The raid experience 2 [5]

The team continued to walk after beating the slimes however some suffered minor burns, the outer fluids of the slime were painful when touched however it left little to no injuries as the only injuries it gave was tremendous pain similar to walking on hot coal, only their superhuman abilities as hunters kept them from screaming in pain because their regeneration was better than normal people, the pain went away after just a minute.

(thankfully I picked a spear... It's range was great and since I stabbed it, those acid thing didn't go splattering everywhere, I gained a level too but it seems like I only get 2 points per level, it also increases my Hp by 10... I thought putting points on strength would increase it... What did the stat description mean by "health" then? Could it simply be my body health? I do feel a little more active even after working out) Egam thought while playing with her spear just because

"why can't we just bring guns?" someone from the team asked with a hot head directed towards the guide

...

"shooting those slimes wouldn't be effective, those thick rubber like skin of it could really take in all the force of the bullet, even if you did hit it.. It's probably ganna splatter some deadly slime acid and not to mention, from B ranks to S ranks... Even things like anti tank rounds won't do anything to the bosses, it will do damage to the lesser monsters but just cutting it down is much more cost effective after all, hunters were made for this but unlucky for yall here, yall just E ranks"

Everyone in the room felt sudden disappointment crawling through their heads from hearing E rank, it didn't pay well considering that you were risking your life but it's pay was a life saver for the broke people out there like Egam.

"oh, dungeon wolves.. They attack in groups so don't expect facing off against only 1 so all of you expect 2 or 3 attacking you individually so group up in pairs unless you out number them... Oh and of course, they aren't slow like slimes so good luck fighting"

Just as he said, the pack of wolves came towards them as they split into pairs but there were only 6 of them so the hunters had them out numbered with 11 hunters. The wolves came sprinting at them with explosive like speed which made the hunters back off out of fear, without much time to pair up the wolves were already in front of them ready to bite their necks off with no remorse in their sword like fangs.

"shit! Fuck off you dog!"

"back off! Back off!"

Although their teamwork was non existant and that this was their first time fighting with their lives on the line, just a couple of lucky hits gave them victory but at the cost of some noticeable injuries within the group.

"ahh! My arm hurts!" a woman yelled out as she grabbed her left arm which had a deep scar, it bled nonstop to the point that it made a small pond just the size of a foot

"my neck.. I almost died" a guy said with a terrified face as if he saw death's eyes

"expect this to happen all the time but as hunters we all heal even the most life threatening wounds, oh and expect to go into D rank gates but they come in rarely for you E ranks but I tell you that it is much more difficult than this E rank gate... So do both of you quit? better act fast lady that wound is ganna leave a scar if you wait any longer"

The two immediately nodded with no regrets in their action

"alright now be a man and carry that lady to the healer" the guide ordered the man who only suffered mental pain from almost being decapitated by a wolf

As if by miracle she felt much more different in just a few seconds, for a moment she felt like she could jump over an elephant or even fly. Not only that but her mind became much more clear and fresh and her breathing became much more nicer despite already having clean lungs, she suspected that it was because of the health description she read on the Stat info back then.

(I feel so fresh, feels like I just got out of a bath... I think I should hit harder by now, I still kinda feel bad for stabbing that wolf, it even went all the way through its head.. Blehh, now I have brain goo all over my spear) she thought with disgust, as her spear was covered in blood and whatever the hell a wolf has in it's brain

...

After a full 2 hours of fighting wolves, some more slimes and even a really aggressive giant moose like creature with scales for some reason, only 5 were left in the group as the others quitted from too much fear, shocked from the danger of being a hunter and getting a heavy injury and not pushing through it like a champ.

"finally... In that room is the boss room, the moment you go in, the boss is right there waiting for you... Don't expect this to happen everytime, the boss could be out wandering around the dungeon or be sleeping" the guide whispered with a soft voice

The guide peaked inside the room and he saw a large green creature sleeping with a large wooden club on the floor.

"an ork, it's dumb and slow, it's attacks are really predictable even for a child... However it's thick skin and large size gives it a stupid amount of endurance and defense, make sure to always aim at the head and damage only the most important parts like it's kneecaps or even stab it's eyes" the guide continued to whisper

(that's terrifying to hear, u did level up a few times though... I'm not sure if it's enough) Egam thought with doubt in her abilities as a hunter

The 4 last hunters were very hesitant as the size of that beast was a little bigger than an elephant which gave it a good fear factor, even his wooden club was the size of an average fridge... The thought of it smashing your body gave the last remaining hunters the chills.

"since clearing a boss usually takes around 11 hunters, I'll give you all a handicap" the guide informed the hunters as he approached the sleeping green ork

His speed was faster than that of Olympic runners and he didn't even went full throttle with his legs, not only that but his footsteps were silent like a trained assassin or a silent feather touching the ground.

He then did something that shocked the last 4 hunters, the guide walked towards the giant wooden club quietly and lifted it with one hand without even the need to flex his muscles, that sight relieved the hunters as they now know that the guide was way beyond the ork so if anything went wrong, no one would die if they call quits.

"ahem..."

The guide lifted the giant wooden club the size of a fridge as if it was just a normal stick, he then breathed in a good amount of air as he opened his mouth.

"WAKEY WAKEY!!! IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL MISTER ORK!!"
