5 - Part C:
After some harsh exercise during Melee training, we went back to our classroom for the seventh period which is General Studies.
As we entered our classroom, we noticed that the strange chairs are gone and what replace them is our desks.
In other words, our room has now returned back to normal.
I wonder how did Madam Aura pulled that off in just an hour.
Brainwave manipulation maybe?
Nah!
I don't think she'll go to all that trouble just to move all those chairs so she must have ordered a lot of maidbots to do the clean up duty.
Anyway, all of us went to our seats and wait for Ms. Diana to arrive.
After few minutes of waiting, she arrives.
"I'm sorry class for being late. I was doing some very important paper works. So without further, a due, let us start with today's lecture."
After she said all that, Ms. Diana lightly taps on her desk and all the lights in the classroom are turned off.
Since I'm really exhausted, the atmosphere is making me sleepy.
I tried pinching my right arm to wake myself up and sadly it wasn't effective.
So I pop some blue cherry candy in my mouth, and it did the trick.
Now I'm wide awake.
Good thing blue cherry has an energizing effect.
Otherwise, I'll be out cold right now.
Anyway, Ms. Diana lightly taps on her desk again and the touch screen blackboard lits up.
After it lit up, the words "Mech War" appeared on the touch screen blackboard.
As I read those words, I thought to myself that it sound kinda cool.
Ms. Diana lightly taps on her desk again and a CG video of a bunch of Mechanoid Armor with big ass guns shooting at each other in outer space is being displayed.
Pshoooh* Pshooooh* Ratatata* Ratatata* Whistle* Boom*
After fifteen seconds, the video stops playing.
Ms. Diana always puts so much effort in her presentations.
Anyway, Ms. Diana starts talking in a calm and soothing manner.
"The Mech War... Two hundred forty-five years ago, that's 8556 U.D, there was an all out war at the Aquarius galaxy because of two factions which are the Pro U.T and the Anti U.T. (Note: U.T means Universal Treaty.) The Anti U.T seems to believe that the Universal Treaty is a dictatorial government and the Aquarius galaxy should separate themselves while the Pro U.T disagrees with them. At first, the two factions settle their differences with debates until a certain incident happened."
Ms. Diana stops midway and lightly taps on her desk.
The touch screen blackboard change it's display into a profile of a middle age man wearing a suit.
Ms. Diana continues...
"On the year 8855 U.D during the fourth month of the twenty-seventh day, John Cartel Smith, who was the embassades of the Universal Treaty of Aquarius Galaxy was assassinated while he was taking a vacation in his villa that is located on the planet Atlantus III. The weapon that was used for the crime is a Mechanoid Armor. Witness report said that a black modified Mechanoid Armor flew towards John Cartel Smith's villa and shot a ballistic missile at point blank range. Unfortunately, the perpetrator who is the pilot wasn't caught because he committed suicide by self-destructing his vehicle through the explosion caused by the ballistic missile. On the other hand, the suspicion on being the mastermind was cast upon the Anti U.T faction mainly because there was no one else to blame. The Anti U.T faction denied the crime and there was not enough evidence to support the case that was filed against them. However..."
Ms. Diana lightly taps on her desk while I pop another blue cherry candy in my mouth.
I'm starting to get sleepy because of extreme boredom.
I really hate history.
Anyway, the touch screen blackboard changes it's display into a collage video of Mechanoid Armors destroying places.
If you ask me, it looks similar to a scene in that famous retro anime Gundam.
Ms. Diana continues...
"Wide spread terrorist acts using Mechanoid Armors occur almost daily throughout the Aquarius galaxy. To address this dire situation, the two factions decided to undergo a temporary truce in order to stop these terrorist attacks and to concentrate on supplying themselves with combat ready Mechanoid Armor. Although they were under a temporary truce, these two factions did not work together. So they dealt with the situation on their own."
Yawn*
When will this boring lecture end?
Ms. Diana lightly taps on her desk and the display of the touch screen blackboard changes into another collage but this time it wasn't a video but a black and white images of men being interrogated.
"The two factions were able to capture some of the terrorists and interrogated them. As they were interrogated, they were able to extract the information they want which is who is the mastermind of the terrorist attacks. The name that was given to the Pro U.T side was the Anti U.T and the vise versa for the Anti U.T. Because of that, the two faction wage war against each other creating the first war that uses Mechanoid Armor as weapons. That is the reason why the historians called it the "Mech War". "
Ms Diana lightly taps on her desk which changes the touch screen blackboard's display into the a picture of a bunch of war fleet in outer space with the logo of the S.M.F on the top center.
"The Mech War lasted for three years until the Universal Treaty President Vaul Fior Swartz ordered the S.M.F to interfere and act as a deterrent. The reason why President Swartz didn't ordered the S.M.F to interfere right away because he was waiting for the massive supplies of combat ready Mechanoid Armor and flag ships from the Silvertech company who's also the leading Technological and Weapons Manufacturer that time in order to out gun the two forces."
Great to know that my ancestors contributed to galactic peace.
"The two forces treated the S.M.F as an enemy and turned their hostility towards them. Eventually, the S.M.F was able to force them to submission by annihilating one third of their forces each. Thus, the Mech War has come to an end."
Ms. Diana turned the lights back on and shuts down the touch screen blackboard.
After that, she looks at us with her gentle smile and said...
"Now! For today's pop quiz..."
