He Is Missing His Hooligan!

Varun was pacing back and forth in his room, deciding whether he should call her or not. It's been three days since that incident of her fiance's cheating. After crying her eyes out that day, Somya went home with him, but that was the last time he saw her.

Now she is not coming out, nor is she sitting on her balcony which she usually does. He waited for her to come to her balcony to stare at the moon or to pet her dog as always, but she doesn't. She is even keeping her door closed. And he is going nuts because of her.

In the past, it was always her who calls him first and not the other way around. It was rare for him to call her first. This time he tried calling her first without any reason. But she didn't pick his call, so he can only conclude that she is still in shock and doesn't want to see anyone. Two days passed after that, but she still didn't return his call.

'Was she in love with her fiance? Is that's why she felt betrayed, and she doesn't want to face reality by coming out? Doesn't she say they are still cultivating love? Varun was having all kinds of thoughts, but he ignored them as he knows his Bunny well. If she had been in love, then there was no way she won't brag about it to him.

She is an open book, and she had always been like this. Her eyes prove the honesty and purity of her words. Varun always finds it easiest to read her eyes because they are the most innocent eyes he had ever seen.

It's the first time in years when Mr. Varun Kashyap doesn't know how to solve a problem and that unrealizable problem is a girl. He wanted to help her, but he doesn't know how to.

On the other side of the street, Somya was staring in the space with her dull eyes. She had been sitting in her bed for hours now, wearing her nightshirt with messy hair. It's 2 p.m already, and she had yet to bathe and have breakfast.

She isn't feeling cheated because she wasn't in love with Ansh in the first place. But it won't be wrong to say that she was marrying him for love. She was expecting her last few years to pass while making beautiful memories of her married life. But now her happy bubble got burst, and all her hopes got shattered.

She is not going out of her room for the past few days because she doesn't know how to face reality. Her brain was in a mess now. She doesn't know what to do now. She had no idea how to do deal with her marriage now.

Should she tell her parents what she saw?

Her mind: yes, no, maybe.

Should she confront Ansh?

Her mind: why or why not.

Should she ask for Varun's help?

Her heart: would he help?

Despite her sleeping till afternoon, she was still feeling exhausted because of her endless thoughts. She was getting hopeless.

She sighs and dragged her tired self for freshening up. Her parents getting worried about her was the last thing she wants to happen.

She just came out of her bathroom when she heard a familiar voice coming from downstairs.

She runs out to find him sitting in the living room. He was wearing a navy blue shirt and jeans with a solemn expression plastered on his face as always. Her heart which was earlier behaving as if it is bored of beating all the time, suddenly escalated after hearing his deep voice. But after getting a glimpse of him, it suddenly calmed down.

What's wrong with her heartbeats? Should she go, see a doctor? A doctor of heart? A cardiologist!

~The eyes know

That it's the eyes' fault

For what things they do

We get punished

Sleep disappears...peace departs

When one gets obsessed with heart

The heart does some stealing

The heart does what it feels

The heart has learned how to steal hearts

This is the heart's weakness

Heart keeps on listening to itself

It doesn't listen to whom it belongs

It creates its own world inside it

The eyes know

That it's the eyes'fault~

Finally finding her standing on the first floor, Varun sighed in relief. He was afraid that she would not want to see him. He wanted to give her time and space for adjusting her emotions, but his heart has its own plans.

No matter what he does, he can't concentrate on it. He kept thinking about her and checking his phone for any missed calls or messages. He finally gave in to his heart and came to see her. It was Saturday today, and he knew she would be at home, so he directly came without informing her.

He rose from the sofa and moved towards her. They were both staring into each other's eyes, and none of them was willing to break eye contact first.

On getting a closer view of her, he frowned. He just left her alone for two days, and she already looked like someone who hasn't eaten for a month. And what's with those panda eyes? Did she switch her job with Rocky and was guarding all night?

He asked her, "Hey Hooligan, how have you been?"

'I missed you,' his heart announced.
