Checkpoint Regression

I died a useless death. I know— classic. I was betrayed, tortured, beheaded, the full package.
Only at death did I feel hatred. I was angry not only at the bastards that killed me, but also at myself. For being meek, spineless. A coward, waiting for someone to save me.
Regret, when your head is about to roll, is a joke.
But regression? Now that was unexpected.
A second chance. Maybe mercy from above?
My name doesn’t matter at this point. What matters is what I’ve become.
Gift or misfortune, I will use it to the fullest. Growing only stronger.
Revenge is much sweeter than honey after all.
I will not forget the past, but use it as my weapon. Sharp. Piercing. A pain that won’t subside.
I will be the one to shape my fate. I will be the one to take my life back.
The fire that was lit? It’s eternal now. Burning ever so bright.
And the lucky ones, who get to watch me slowly burn them in their own agony?
My “family”, of course.

The writing is amazing with characters that are intriguing and mysterious backgrounds that open up to a lot of plots, the story development is at its own pace consistently made to cater to everyone, not too slow, not too fast. The World building is interesting and the plot grows with every chapter, sadly there are only a couple of chapters. I would have loved to read more.

fast paced, and well written first chapters, definitely has a promising future, would love to continue on as the story progresses, even for a regression novel is pretty good :))
It's actually good so far (two chapters) could use improvement on the grammar but I like where this is going as a regression story

Writing gets interesting as you start to read the book. The author's writing style is good. I hope everyone gives this book a try.
