Mind Games

There were a few seconds of silence.

Thyme looked her dead in the eye, and walked a few steps closer to her, she didn't move, she just kept her gaze steadily at his's.

'You will lose' He growled.

Hazel just smiled, 'I won't lose alone, Now Thyme, I give you a choice, join us'

Thyme scoffed, 'Something I spent years to build, you are saying I should destroy it for a mere girl'

'You can change'

'Tell me, did Andrew change?' Thyme stabbed.

'He did'

'Oh really?'

'He did, he realized his mistake'

'Hmm, Did he? Or he showed you he changed because you are the only one he has left'

Hazel kept silent at this.

Thyme laughed.

'You don't even know yourself, Hazel, you don't even know who is your and who isn't, anyways enough talk, now that you won't join us, it would be good to just kill the last of the marshalls, once that happens, no one would oppose us and we will be victorious, I still marvel the face you didn't see through our trap, like aren't the Marshalla supposed to have brains?'

Hazel tilted her head at him.

'Who said I didn't see through you trap?'

And the building blew up.
