And here it is. The end of the Danmachi saga is upon us. Chapter 69. Nice.

I feel like this is kinda rushed, but oh well.

Also, longest chapter to date. So that's cool.

{2 days later}

As I stared at my crying goddess, I contemplated throwing a TOTW at Ouranous, consequences be dammed. Hestia looked so shaken, that I was REALLY close to saying 'fuck it' and killing him. (I can evacuate everyone we care for, and give them front row tickets to the show. Hell, I could make some fireworks too. Make it a whole celebration as I send the fucker to hell.)

Now, you might be wondering why I was considering killing the guy that 'manages' the dungeon. The answer to that needs context for what happened yesterday.

See, the day after I killed Freya, another Denatus was called, for the reason stated prior, and Hestia went to it. I, and the rest of the girls, knew SOMETHING was going to come from this, we just didn't know what.

Though, I don't think any of us expected her to come back shaking like a leaf, with tears in her eyes. She looked so defeated, and even after Shizuka brought her into a hug, she just started crying. It took Athena, who was bunking with us since her library got bombed to hell, to tell us what the Denatus was about. And when she got to the reason my goddess was crying her eyes out?

"By decree of Ouranous, and with majority votes, Hestia familia, along with members of your pack, have been exiled from Orario. You have been given 24 hours to pick up all your belongings, and vacate Orario." Even Athena looked pissed as she said that. And it was hard to piss off Athena, I would know, I've tried.

So you could see why I was tempted to murder the fucker. I didn't care about the exile bit, we could not only live anywhere we wanted, we could just world jump to another world. Which was what we were going to do. What I, along with Shizuka and the rest of our familia, were pissed at was they made our goddess cry. It was like seeing a spider the size of a person. A crying Hestia was just wrong.

I got up, and walked over to Hestia. She was still being hugged by Shizuka, so I wrapped the both of them up in my arms, and comforted her. "Don't worry mo bhandia, I'll make sure those fuckers realize their mistake." I was serious here. (I haven't blown anyone up with a Gaster Blaster yet... Hmm...)

She jolted at that, and through bleary eyes, looked at me. "N-no! It's...Its ok Maccillian..."

I couldn't help but stare at her. "Mo bhandia. You are CRYING! Just for that, I should rip off Ouranos' dick and shove it up his ass!"

Hestia gave me a wry grin at that, but Shizuka inserted herself into this part. "RIGHT!? I should introduce him into the bad end of Mega Boomstick!" The image of Shizuka slamming her Reinhardt hammer into Ouranous, preferably in the balls, made me nod.

Hestia's tears took a backseat to her trying, and failing to stop a grin from forming. "D-Don't do that, please? As much as I like that image, Orario... Orario needs Ouranous." Shizuka and I shared a look at that, and the frowns on both of our faces let us know how much neither of us liked that fact.

A cough from our side told us Athena had something to say, so we looked at her. She was on the same couch as Saya, opposite of Bell, Lili, and the hounds. She had a frown on her face, but it wasn't aimed at us. "As... Crass, as those threats are. For once, I have to agree with Maccillian and Shizuka." If there was ever a moment for me to do a spit take, this would be it. The shock of Athena agreeing with us, spread through the room, and Houndoom even stopped chewing on his bone. It was just... Yeah.

Athena raised a brow, and just turned to look at us. "While I won't put it in the same way you two have, I HATE the decision made by Ouranous and the gods. They may not understand the FULL ramifications of demanding this of Hestia, but I do." That made us, everyone other than Hestia, interested. She must've seen the question on our faces, and after going into her 'serious' mode, went on. "As gods/goddesses, we naturally gravitate towards anything related to our aspects. Some things hold our attention, or even places in our hearts, more than others. However, the more we care about whatever has our attention, the more attached we get to it. Now, don't let that simple explanation fool you. Growing attached to something is more personal then it sounds."

She took a look at Hestia here, and I could feel my little goddess nod, giving her the ok. Athena nodded back, and kept going. "Now, you all know Hestia's aspects. She is the embodiment of the aspects of family, of the hearth, of HOME. Orario has not only provided her with a family she CLEARLY loves, but it is where she calls HOME. It is where she found all of YOU. Forcibly separating her from Orario would be tantamount to breaking the wings of a bird. The pain of that act would cause her great distress."

