In the grand scheme of things, Mac had way more experience with kissing, especially kissing boys, than I did. But that didn't stop me from taking the lead and making this kiss stand out and stand alone from the thousands that came before it.


Mac went still as stone the minute my lips touched his. I heard his breath catch and felt his entire body stiffen. But his lips were soft and warm, and it only took a hot second for him to actively kiss me back. He might be slight and look delicate and fragile, but there was no question that I was kissing another guy. There was no hesitation, no shyness, no softness in the kiss I got back.
