Chapter 33: The Wedding

Two months have passed since the couple have learned about Yuki's pregnancy. Since then, Yuki's belly was bulging more as time went by. Ryohei's symptoms have calmed down, which relieved both of them too much. At his fifth month of pregnancy, Yuki has already suffered back pain and fatigue. Ryohei would massage him every night before they went to sleep.

For the entire two months, Ryohei never had sex with Yuki. They obeyed to Yamato's advice to be extra careful in this first experience. It was his first time handling a pregnant Omega too, therefore he would work on making it possible.

On Christmas eve, they registered themselves as husbands - or according to their respective secondary gender, they were officially husband and wife. By having Yamato as their witness, they have bound their lives for each other, promising their heart and soul to love the other party wholeheartedly, unconditionally.

Even as their personal doctor, Yamato could not help but to shed tears. It was meaningfully bright. Ryohei and Yuki seemed so perfectly matching even though Yuki was blind. Their first encounter was not pleasant, yet from the incident, Ryohei has gradually developed his feeling towards an Omega named Yuki. Yuki did find himself the best lover in the world.

"Congratulations, Yuki, Ryohei!"

The lovers sparkled even brighter. They were in their truest contentment. Yuki timidly blushed, and Ryohei at his side kept on squeezing Yuki's hand. The sweetness filled the atmosphere - even Yamato was lured by the delight.

"Thank you for supporting us, doctor," Yuki lowered his head, evading from letting Yamato seeing his face, "We're sorry that we took a day off today from your research."

The day they were getting married was supposedly Yuki's fifth month check up. However, Yamato encouraged them to tie the most important bond in one's life - marriage. Even though it could be done later or after Yuki has given birth, Yamato insisted on performing it sooner.

"Both of you have your righteous happiness too," Yamato enveloped them in his arms. "Happy wedding, Yuki, Ryohei."

Ryohei and Yuki were his special subjects. Even if they were not agreeing to his suggestion, Yamato would still treat them like siblings.

"Please treasure him as much as you could, Ryohei," Yamato patted on Ryohei's shoulder as he broke the hug, "Women sacrifice a lot in giving birth, and from the examination, Yuki will undergo the same process. Giving birth means he is risking his life to let another life lives - your children. So, don't you ever hurt him."

Such words somehow penetrated right into Ryohei's heart. He did not really hate Yamato in the first place. He just thought of avoiding the doctor because the doctor could detect Yuki's smell on him, plus Yamato has divulged about the secondary genders Alphas, Betas, and Omegas.

"Thank you for your non stop support, Dr Yamato," Ryohei curved a smile which startled Yamato. "Why with your expression?"

"I never thought you would smile at me like that," Yamato teased Ryohei by pinching his cheeks, "Although we're ten years apart, you never feel awkward around me."

Ryohei frowned at Yamato. This doctor was being a little more sensitive than his normal self. Probably because he has begun loving them as friends, not as research subjects. Ryohei replaced his frown by a wide grin. "You make our relationship possible. Between Yuki and I, and between you and us."

They exited the registration department and parted ways. From the opposite direction, Yamato watched Ryohei walking closely with Yuki at his side. The bundled up Yuki cuddled Ryohei's arm and smiled in gladness. Ryohei was surely an overprotective - he wrapped a muffler around Yuki's neck, a snowcap on Yuki's head, a triple layered sweater covering Yuki's body. The sweater was thick, hence Yuki's stomach was not showing. Yamato could also say Yuki's pace has slowed, believably due to the babies. Ryohei once told him that Yuki had back ache, hence it must be it. Reminiscing the day when the couple discovered about their soon-to-be babies, Yamato giggled at himself.

"So you were the culprit, huh?"

The abrupt accost from behind by someone Yamato could distinguish somehow stunned him, yet he manageably hid his shock. He controlled his breath so that it would not sound forceful. He did not need to turn around, confronting the person as the person himself moved to Yamato's front.

"Can you at least wish me Good Afternoon or such? Your rudeness is beyond Devil," Yamato rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. He disliked the presence of this person. "Were you watching us?"

"Of course. Especially that blind whore!" The person frantically pointed towards the direction Ryohei and Yuki were headed, "I still don't understand how you found them, Yamato."

Yamato refused to answer Hayato's insignificant nosiness, turning away and beginning to leave the spot. Hayato impatiently tugged him on the wrist.

"Tell me!" Hayato gritted his teeth. His nostrils flared in fury, "Why were you with them?!"

"It's none of your business," Yamato shoved Hayato's head to widen the gap between them. "Don't get close to me. Your breath stinks. And I remember that you loathed me too much that you even blocked me from meeting my husband."

Hayato groaned and slapped Yamato's hand on his face. He felt that he was toyed by Yamato, not by physically but by mentally. Yamato smirked at him and his childishness.

"Keep your revenge away and get back to your own stuffs, Hayato," Yamato even advised the man before him, "He deserves his own happiness and prosperity. He has found his love, he has long left that ridiculous world. In short, he has stopped being a prostitute. You may go having sex with Kawanishi. I won't ever care."

The man named Hayato smirked at Yamato. The urge to spit right at the doctor's face emerged, yet he held his nonsense desire. "I won't stay still, for your information," he crossed his arms while glaring directly into Yamato's lazy eyes, "He has messed up with Kawanishi. Even though we have acted like nothing happened, he still appeared everywhere around the premise. In the meantime, he even tried seducing Ryohei. Such an eyesore!"

Yamato rolled his eyes for the nth time. Listening to Hayato's ridiculous utterance sickened him too much to the point he might flee right away. "It's your karma, for your information. He practically did nothing last two years. You were just full of yourself. Do you think Kawanishi still loves you?"

After giving off deadly glares at Yamato, Hayato left the doctor alone there without replying to Yamato's half insults.