She stopped there, and we all took it in. Shizuka and I blinked, and both held Hestia tighter, an act she reciprocated. Bell and the hounds had paled at the news, and immediately grew angry afterwards, while Saya frowned something fierce. I couldn't stop the low growl that made its way out of my throat, and I could feel my tail want to lash out. "You realize that just makes me want to send em to hell even more now, right?"

Athena smiled, more of a smirk really, and I saw how vindictive she looked. "I would not be opposed to you doing just that. Despite the unfortunately justifiable reason, and most of the damages having been repaired by Hestia, the decision to banish you is utterly outrageous... But, not one without loopholes." We blinked, and after a hum from Saya, she seemed to get it.

"Who did they define as 'pack?'" At that, Athena's smirk grew, and she gave Saya a satisfied nod.

"Maccillian, you and your sister mates, and that was it." It took me a second, but with my sky high Arcane/INT, I saw where this was going.

But despite that, I paused. And it wasn't just me. We all turned to Bell, Lili and the hounds, and looked at them. They all, even Houndoom's smartass, knew what Athena was talking about. Surprisingly, the first to respond was Lili. My daughter practically leapt off the couch, and stood by our side. "Lili is going with everyone!" Not a shred of doubt in there.

I smiled at that, and freed up an hand to ruffle her hair. The happy smile, and tail wagging, was worth it.

Adorable daughter aside, I turned to Bell, and saw the indecision in his eyes. I could get why he was conflicted about this. On the one hand, he had his dream to be a hero while on the other hand, were the people that made his dream possible. It was a tough decision really.

But also one with some easy answers. But first. "Bell." He looked at me, and I knew the rest of the room was top. "Do you want to be a hero?" Without missing a beat, he nodded. "Then how about this. Become a hero. Conquer the dungeon. Rub in the faces of all those gods and goddesses that want us out. Then, when we come back, we'll bring you along and world hop spreading the legend of the rabbit wolf." He cringed at the nickname, but got the point. Though, I wasn't done. I looked to the hounds, and met their eyes. "That goes for you all too. Reach the top, and shit on, metaphorically mind you, everyone else."

The hounds gave me a nod at that, and I could tell they were taking my words as gospel. Then there was Bell. His eyes shone with determination, he stood up straight, and fucking saluted me. "I WILL SIR!" I snorted at that, and the rest of the room either smiled or giggled. Though, he blinked for a second, then looked confused. "But how?"

Humming, I turned to Athena, since this felt like something she'd have a definite answer for. "If we leave the realm, he loses his link to Hestia, right?"

Athena thought about it for a second, then nodded. "Without Hestia in the realm, he SHOULD lose that connection, yes." That was all I needed to know.

Turning back to Bell, I grinned. "When that happens, you can go join Artemis. Give her a familia... And maybe a family, too." He nodded an understanding, but froze when he understood what that second part meant. He blushed at it, and my grin grew even more.

Though, it was after saying that, Hestia reacted. "W-Wait... We're leaving... As in... Leaving, leaving?" She got herself under control, and wasn't sniffling anymore. The interest in her eyes grew, barreling passed the sadness like a bullet train.

I gave her a nod, and was about to respond, but Saya cut me off. "It's the most logical choice. We're not wanted here, we're ready to go at any time, and there's nothing keeping us here anymore." She sent a subtle glance with Athena, and after the fastest silent eye conversation I've ever seen, looked back to Hestia. "Besides, nothing says 'We're going' like going to another universe." She had a point.

Hestia, and Athena, looked interested at that, while Lili was practically bouncing in place.

The fact we were going seemed to change the atmosphere in the room. The sad shit was gone, and everyone was energized.

Anyway, after Bell was Trix, who stood with him, and draped an arm over his shoulder. "Anywaaay! I'll make sure my mate doesn't mess up, Alpha! That, or gets distracted by another pretty woman." Bell groaned at that, and we laughed at his expense.

After that was Mari. She looked at me and Shizuka, and gave us a full smile. "My Alpha and lady. You've given us more then we ever knew possible, or deserved. For that, I, and without a doubt, all of us, will be eternally grateful. We'll ensure we live up to your expectations." Shizuka squealed at that, and after separating from me and Hestia, she went over to hug Mari. A hug said hound reciprocated.

