Double bad luck

After spending an evening drinking and chatting, the group splits up with Jack, who seems to go his own way. While the trio lends itself to go to a room reserved for them. They had a quiet night, and Allatu was sorry, but they had to leave early at dawn and for now it was wiser to rest. Asteri had no problem fucking all night and waking up early, his performance of him wouldn't have suffered the slightest backlash, but he was worried about the two girls who would surely be tired after long sessions.

Dawn came and the group left the tavern. The village was still in a state of absolute tranquility, given the morning hours.

"Wasn't it more comfortable to leave at night? With the favor of the dark it would have been an advantage for us to join the patrols." asks Betty

"It is true that we would have had the advantage of the night, but the patrols will be more numerous and attentive than during the day. And then most of the Teratas hunt at night, And if we ever had a fight with them during the night, most likely the noises. of the battle would have attracted the attention of those numerous patrols, but during the day it would have been rarer as they could have deduced that they are ordinary adventurers carrying out their missions. " Asteri explains the reason for his decision. "But all this does not give us the certainty of being totally safe during the day, we still have to maintain a certain discretion in our steps".

Allatu and Betty nodded, understanding the reasoning. So they began to walk briskly towards the enemy city indicated by Jack. Asteri had not told Jack but his intention was already to find the girl first and then reach the city of the rebels. As soon as they left the village they headed for the forests, and from there they began their journey.

For half a day the only obstacles they encountered were some wild animals, such as wolves, bears and others. They certainly haven't stopped arguing with all of them every time they've met them, after all, simple animals can't compete with the trio.

So the journey up there was all in all uneventful. But at a certain point they stopped, the reason was that they perceived presences of a certain level. Asteri could deduce that there were about ten. They hid behind the bushes near a fallen tree. And after a few seconds they saw a patrolling guard approaching. It was made up of eleven soldiers, ten simple guards, and the last one seems to be the captain of that patrol. They were all mounted in simple armor. Luckily they weren't the White Knights, surely it would have been more complicated to go unnoticed.

"The ten guards hover around the green core, fifth to eighth grade. While their captain is in first grade, the blue core. With our skills they are not a dangerous threat." Betty whispered to the group.

"I agree with what you say but we do not attack, if possible I would like them to pass without them noticing". Asteri had the same idea as Betty. For some ordinary people on their own level and with only three members they would have feared this patrol ... but they are not ordinary. But she didn't want to attract unnecessary attention anyway.

The patrol was currently walking one of the many forest trails, and it appeared that they had passed Asteri's group position, but suddenly stopped a little further on the trail. The captain gave the order to stop. The trio was immediately on alert, ready for any inconvenience.

"What happens captain?" one of the simple guards approached the captain and asked.

"Mhhh I'm not sure, but I feel something. Someone is watching us." the captain answered the guard.

'Oh come on! that sucks shit. 'Asteri thinks in his mind.

"Take off the swords, we have company." shouted the captain to the guards.

The group was about to go out and attack the patrol, at least they would have had a minimum of surprise at the first move. But just as they were about to emerge from the bushes, a shadow came out of the thick trees along the path.

What appeared before everyone's eyes was a Terata. He looks like a wolf, but with obvious differences. This wolf is five feet tall and sixty feet long. It was vegetable green, for good reason. This wolf was not made of flesh and bone but of roots and thorns.

'Another shitty misfortune, it is already with these two misfortunes. It's been all too easy so far ... here's why.' Asteri mentally cursed his bad luck.

"If I'm not mistaken, that terata species is called Rizou, it lives mostly in forests and jungles." Allatu talks about his knowledge of that terata.

"It's amazing that we haven't been able to sense his presence. Even if his level is higher than ours, we will still have to feel a hostile presence." Betty was curious that no one could feel the Rizou's presence.

"And because of the forest. Being Rizou creatures in communion with nature, they can blend perfectly if they are in environments rich in it. A forest or a jungle are perfect places, so they hardly leave their territories." Asteri too knew something about these wolves.

'A Rizou ?! so close to a path? How is that possible?' the captain was shocked that this monster is so close on these trails that it does not usually travel to the deepest parts of the forest.

"RIZOUUU!" the guards screamed at the sight of the monster, they knew how dangerous this creature was. But despite this they prepared for the fight, even if their horses were agitated by the presence of the Rizou.

"It will end badly for them, unless the captain has an ace up his sleeve." Asteri says looking at the strength of the Rizou.

Terata is in the fourth degree of the blue nucleus.

'But we can still use this event in our favor.' Asteri begins to reflect.

'From two hostile misfortunes a fortune was born for us.' Aurelion speaks with Asteri.

'We're not that unfortunate in the end, partner.' Asteri replies.
