Which Exam?

We're now a few weeks in to the final year of junior high school and it's nearly time for the number 1 hero school in Japan to begin their entrance exams. UA high school, also known as the best hero school in Japan has two different entrance exams. One is the recommendation exam in which students are recommended into the school by heroes, headteachers or any other important person. The recommendation exam is hard and few people actually pass it, but people still do it as if you pass the exam you can directly enter the hero course, one of the four departments at UA and the one that allows you to become a hero after obtaining your license and graduating, the other three are the support department in which students work on supporting heroes, the management department where the students learn to do all aspects of heroic business and lastly the general department in which the students do other general stuff... maybe... probably.

Anyway the other way to enter UA other than the recommendation exam is the regular entrance exam in which almost anyone can enter as long as they are a student that can apply. This exam is very similar to the recommendation exam as it has both a written exam and a practical test, however the regular entrance exam does not have an interview, but that is most likely because of the large number of people that attend from all over the country they don't have enough time to interview them all.

This information is what leads us to this day where sitting in a well lit room within the large mansion of the yaoyorozu family is Kumi, sitting on a large swivelling chair at a wooden desk in the middle of the room looking towards her two daughters. Momo, her oldest daughter is currently on the sofa at the side of the room with her phone in her left hand not doing whatever teenagers do on their phones and instead is looking at the atomic configuration of different objects and her right hand is well to her right obviously, but it's also on top of her sleeping little sister Luna patting her head and causing her to purr uncontrollably from the stimulus.

They were called into the room fifteen minutes ago because their mother had wanted to talk to them about the UA entrance exam and after being told that she was just finishing up something important Luna had fallen asleep on Momo's lap which had caused her to blush at first, causing Kumi to smirk to herself and give herself an imaginary pat on the back for coming up with that on the spot, but Momo quickly calmed down and so did Kumi after realising that she now had to pretend to work for a little bit, which caused her to facepalm as she hadn't realised her own blunder.

Well she had pretended long enough so Kumi began to do what she was going to do a quarter of an hour ago.

"Hey I'm done with my work so could you wake Luna up Momo, so she can listen to why I've called you in here."

"Ok Mum!"

Momo replies as she puts down her phone and wakes Luna up by shaking her lightly and breathing out warm air into her ear which causes her to shiver slightly and wake up with a stretch and a meow during which she looks towards her mother and gives her a thankful nod before walking towards her next to Momo.

Kumi looks at her daughters in front of her with pride as she begins to speak

"So you two want to be heroes which means you'll need to go to a hero school and since you're my children that means that only the best is acceptable, so you will be going to UA high school and to get in to UA you'll need to do an entrance exam and that's why I needed to speak to the two of you. Which entrance exam do you want to do?"

After listening Momo thinks for a while about the two different choices, one would allow her a way in to the school without having to fight over a spot with to many people and the other would be more fun and a better way to compare herself to ordinary people her age. Whilst Momo was thinking Luna had already come up with her answer and replied immediately.

"The less bothersome one-nya, there will be less people, which means less people see my Momo."

She declares full of so much enthusiasm she looks sleepy as if she wasn't enthusiastic at all and just wanted to sleep, she had the straightest face you could imagine, causing Momo to blush and Kumi's face to twitch because of how nonchalantly Luna had declared Momo hers In front of her own mother.

"Well I agree with the middle part, but lets ignore the last part, for now at least"

Kumi says with a serious face before turning to the blank faced Momo.

"So now it's down to you Momo, what do you want to do?"

"I am going to do the recommendation exam, so that I can see how well I'm doing."

Momo says with determination clearly written on her face.

"Well then you two should prepare, it's the start of your journey as a hero after all."

And prepare they did or didn't because Luna just slept like normal and Momo decide that maybe she would try to sleep with Luna too before stopping as she realised what she was thinking.