"Aww, I'm gonna miss you Mariii. But I know you'll be a good girl for everyone else." Hearing Shizuka call her a 'good girl' was far more amusing then I thought it would be.

And I wasn't the only one that thought that. We all heard the snickering from Houndoom, who had shifted back at some point, and was looking at the scene. "And so the mighty bitch has become docile!" Mari growled at him, but he just laughed it off and turned to me. "Neither of us are the sappy types, so I'll go ahead and skip that. I'll make sure the fuckers who made Den Mother hurt and cry get theirs." That was good enough.

I gave Houndoom a nod, and turned to Athena and Saya. The two of them had been looking at the scene, without really saying much. When they noticed I was looking at them, Saya just shrugged, while Athena gave me a nod. (Uh huh... Anyway.) I cleared my throat, and got everyone's attention. "Since we're leaving today, we should probably go say our goodbyes." I got a round of nods for that, and Saya stood up.

"We meeting back here, or somewhere else?" That was a good question.

I hummed, and after a bit of thinking, made my decision. "Let's meet up where we came out when we got here." Saya, and Shizuka, gave me nods for that. "Alright. But first."

[Invite Saya Takagi.] - [Invite Shizuka Marikawa.] - [Invite Saeko Busujima.] - [Invite Rika Minami.]

Without missing a beat, all the girls joined. ~Yo. We're leaving, aren't we?~

~By decree of Zaka, yup. We're meeting up at our starting point for this world, after we say our goodbyes.~

~Ah. How unfortunate. I DID like this world while it lasted.~ There was a round of hums at that, and I saw Shizuka and Saya physically nod. ~Oh well. After I say goodbye to the orphans, as well as lord Takemikazuchi, I will head to our destination.~

~I'll break it to Loki and the rest of em, I'll see ya after.~

~Oh! I'll be heading over to say bye to my Ais.~ Rika sent a hum at that, acknowledging what Shizuka said.

[I'll drop by Soma's, and probably Welf's. Maybe Eina too... Fuck it, I'll go say bye to Loki too.] Shizuka gave me a happy squeal at that, and materialized in front of me, giving me one of her bone breaking hugs.

"Let's gooo! To my daughter but not not daughter!" Saya snorted at that, and Lili hummed. She knew how Shizuka viewed Ais, and didn't mind it. Even she had to admit it, Ais was almost like half of Shizuka. The airheaded half, while Haruhime was the other half.

After Shizuka was content, and freed me from her hug, we grouped up, me Shizuka, Hestia and Lili as one group.

Saya and Athena as another.

And Bell, with the hounds, as the other.

We all nodded at each other, and left the church.

{Saeko's POV same time}

After the party chat went quiet, I focused in on my room. After hearing the news of Hestia familia's, and our pack's subsequent banishment, I had returned to my room to think and speak with my lord and sister mates. But now, with our plan set, it was time to say goodbye.

So, standing up, I dusted off my skirt, and walked towards the door.

As I opened it, I took a moment to register who was on the other side, and give him a nod. "Hello Lord Takemikazuchi."

My chosen god met my nod, and returned it with his own. "So, Busujima-dono. You are leaving, aren't you?" It was no surprise to me that he came to that conclusion.

"Yes. We will be leaving the realm in an hour at the least." He didn't seem surprised at that, almost as if he was expecting it... Hmm... "Did you expect this?" He was right in front of me, so of course I could just ask him.

My god gave me a nod, and I hummed. "Walk with me for a moment, Busujima-dono." My tail slowly wagged at that, and I decided to do so. The two of us began walking, and I took my time to take in the orphanage.

Due to me donating my earnings, which totaled into quite the sum, the orphanage had expanded. It now had a second floor, where the majority of the classrooms were, while the first floor was where the common rooms, and individual rooms were. The walls and floors were polished stone, without a crack in sight. But speaking of the walls, most of the first floor walls were covered in children's drawings, little hand prints, and even the odd hand turkey. (It was interesting to know those existed here.) It was, but that was all.

"You have not been one of my children for long." I looked at him, saw he was more focused on walking, and decided to just listen. "But for the time you have stayed with us, you, and the rest of your pack, have brightened up not only the lives of my familia, but also the lives of the children we care for." As he said that, a pair of children emerged from one of the side rooms, followed by a panicking Chigusa. It seemed she was trying to herd them back into the room, to no avail.

