Unbeknownst to humans, there are two worlds: The Real World, and the Underworld called the Purple Sea. Uriel, a self-proclaimed book addict was just reading by the fountain, unaware of how late it was. It was April 27. At exactly 11:27pm, a full moon occurred and the water at the fountain turned purple, a sign that the portal to the Purple Sea has been opened. It swallowed him down, way down into the Underworld. When he came back to the Real World, he was different. He had Aquakinesis, the power to manipulate water. But not only that, he also became King of the Purple Sea.

My Accidental Power

The extreme pain that Princess Nicolette had to endure during the transformation looked as painful as giving birth. Not that I know or have seen anything like that in real life, but that's just how it seemed in the movies or television. Or maybe I'm just exaggerating because I'm not used to seeing her like that – weak and hurting. It pains me a lot when I see her struggling.


She slept on my lap, looking so fragile in a fetal position, with the Frozen blanket wrapped around her. When she woke up, I felt relieved. The first thing she wanted to do was put her sandals on, so I did. Then, I fixed her hair a little with my fingers because she looked more exhausted with such tangled hair. She didn't seem to have regained her full strength because her face was still pale, and she still wasn't talking much.
