Track Food Source Yes or No
Staring at the writing before him Ace scratched his head. "Should I continue to go east or follow my nose wherever it goes." He thought tapping his feet on the mossy floor. Taking in a deep breath he weighed up each option with the way it made him feel. "Guess I'm following my nose. Hopefully, I will be able to run in to a town or something."
Making his decision with a whiff of the air a green arrow appeared revealing the way to go. Sprinting through the jungle leaves crunched underneath his feet as he bounced, flipped and maneuvered off every object in his path.
~Village Kedo~
Breaking through to a clearing a little larger than a high school Ace was greeted by an orange light. Gawking at the devastation only wind and flames truly survive whatever had taking place earlier. Sniffing the air, the scent of food hovered over the entire village. Strolling over to a clay building saliva rolled down pass his teeth onto the dusty earth.
Shift Activated. Transition into his Were-Tasmanian form Ace commenced to flicking stones and boulders out of the way clearing a path to the first morsel he had found in the last two days. Which was surprising due to the high volume of animals moving around the forest. Even now birds of prey circled the air above him, diving and picking at whatever they could scavenge.
"Heyyyy!"
Jerking his head from his current objective Ace scanned the area until he laid eyes upon a uni-horned lizard-like creature wearing red fur with orange spikes sticking out of it.
Name Mariah Genus Chisapho
Running up to Ace, Mariah smiled showing her jagged teeth. "Did you live here?" She asked.
"No. I actually just showed up a few minutes ago. I am only here for the food and loot then I am kicking the boot."
"What about the people that lives here?"
Looking around Ace stretched his arms out. "What people this place has been destroyed. I'm talking about back in the day when people use to pillage and ransack whole towns and cities."
Nodding her head Mariah replied. "That does make since plus that man did say that they almost let someone get away." Bouncing her head up and down she said. "He was talking about me of course." Surveying the debris, a thought came to her mind. "That means that some if not everything here belongs to me."
"Woah now I was here first. You can't just go making claims now." Remarked Ace tossing rubble to the side.
"But I'm obviously the rightful heir according to the game." Shrugging her shoulders Mariah said. "I'm feeling generous though take whatever you like." Stretching out her arms she spun. "Mi casa es tu casa." Turning around to search for the first ruin she was going to dig up she glimpsed over at Ace with a smile. "Don't leave me now."
Watching Mariah skip away happily Ace shook his head. "She seems like she will be a lot of fun." He muttered to himself steadily digging for his prize. Tup, tup, doop. Glancing down at a stone that wriggled its way next to his foot Ace stepped away from the pile debris as the rest of it begun to shake.
"Ahhhh!" Shouted a man bursting from the rubble. Rotating his robot arms the human stretched his neck inside of the glass dome he wore for a helmet. Loosening up the rest of the joints in his suit the man laughed. "Nothing can stop me. Not the illustrious Kravin slayer of all souls inhuman."
Observing his latest guest Ace gazed up at the red bar above his head. Rubbing his head, he sighed. "Couldn't he had waited till after I ate."
Turning his attention over to his unexpected guest Kravin smiled menacingly flexing plier like claws on his left arm. "Well, hello there, little critter." He said bending over. "How would you like to end your life quickly or slowly. Slowly!" He answered not allowing Ace to speak. "Then torture it is." Eyes widening the human stepped off the pile of rubble. "Look at those canines. Yes, that is it. I will mount you on my wall." Boom! Head rattling Kravin staggered to the right before turning around.
Boom! Hitting the human with a light pole Mariah dropped her weapon then charged in. Lifting his upper body Kravin claw hand whirred out around before unleashing a beam of energy. Diving to avoid the beam, Mariah somersaulted to her feet then squeezed inside a trench, dodging flaming projectiles.
Summoning Chow, Ace and his pet went on the attack. Slapping his aggressor with the regular hand of his exoskeleton the human stretched out his left claw in attempt to crush the life out of the Chowmin. Bouncing pass the attack Chow rammed into Kravin knocking him down before he could fully get up.
Firing a beam Kravin tried to scramble to his feet but Mariah leaped off the building his back faced slamming a stone slab into the poly glass helmet protecting his head. Rolling onto her feet Mariah hurled a second slab at her foe. Boosch! Firing a beam at the stone Kravin could not react fast enough to block his opponents kick as she came flying through the dust.
Leaping on the back of the staggering human Ace jaws stretched, wide as it would go. Taking a snap out of the hose connected to the mans suit he thrust his bone sword into the hole created. "Ack." Coughing up blood Kravin upper half twisted a full one eighty degrees allowing him to backhand his adversary.
Slamming into a brick wall Ace Hp dropped down to three. Using two of his stores he smiled at his new status. HP 23/35. Glancing over at his foe who was being kept distracted by Chow, Ace noticed that his health continuously dropped even without his pet ramming into him.
"Why don't you be still!" Kravin shouted in annoyance slamming his fist into the ground repeatedly instead of hitting his target. Running circles around his prey, Chow instinctively knew that staying in close range was of benefit for it allowed him to easily avoid the slow but heavy attacks. Bink! Bink! Bink! Glimpsing over at Mariah Kravin snarled from the rocks pelting his helmet.
Swiping at Chow with a blade of energy that projected from his wrist the human was able to wound the unexpected creature but not enough to keep it from attacking. Glancing from one side to the next Kravin, now had three opponents and little life to spare. Initiating his rocket boots, he shakily rose into the sky.
"Like I'm going to let you get away." Ace whispered to himself sprinting towards his adversary. Scanning the layout before him as he ran Ace leaped off a clay beam grabbing hold to a stair rail, pulling himself up. Following the stairs to their end he cut left through a hole in the wall flipping over a motionless robot suit like Kravin's. Taking a deep breath Ace jumped on top a table then bounded out of the glassless window.
"Ughh!" Kravin grunted from his suit wobbling from the extra weight displaced on it. Reaching for his opponent canines sunk into his arm. Kawish. Stiffening up from Ace's blade puncturing his soft, squishy skin. Yanking his opponent off his back the human smiled crookedly. In a raise of his claw werrrrn peechewem, a blue beam of energy rushed out thrusting itself upon Ace driving him backwards.
Stretching as he woke up out his sleep Ace rolled over mumbling. "Didn't have to kill me."
Allowing her eyes to slide over to the new shape before her Mariah shook her head. "Thought I lost you there for a minute."
"Naw just woke up for a second you know what I'm saying had to pee."
"Had to pee or had to leave I saw your HP when I tried to catch you."
"Alright you caught me. Every devil has to die sometimes, but when he comes back." Looking from the left to the right Ace nodded his head. "It's in flames."
Laughing Mariah gazed up at Ace in an almost shy way. "Better hope it aint raining the day you come back."
Shaking his finger Ace bobbed his head. "We got jokes."
"I'm just saying, that's all. So what's our next move?"
"You should tell me since you're just saying."