However, when the little ones noticed me, they stopped running from Chigusa, and came towards me and my god. "SISTER SAE!" The little ones crashed into my legs, and I couldn't help but smile at them.

Reaching down, I held the both of them in my arms, and brought them up. "Well hello pups. And just what are you two doing with Chigusa?" The little ones started giggling as said woman put her face in her hands, and whined.

One of the girls, since they were both girls, giggled, and reached for my ear. "We're playing tag with Chi-Chan! But Chi-Chan is slow. Like. Reaaallyyyy slow!" Another whine from Chigusa, and the other girl in my arms snickered.

"Chi-Chan's slow! Chi-Chan's slow!" Both girls begun chanting that, and I made sure to take in the embarrassment absolutely radiating from Chigusa. My god and I shared a chuckle, and I set the girls down.

They both whined at that, but only for a moment, since they now had an embarrassed Chigusa chasing after them. "G-Get back he-here!" Another chuckle, and we watched them go.

With them gone, my god started to walk again. Naturally, I walked with him. "Where did I leave off again?"

"Elevating the children's, and familia's lives."

He gave me an 'ah,' and nodded. "Yes. For that, I, and without a doubt, everyone else, am eternally grateful." I hummed at that, but he wasn't done. "You have also been a wonderful student. And in light of that, I believe you deserve some praise. Not only for your dedication and strides in improving your skills, but of your tempering of your other tendencies." Hmm? My god must've recognized my interest, and went on. "Being able to temper your desire to inflict pain, to relish in the suffering of your opponent, is a praiseworthy achievement. It could be all too easy to give in to that desire, to lose ones' self in it." We stopped in front of his room, and he turned to me. "But you did not. You've turned your desire to inflict pain, into another weapon capable of being sheathed and unsheathed at will."

That was an apt description. One that was completely true. My sadism was a core part of who I was. A vice that I relished.

But, with guidance, and time, taming and reigning it in proved possible. Despite being immortal, no matter how 'minor' it was, I did not want to let a vice control me. A small part of me feared that I would one day lose myself to the pleasure of rending flesh. The joy of hearing a person or creature scream in agony as I tore them apart piece by piece with or without my semblance active. That in my revelry for causing pain, I would make a mistake that may claim my life.

That was unacceptable to me. So, with a goal in mind, I trained to make my vice bend to my will.

And I did. It was still there, but like my god put it, I could settle into my sadistic nature when I chose to do so. It was a substantial step in removing an exploitable flaw in my character. (Not that my sadism is a flaw. I will continue to say it is not. Losing myself to it was a flaw I needed to remove.) Which was also true. That aside, I gave my god a smile, and bowed. "Your assistance in that endeavor will always have my gratitude."

I felt his hand on my shoulder, and looked up to meet his gaze. He wore that kindly smile that he always had. "Think nothing of it Busujima-dono. As your god, it is my duty to help my children improve themselves." That was not entirely true.

Not all gods were required, or even cared enough, to interact with their children passed providing a Falna. So no, he was not REQUIRED to help me, he CHOSE to do so. And for that, he would always have my respect. "Thank you, Takemikazuch-dono." He gave me a nod, and after turning back to his room, proceeded to open the door and enter his room.

I stayed outside, since he hadn't beckoned me to enter, and watched as he walked towards his desk. I watched him open a drawer, and take out a small necklace. I blinked as I saw it, and waited as he came back. My god motioned for me to lower my head, and I did so. After he was done, and I made sure my hair wouldn't get caught in it, I looked at the necklace. It was a miniature version of our familia emblem, excluding the branching lines from the sides. Looking back up to my god, his smile turned gentle. Vulnerable. "You have not been one of my children for long. But for the time I, and the rest of us have had you, you've claimed a place in our lives. Busujima Saeko, you honored me by choosing me as your god. Now, I honor you by bestowing you the symbol of our familia. May it stay with you wherever you may go."

My eyes widened at that, and I felt not only pride, but understanding flow through me. I knew why he had done this, and for this one gesture, I solidified the image of my teacher, of my sensei, in my mind. I brought my hands up, placed a fist against my palm, then bowed again. "Your student will never be without it, sensei!" I heard a chuckle come from my god, and felt him place both hands on my shoulders.

