He wanted to let go. If this was the only way for him to get his assurance and save his family, then he was okay with all that was happening. He was ready to send himself to Lia if their reconciliation tactics didn't work, because after all, it was his faith that they all had gotten here.

Maybe if he sent himself to the devil's den, then she would leave his family alone. Besides, his parents had no play in this; they had done nothing that could make the James siblings believe even for the slightest hint that the Garner parents had a play in the deaths of their parents.

It was kinda sad how all their years together and their battles had been reduced to anger and hatred.
