Chapter 23: Cousin

These days yuri doesn't spend much time with others. He always want to be with Edythe. So, edy made him go on a trip with joe. So, she could go shopping with Alice.

Yuri was feeling fun with joe and Emma. They're getting along nice. Are reaching the la push beach. Three of us was walking in the beach and chatting.

A black short haired guy and a silver haired girl was coming out of forest to the beach. Emma seemed like to know her. So she called the guy towards us.

When they came a little closer a could smell them. They were like werewolf but a little different and the silver haired girl smelled like my mother. Something inside me was telling me that I am was related to her.

" Hey Jacob, how are you? And who is this your new friend? Me and my friend came to visit the beach."

Emma then introduced us to them. The black guy was jacob black and the silver girl was Nadia Starrk. The moment Yuri heard her name. He felt a shock cuz his mother name was Joanna Starrk and i got my silver hair from her.

It couldn't be all a coincidence. Because my mother's surname and hair colour matches nadia. My mother once said she had family in amarica who she left to be with father.

"Hey, what's your mother's name?"

Everyone looked shocked by the question Nadia asked yuri. Yuri replied " My mother name was Joanna Starrk and she died in car crash few years ago."

Suddenly Nadia cried and hugged yuri saying " Cousin, i thought lost all my family. But you're still alive. "

Emma, jacob and joe was now dumbfounded by the situation. Then sat at a bench then explained everything. That nadia's father had a sister named joanna Starrk and she left her family to live with her lover.

Joseph used his telepathy and found that she was not lying. He could found that they smell a little alike each other.

Yuri also seemed to believe her. Then we left the la push to talk at a quiet place. Yuri knew i liked and believed Emma. so, we took her and Nadia Started to explain her family and her situation.

We believe there because we were supernatural ourselves. But it was litte hard for emma. But she didn't say anything. After hearing everything Yuri said " Nadia you are my last remaining family and I will do everything in power to help you."

" Yes if you are Yuri's family then you are my family. You have nothing to worry about. We will protect you with our lives" joe really meant what he said. Cuz yuri and i are life and Death brother. Yori offered her that she could live with us.

Nadia still decided which was better for her to live with them shape-shifters than vampire. We also thought it was better that way.

What a day I thought. Then jacob and Nadia went to their house. And i dropped off Emma at her house. Today she also heard our story. How I and yuri became like this.

She would know one day if she stayed with us. So it doesn't matter and she is also a blessed one. So you can say we are same. I know she wouldn't reveal our secret.
