The office was colder than I thought it would be. Never did I think I would be up here with an unexcused tardy. "Mr.alan do you care to explain why you didn't show up to school on time today." The assistant principal asked with an interrogating face. I could care less about the explanation, I just didn't want to get caught, not by my parents, but by honey. If honey knew I was here she would literally hurt me. She doesn't take lying to well, and I mean she doesn't. I look up at the assistant principal with the biggest puppy dog eyes I could make to get her off my case, she was not fazed. "Mr. Alan,please refrain from getting yourself into deeper suspension today. "

I hunch back into my chair and try to think of another way to get out of the office, but my thinking was interrupted by my worst nightmare. The school bell. My heart jumped, and my palm grew sweaty as I quickly sat up in my chair. " Mrs. Fishback I am terribly sorry for what I did... whatever I did." I said quickly as I gather my stuff off the office table. "Now if you will excuse me." I said as I got up out of the chair and made my way to the Exit. " M-M-Mr. Alan now if you would just hold up a moment.. ."Mrs.Fishback said as she rushed after me. As I turned around to get away, my heart dropped as if I had just died. "Mr.alan you can not just get up and run away, this will be a detention if you do not get back to that chair!" Mrs.Fishback demanded as she made her way to me. I stood in my tracks unable to move, my legs about to give in while my heart raced. Honey stood at the entrance, staring upon me,her eyes telling my to kneel. I could feel the more I defied these orders the more I would be punished. "Mr. Alan, what are you...Ms.honey what is it that you want?" Mrs.Fishback asked. Her stare became colder as she whispered "sit"