"Then go my student." I looked up, and smiled at him.

"Yes, sensei." After removing his hands from my shoulders, my sensei smiled, and waved at me.

I turned away, and was prepared to take a step forward, when I heard him go 'ah' and pause. "Be sure to say your goodbyes to the rest of the familia, and the children." Ah... Ah indeed.

I chuckled at our oversight, and nodded. "I shall, sensei. I shall." And off to the others I went.

{Shizuka's POV}

As soon as we were out, Silver grabbed Hestia and Lili, then sat them on his shoulders. Neither of them reacted all that much, since Silver liked doing that, and they both enjoyed being super tall. "Alright. First stop... Loki or Take?" Ah... That was a good question.

We looked to Hestia, since she deserved to choose who we went to first, and waited on her answer. We could all tell she was still sad, but she was trying to put on a happy face. "Can we... Can we go see Hephaestus first?"

(Oh yeah... She gave her the church... I need to give that woman a hug... Maybe a big one.) The church might've been a littleee strange to get used too at first, but when I did, I loved it. It was nice and homey, and that was all we needed.

Silver hummed, and nodded. "Yeah. You know where she is?" Hestia gave a small nod, and pointed the way.

And so we started walking.

Though, a little into it, Silver looked over to our goddess, and got her attention. "Hestia..." That surprised her, and she looked at him. Lili and I did too, but we didn't interrupt. He was serious... And we could just chime in whenever either of them left an opening. "You don't HAVE to be strong. You don't HAVE to act happy. Crying is fine."

That brought a smile to my lips. It was hard to hide something from Silver, especially if it was one of us. So Hestia hiding her sadness wasn't going to work.

Hestia flinched, and we watched as she tried to look away. 'Tried' was the word here. "Hestia. Look at me." She flinched again, but looked at him. I idly noticed Lili had gone invisible, which was funny since I could feel she was still on Silver's shoulder. I understood why she did it, and I decided to give her some of the good pats later. "Talk to me. Hell, you can talk to the air. The important thing is that you talk about it."

My goddess and lover stared at each other for a few seconds, and broke it off when she looked up to the sky. We all watched as she closed her eyes, and just breathed out. "It's just... It's so... It's just so UNFAIR!" The people on the street looked our way, but none of us paid them any mind. We were going to leave soon, so they didn't matter anyway. "Who are they to tell us we can't be here?! Who are they to tell us we're exiled?! WHO ARE THEY TO TELL US TO LEAVE OUR HOME?!" Her fire flared, and she started radiating power.

(Ah... She went right to anger... Angry Hestia... Huh, that's kind of hot.) I blinked for a moment, and registered the pun. (I need to hug Yang later. She's fun.) That aside, I tuned back into the conversation.

Hestia burned with righteous anger, but stopped at Silver's next words. "Want me to put em in the ground before we go? I can and will do it if you tell me to. Just say the word mo bhandia." Her fire practically disappeared, and she snapped towards Silver.

"NO! No massacring those gods OR their familias!" Silver just sighed, and mumbled 'They live another day... For now.' Hestia bopped Silver for that. "No, 'for now!' Maccilliaaan!" Silver laughed, and it seemed to make Hestia feel better.

The rest of the trip to Hephaestus' was nice, but nothing else happened.

Though, that was fine. Nothing needed to happen.

{10 minutes later}

When we reached the Hephaestus estate, we were welcomed in without having to say much. When we were, I got to take a look at the area. with all the shrubs and flowers, a nice pair of fountains, I couldn't help but say it was pretty. It even had a nice smell to it too.

But the pretty place aside, we walked up to the front doors, Silver had put Hestia down, and the moment we were there, they opened. (The metal lady!) Hephaestus was there, and as soon as she saw Hestia, she hugged her.

"I'm so so sorry Hestia." That was all she said, but she didn't need to say anything else. We could all tell just how much she meant that.

Our goddess hugged her back, and the two just stayed like that for a bit. (She really cares about her... That's it. She's getting a big hug!) With that decided, I walked over to them, and opened my arms. "Group hug!" Wrapping my arms around the both of them, I squished Hestia between us, and giggled as she started squirming.

