of the team. Ludwig is drinking tea. he adds sugar to his tea.

Goldy-Shot and Man with no Face get inside. they seem to be tire and bored. Man with no Face falls on his knees. he screams as he has a vision. the oracle is a great, a powerful, and scary curse. it is a horrible curse.

"did you had another of your visions?"

"I saw the death of many others. a big act of chaos will be created. those who don't hide will die. I am not the only one who knows about this. you also know. don't you?"

Bird-E looks quietly at Man with no Face. he chose silence as his answer. there is nothing to say to someone who can see the future. no excuse is enough justification.

Man with no Face, Rotto Mentalita, Bird-E, Ludwig Van Chopin, and Goldy-Shot leave. the five of them are part of the same guild. they work together. but they aren't together. every man is by himself. not all mortals are meant to get closer to other mortals. some mortals work better when they are alone.
