With the conference done and the internet once again buzzing with chaos because of Lexi, Garner's stats was in a safe place. But was it really? The board meeting in the afternoon would determine a lot, especially if the investors pulled out.

It wouldn't be a pretty sight for them all, but then it wasn't like they had the power to control the stakes in the game. The Garner siblings hoped it would be okay, while for Lia, she hoped it would be messy.

She hoped they would lose investors or their biggest investor. That would create a blank space for them to join in happily. Alex was worried about the meeting in the afternoon, and that could be seen in the way he was studying the investor profiles, gauging the weak ones and their history.