"HFPHHH! MIQAAALLLIAN!" I heard a snort from Silver's direction, and turned to see him reach out to me. I didn't want to let go though! So I pouted at him, and hugged the goddesses tighter. "CRRRRKIN! SNNTHINNG CRRRKED!" I ignored that.

He gave me a raised brow, and instead of trying to pry me away from the goddess, he reached up to my ears and started scratching them. (N-No... My one and true weakness! Nooooooo!) I melted, and started letting go. The scratches made everything feel nice, and after attaching myself to Silver, I zoned out and let him do whatever he wanted, so long he kept the scratches coming.

I didn't hear the sighs of relief, or the snickering from my daughter. I just melted into Silver's touch, and relaxed.

{Maccillian's POV}

Having neutralized Shizuka, (Isn't THAT a fucking thought.) Having her docile, I turned towards the goddesses, who were both groaning and rubbing their sides. "You're good now, she can't hurt you anymore." Lili snorted, but the goddesses gave me nods of thanks.

After that, Hestia turned back to Hephaestus, and gave her a shaky grin. "So... Uhhh... I know this isn't a permanent goodbye or anything, but I just have to say this." She took a deep breath, then did the most perfect ninety degree bow I've ever seen. "Thank you so much for giving me the church! Thank you for putting up with me for so long! And thank you for being my friend, Hephaestus! Just... Thank you for everything!" I stopped scratching Shizuka's ears, and just looked at my little goddess.

I wasn't the only one, since Lili, Shizuka now that I stopped scratching, and Hephaestus, all looked at her. And after a second, the goddess of the forge put a hand on Hestia's shoulder, making her look up, and met her with a smile. "You don't have to thank me for being your friend Hestia. Hell, you don't have to thank me for any of that. We're friends." Hestia sniffed at that, and hugged Hephaestus again.

The two of them held the hug for a bit, and I went back to scratching Shizuka's ears before she had any ideas of crushing the both of them again.

The two of them hugged for another minute, and broke it off when they were ready. As they did, Hestia came back over to our side. That made Hephaestus turn to us, more specifically me, and nod. "Please. Take good care of her."

I grinned at that. "She's one of mine, she'll get only the best." The goddess of the forge gave me a smile for that, and even bowed. I was about to say something else, but blinked instead. "By the way, Welf here?"

Hephaestus got up, and shook her head. "He's in his workshop. Do you have something for him?" I hummed at that, and let my aura flash.

Outside of Bell, who already had stuff made from me and Saya, I'd never really given Welf anything. So, since we were leaving and all that, I decided to give him something.

Everyone watched as my aura took form, and turned intoooo. "... An anvil?" Yes!

I dropped the thing by Hephaestus' side, and nodded at my work. "Light as a feather, and should never break... Don't quote me on that though. It should also let aura seep into whatever he hammers on it, but again, don't quote me on that." Now, he didn't NEED it, since his Werewolf strength let him carry shit like his old anvil without much issue, but it was the thought that counted.

She gave me a look at that, and reached out to the anvil. After grabbing, and pumping it in the air for a few seconds, she set it back down, and nodded. "He'll enjoy it." That was enough.

I gave her another nod, and turned around. Hestia, and Shizuka, turned with me, and we started leaving.

Though, when we got back to the gate, Hestia turned back around, and started waving at Hephaestus. "I'LL VISIT! I DON'T KNOW HOW YET, BUT I WILL!" With my hearing, I could hear the light laugh from Hephaestus.

"I'll look forward to it Hestia!" My little goddess smiled brightly at that, and turned back to us.

"Ok... I'm ready to go to Loki's." We nodded, then left Hephaestus' estate. It was time to head to Loki's.

{Saya's POV}

After giving Cinder my goodbye, and sending her off to the church where the rest of them hounds were going to go, Athena and I went to Miach's shop. And that went well. (That went by way better then I expected.) After a hug from Nazza, and a free gift from Miach, Athena and I walked out of his shop, and went towards the gates of Orario. "By the way, are you sure about this, Lady Athena?"

My goddess hummed for a moment, then nodded. "Of course I am Saya. Do you want me to go over my reasons? Again?" I shook my head at that.

It made sense, it really did. I was just asking again to be sure. "Nope. I heard them loud and clear the first time Lady Athena... But, since it's just us... How're you doing? You didn't bring it up, and no one asked, but how are you doing? You lost the library... And with what you said about attachment..."

