Running out of bandits

The group finally entered the cave, led by Obert. They must say that thanks to him they have avoided many traps along the way. And they didn't even meet a bandit, it was as if they had disappeared.

"Where are the other bandits?" Asteri looks at Obert.

"I have no idea. And the first time something like this happens, in theory we should have already met someone ..." instead there is no one, this is the thought of Obert and the others.

"Do you have secondary steps?" Allatu asks as he looks at the cave walls.

"Yes, or so I heard." Obert answers.

"Hear, what do you mean?" Betty narrowed her eyes at Obert's vague answer.

"We are not allowed to go through a certain section of the cave, only members with the highest rank are allowed." Obert gives a summary of the organization of the bandits of this cave.

"Degrees ehh, so you bandits use them too. By the way, I've been wondering for a while, but what's your band called?" Asteri was curious about the name of the band of these bandits. Also, it was more convenient to identify them by having one.

"We don't have one, the boss says it's ridiculous to have a name." Obert scratches his head, as if he is embarrassed.

"I understand ..." Asteri was of a different opinion. 'If I had my gang, I would definitely give it a name.' He was thinking in his thoughts.

"You said you're not allowed to go through a certain section of that cave, but how do you know about this side street?" Allatu looked suspicious.

"We can't go into that specific section, but it's not like we're forbidden to know what's inside. At least we inquire about some things, I know there is this secondary way, but I don't know its location." Says Obert.

"Okay, then take us to this VIP section, I'm sure if we have to find anything, that's where it is." Asteri wanted to visit the VIP section. "By the way, since you don't have a name, I'll identify you as the cave bandits for now. This is more convenient." he called the gang without asking permission from the bandits.

"..."

The other three were silent when I heard Asteri give the bandit band a name without anyone asking.

"I know, it's not original as a name. But for the moment we have to make do with that." Asteri had taken that silence as if the group were disappointed by the name he had given to the gang. But in reality they were taciturn because it was not important to give her a name.

The group noted that in order to be banned, this gang had a decent organization. The cave was excavated in some places to organize the rooms. these rooms were used in various ways; some were used as lodgings, others as weapons depots, others as food depots, and still others for various uses. In the upper part of the cave there were fixed torches to shed light along the way.

Obert was the one who explained all this to the group, informing them of everything. Asteri was amazed at how Obert provided all this information so smoothly, but it didn't bother him as it could be useful for future adventures.

After a few minutes of walking they came to a door, beyond it was the section of the cave that was off-limits to low-ranking members.

"There are usually guards posted here, but there aren't any." Obert seemed perplexed by this mysterious disappearance of the members.

"Maybe they went on vacation without telling you anything? So they left all the work to you." Asteri said with irony.

"... I don't think so, but this event is certainly strange." Obert answered, looking at the door.

"To stay here without doing anything is to reflect, but it won't get us anywhere, let's go inside". Betty wanted to get over this story. But before she could open the door ...

"Wait! The door is sealed with a spell from that wizard you killed earlier." Obert announced, before the girl could touch the door handle.

"And what does the spell in question involve?" Allatu asks looking at Obert.

"If you touch it without permission ... you are repelled by an explosion of fire." Obert indicates the type of spell.

"That wizard was just a burning fixation. How can we break the spell anyway?" Asteri wanted to quickly destroy this nuisance.

"... only the magician could go in and out without anything happening. That's why he was always with the boss, it's strange that he was left without the boss." Obert hadn't specified before that the wizard was needed.

"And when would you have told us?" Betty was about to strangle Obert.

"N-no wait! I-I did everything you asked me to do. I-forgot, forgive me!" Obert closed his eyes with his hands to protect his head.

"Enough Betty. He did what we asked him, we can also let him go, I don't think there are other traps, and even if there were he would not know their position. Obert you have been of help to us, it is as agreed that I will let go, keep this is the promised potion. "Asteri handed out a clear vial with red liquid inside.

"Thank you very much. I'll take the trouble off right away, good luck to you all." Obert immediately took the ampoule and immediately fled immediately.

"Great! Now we should think of a way to destroy this seal. Anyone have any ideas?" Asteri looked at both girls.

The girls weren't wizards, so they had no idea how to do it. They answered Asteri's question by shaking their heads.

"Okay, so I'll switch to plan B." Asteri already had an idea of how to break that spell, but first he wanted to know if the two knew a more ... "quiet" way to cancel it.

The boy channeled astral power into his sword. Both fire and electricity passed through the iron blade, illuminating the darkness of the cave with a wonderful light, which was once chased by burning torches. But unlike Asteri's light, those torches could have little illumination. It was like comparing sunlight to a light bulb.

After a minute, Asteri made a clean cut, from top to bottom, on the door. When he did, a blue seal appeared in front of it. But as soon as it appeared it split into two perfectly equal parts, and the door did the same. The seal was broken.

"Well, now we can move on." he says as he puts the sword back in its sheath and looks at the two girls.
