As Lex sat back down, she felt like a bad sister. Granted, it was because of what Alex had done, but she had also realized that through this all, she had never really showed up for Ryan. The man had been with them for years, and yet as time went by, they seemed to be pulling apart.

The worst part of it all, was that she knew if Alex ever got in trouble, she would never hesitate to get him out, so what had happened with Ry?

Why had she ignored the other brother when they had all been through shit together?

"I'm sorry," Lex said and Alex sighed.

Of course, she was, hell, even though he was sorry about what he had done with his brother he should have done better. Having a family should have lessened the burden on Ryan's shoulders, but instead, it seems like nothing changed.