Athena smiled at me, but didn't look that hurt. "While losing the library was a blow to me, in a sense, I never truly lost it." Huh? She must've seen the confusion on my face, and elaborated. "Let's use your ability, archive, as an example for this. After you read or document something, you do not lose it. It is always with you, correct?" I nodded, because yes, she was right. Though I didn...- Ah. She must've seen the realization on my face, since she smiled, and raised one of her hands. "As the Goddess of Wisdom, my Arcanium naturally ties into my aspect." She started to glow the colors of the rainbow, and a book materialized in her hand. I recognized the title, and blinked at the ramifications of that. "Anything I've read, studied, or documented, is added to my 'library.' When it is, I can bring forth a copy of said book or document." The book dissipated, and she gave me a smile. "So you see, Saya. I am NEVER without my library."

I had to take a few seconds to process that, and I won't lie, I felt a little envious at that... Then I paused. "If our abilities are so similar, how come I don't share one of your aspects?"

She hummed some more, and thought about it. "I'm not completely sure, but I believe it is because of our desires." I blinked, but she went on. "My desire is to catalog as much knowledge as possible. To have the worlds... Hmm... Correction. The UNIVERSE'S largest and most comprehensive library. I wish to learn, and catalog it all. THAT is my desire for knowledge. Yours however, is different. You desire to learn it all, to use any and all knowledge to not only better yourself, but to create far more with the total, then the sum of their parts. That is where our desires differ. I wish to collect it all, while you yearn to learn and improve it all. They may not be so different, but it is that small difference in desire that kept you from sharing my aspect. It's incredibly small, but that's all it takes. That is why a child sharing our aspects is so rare, my dear. For to share an aspect, one must truly be aligned with it, in the full sense of the word."

Huh... I never really asked about that, and after hearing her explain it, I'm not sure why. (But, that explains a lot.) I nodded at that, and moved on. "I wonder if that'll work in a modern world."

Athena grinned at that, and I saw her eyes light up. "I also wonder where we will go first. Oh, all the things we can learn. All the new knowledge we can consume. Oh just imagine it my dear!" Oh no... Athena turned to me, and I could see the blush tinting her cheeks. "My dear, remind me, what was the internet?" Ah fuck...

(Dammit. Why are all the hot women crazy?) When she got like this, there was almost no stopping her. The first time Zaka saw it, he whispered 'Holy shit, she's like Jibril.' And I STILL had no idea who the fuck that was. But if she was anything like Athena when she got 'A knowledge boner.' Then I hoped to never meet her. (Unless she's hot. I'll accept eye candy in exchange for putting up with a crazy woman.) I was shaken out of my thoughts, literally, as Athena started shaking me.

"Saya? My dear?" I knew she remembered what the internet was, and was mostly doing this because she wanted me to explain it again.

So, I mentally sighed, and deflected in the only way I knew that would stop her. I grinned at her, brought my hands to her waist, and brought my lips to her ear. "You're being so rough with me. Right here? In the open? My, you're awfully adventurous my lady." Athena froze, and practically recoiled like a cat. Her cheeks were burning, and she refused to look at me. (Thank fuck she's still a blushing schoolgirl. The day she gets a resistance to my teasing is the day we get milked for all the knowledge we know.) Not that I would've minded being milked by Athena, but my horny thoughts could be set aside for now.

Now, it was time to keep heading out of the city.

{Rika's POV 5 minutes later}

"Rimiiiiiiii... Don't goooooo!" I rolled my eyes at Loki, and pried the shortie off my leg.

"We literally did this song and dance ten minutes ago. The fuck are you doing it again for?" I wasn't lying about that. The first time I told Loki I was leaving, she launched herself at me, and tried to glue herself to my leg. It didn't work mind you, and I pried her off that time, and now I was doing it again.

"Cause ion want ya to leaveee!" I got her off, and dangled her in front of me like a cat.

"And why don't you want me to leave again? It the same reason you said the first time?"

She had the nerve to nod, and look at me like it was so simple. "Yeah. If you go, who am I supposed to go too when I wanna grope a nice ass or tit?" She even reached out to grip one of my tits as she said that, and gave it a squeeze. "Hah... Imma miss these things."

