Chapter 10: The Hidden Character
I yawn and stretch my arms.I look outside the window to see that the weather was good.
I take a look for another minutes before going to the bathroom
I taked a bath and wear my uniform,my brother and I take the same carriage as usual.
I sat there and look outside the window.After we arrived we parted ways and he reminded me things again before walking away.
I take my sit and the class hasn't begun yet so my mind drifted
when the teacher came at the door,he was talking to someone,and she is polite so I assume the person must be a high rank student
The person walk inside,and slowly my eyes widen.So that's why he said 'see you soon',It was too soon!
His eyes wonders and it stops at me.His pair of heterochromia eyes sparkled and he smiled.
"dear students starting today,Prince Lucas Alesander Vanidestine will be in our class,also at afternoon an exchanged student from another kingdom will be here so all students will welcome him later as a sign of respect to their kingdom"
Several students glance at his direction,as he walk to his seat.Curious,surprised and mockery are written on their faces
but he paid them no attention as he continue to smiled at me

We gathered at the entrance of school as we'll welcome the exchanged student from another kingdom
I let out a bitter laugh as I realized how hypocrite they are.Our own prince(Lucas) didnt have this grand welcome yet they are willing to go this far just for another kingdom.
As we wait for long,the carriage finally arrived.Slowly the exchanged student walk,I assume he's a noble,a prince to be exact,with so many imperial guards with him and I also noticed his outfit,it has a dragon logo on it meaning he was from Drache kingdom.
"Nazaren Lawlet Windsor,The second prince of Drache kingdom"
my eyes widen at realization.bingo!
The first hidden character.In the future he will be known as the Sun prince because of his bright and kind personality also because of his pair of golden eyes that runs in their royal family bloodlines.
He was attached to the heroine because of her bubbly personality.I really dont know his true attitude because the book only portrayed him as a kind and caring person although I dont know if that's the case or its just a facade only for the female lead.I also dont know what happened to him later on.
Finally,the hidden characters are all finally revealed
Lucas Alesander and Nazaren Lawlet.They have a bit similar personalities but in the story Lucas stayed hidden,he low-key protected the female lead until the end
while Nazaren stayed as the female lead's friend
And also you can see the difference in the treatments between the two of them.

Lucas is a bit talkative and playful,he kept talking while we were walking back at the classroom.
"pft what did you do then?"I asked
"I stole her gold coins!"he said that makes me laugh hard
He was talking about his maid that was lazy and rude.Although he's a prince he was neglected as he was an illegitimate and he has no backer at the palace.
"I relied on myself on everything"
It makes me sad,what's the use of being a prince if he's not treated as one?
"Because you're my friend,I'll share you a secret"
My mouth twitched.Friend really?why didnt I know that?
he lean and whispered on me
"The queen killed the empress"
My eyes widen as realization also hits me
"and you know what's funny?"he asked,while I was still stunned frozen
"The emperor knows it"
And just like that,I unraveled another mystery.It was not written on the book,and I was starting to doubt if the future happenings was still according to the book.
(A/N hehe: Of course the plot are totally not the same anymore,because of an unbalance force--and this force is the crown prince beacuse of his rebirth:)
"The emperor is wicked"he gritted his teeth as he said that
"he killed my mother infront of me"
once again my eyes widen,what's with this revelation
too much!
"It was painful,it keep flashing on my mind eversince"he chuckled
"but what can I do?"he asked
"I can only endure it"he continued
slowly,I realized that we all have pasts that we wanted to forget yet still haunted us even in our dreams.
It cannot be changed, forgotten, edited or erased We can only accept it and moved forward.
We can't correct our past mistakes either,but it will serve as a lesson so we cannot repeat the same wrong doings in the future.
Maybe he noticed my gaze so he stop
"dont pity me,I only told this to you because I trust you,you are not like the others,you have clear eyes and pure soul"
"eh?is that a compliment?"I asked that made him laugh
"Pft,it is"
"well,thanks?"After that we both laugh as we walk back to our classroom
Im glad I made a friend and Im really glad that it was Lucas
...
At lunch,we ate at the cafeteria together with Emily.We became friend a longtime ago.
She is still shy and modest,so I don't know what triggered her bad persona in the book.
Lucas and Emily are both precious so Im willing to protect them both for the sake of our friendship.
