"calm down Genevieve, you're a doctor and your patient may be distressed seeing you like that" Jenny said, but even she looked like she wanted to kill her baby sister. What was she thinking? She had to be the sensible one though.

"Jenny…Mia…I'm sorry" Lia said but the two doctors were not done with her yet. Mia put her mask on and stepped back to allow Jenny to assess the damages to her sister. They were all so teary, but what else could they do?

Overdosing Amelia on pain meds could only cause her more pain and they didn't want to see her hurting. Mia hated this. She didn't like the state she was in. She hated being the girl with the bad news.

She hated that the person she was treating was like a baby sister to her. But she had no option. She had to save her. Even if she meant saving Amelia from herself she would do that, but first, they had a common enemy.
