Amelia lay her head on her desk, tired of all that had happed in one day. She had looked at the internet and it was buzzing with her name. Her reputation was o the mud, with people taking Jill's side because they didn't want to be blacklisted by the big companies.

They condemned her for not being a good manager and were even calling for her suspension. She was not going to watch that shit anymore, so se told her secretary to leave early because there was truly no work that could be ongoing at the moment.

She wondered why she had to go through all that in one day. She wasn't stressed about the scandal with Jill. She wasn't worried that Alex had chosen her sister publicly over her. She was worried about Alexander.
