The girl sleeping under moonlight

"There," He sat beside her and raised his hands towards her. It held something white with a dark brown skin outside. On his other hand, there was a brown ball shaped thing that was broken from over the top, in the shape of a circular hole. "What is this?" She blinked at what he offered her and then at him. Her hands stayed in her lap as she didn't make a move to take it out of his hands. "Coconut?" He looked at her as if she had lost her mind to not recognize such a common food. "Oh," She looked down again and took the white and brown thing that now she had realized was coconut, out of his hands. She had coconut soaked overnight in milk almost every morning, back at home. It was a shame that she didn't recognize it but she blamed it all to the events that they had been through.
