She arrived at Lankot, trying to be brave until Leo, her trusted friend and Day her trusted partner (No spoilers) discovers, she is not what she seems... she must face difficulties to unite the Marshalls and unite the world, she must save Her branch from fire.... but she won't be alone....but... Uh are a few teenagers enough to save humanity? How about yes? A big yes!



We stopped checking for monsters under our bed, when we realized they were inside us.....



BTW the first few chapters are chiidish as I want to imitate Hazel as when she wasn't experienced and form chapter 15 she starts to get more mature and she writes more good, so basically read as if Hazel herself is recounting her journeys and her life...THNKS FOR READING*

Hazel Marshall

Hazel woke up in time to see the sun setting, everyone was already up except her, she blushed thinking that she was the last to wake up, Leo who saw that smiled and said 'It's okay, the others didn't wanna wake you....you have bags under your eyes, means you haven't been sleeping well lately'


'I'm okay, I think we should start' She told the others and they again started their journey, they walked for 4 hours before anyone spoke 


'The woman said their would be obstacles, but there is only dust' he said, kicking the ground to prove his point, Hazel answered 'Don't, never say we are safe or nothing's happening, you will be jinxed'


Leo laughed loudly, his laugh died when a building came into their view, it was really far away but from this distance, you could see that it wasn't in good shape, but the thing that made them stop cold was not the building, it was the small army disappearing in the dust. They couldn't tell who they were, or if they were aged like themselves, but the human like figures were quite easy to see, the last of them disappeared and Leo got out from his daze 'Hell no! she said we were alone.....Hazel?!!'


Hazel looked at him, For the first time Leo saw her worried expression, his questions died as he saw that she quickly composed herself and looked at the others 'well, now we know that we are not alone in this place, I think we should be more careful, don't  make huge fires, and remove any traces that we stayed at a certain place, for now we don't know if they are friendly or deadly, but I doubt anyone is friendly here...and we should check out that building, it's obviously important'


The others nodded their approval, she looked at Leo ' do you agree?' she asked.


He nodded in a daze and all of them started walking, but leo came at last, he was in a daze, because for the first time, he saw her vulnerable state, which told him her life has not been normal and the mob was also not a normal one. He looked at her back.


'Who are you?" he muttered as he tried to figure her out, she was obviously very good at hiding her emotions, bit it didn't bode well with him, it meant her life had obstacles, obstacles which were very hard to overcome and now she was given the job of delivering 96 children across the vast desert.


But at that time Leo made a promise to never leave her alone and always stand by her side, he had lost her sister when she was 6, her name was anna, something in Hazel reminded him of his sister, he smiled ruefully as he remembered his sitter, she also had hazel eyes and pale skin, he sighed 'I lost her, I can't lose you too'

After 2 and a half night of walking they arrived at the building, it emitted sinister waves. But they also hoped to find something useful inside.


The inside of the building was dusty, the whole building had an inside side balcony on four side, there were 2 places to access them, they gathered in the middel when Hazel saw a holographic device 'She wants to talk to us, the woman this is obviously hers' she pressed the button and a full screen live video came at the left side of the building.


The woman was now wearing full black clothes, she smiled at the sight of the exhausted children.


Then she again started speaking a long speech which suspiciously made hazel think that she had written it down and memorized it