I snorted at that, but didn't stop her. "Sure. Miss the tits, but not the bitch they're attached too. I see how it is Loki." She gave me tit another squeeze at that, and sighed a second later.

As she did, I felt her get serious, and open her eyes. "But fer real... Imma miss you Rika. You've been great to have around, and just a fun gal in general... Sure your sexy as shit n let my antics slide, but you're honestly one of my favorite friends."

I blinked at that, and thought about it. (I think that's the first time she's called me her friend... Huh. Fancy that.) I was about to say something to that, but then she squeezed my tit again, and I deadpanned at her. "Aaand you ruined it." She gave me a cheeky grin, and I rolled my eyes. "Anyway, I gotta finish up saying bye. Sooo... Want a ride up front?"

Her eyes widened, and she practically clamped onto my front after I said that. She was like a child, just a titty and ass obsessed... (Nevermind.) Shaking that thought off, I made sure Loki wouldn't fall off, and nodded when I was sure she wouldn't. "Alright. Time to be sappy." I walked out of the room, we were in Loki's office, and came face to face with everyone else. I say everyone, but it was Bete, Riveria, Ais, Aisha, and Haruhime. The latter two had joined Loki after Silver styled on Ishtar's people, and they usually stayed here.

That aside, the group took a second to recognize Loki being her usual self, then moved on. "So, you're leaving sister." Wasn't a question. I was pretty sure they all knew, either by hearing it through the door, or figuring it out on their own.

I nodded at Aisha, and she sighed. "Don't worry about it sis. We'll come visit some time." That just made her sigh again.

"Yeah yeah..." She walked up to me, and held her arm out. I grinned, and linked it with my own. We would've hugged, but ya know... Loki was att...- I blinked at that, and mentally shrugged. I broke off the link, which confused her for a second, but then I brought her in for a hug. There was an 'ack!' From Loki, but she was enjoying this, so she wasn't gonna complain. "I guess this works." We held the hug for a few seconds, then broke it off.

When we did, Loki slid off me, and landed on the floor, dazed. "I've felt the gates of Tenkai, and they were wonderful..." Aisha and I shared a look, then snorted.

"Anyway. Stay strong sister, and keep your word. If you don't, I'll have to track you down myself. Got it?"

I grinned, and nodded again. "You got it sis. Cross my heart, hope to die and all that jazz." Aisha smiled at me, and backed off to stand by Haruhime's side.

Said fox girl, I knew she was called a Renard, I just preferred fox girl. Anyway, said fox girl looked at me, and gave me a Shizuka-esque smile. "I have not spent that much time with you, but for all you've done for me and for Aisha, you will have my eternal gratitude." She bowed here, and I accepted it.

"You're welcome Haru. Hell, I'd do it all again in a heartbeat." The way her tail wagged was cute.

After she straightened up. it was Riveria's turn to talk. "You may not have been with us long, but you have done our familia proud. I, alongside many others, will miss you." Aww! She even did a little smile at the end of that.

"I'll miss you too Riv. I'll make sure to come surprise you whenever we come back." She nodded at that, and reached down to grab Loki. Said goddess didn't respond, too happy about being the cream to a sexy Amazon/Werewolf oreo.

That done, the last one up was Bete. The guy hadn't said anything the whole time, and was basically brooding. I saw that, and grinned. "Aww, the knockoff not so happy we're going?"

Bete scowled at me, and turned away. "Fuck off! Just hurry up and leave you bitch!" I, and Aisha, hummed at that. He scowled even deeper here, but after a few more seconds of us humming, he forced a sigh out of his mouth. "You better come back..." That said, he stomped away, leaving us to watch him go.

I blinked for a few seconds, and just nodded. "Cute. Also probably the nicest thing I'll get from him." Aisha snorted.

"Eh. Probably. Anyway, where's Black at? Shouldn't he be with you?" Ah...

"Yeah... He's kinda sulking on the roof. Big guy didn't take the news that well." They all nodded at that. Despite being a big ol lug, Black was kind and kinda emotional around people he trusted. "Speaking of people that aren't here, where are twins?" I expected them to be here. They were pretty much cousins to me now, so them NOT being here kinda made me sad.

Riveria noticed that, and nodded. "Tiona and Tione are waiting by the front doors to and I quote, 'ambush' you." I felt my lips quiver, and I almost laughed at that. That sounded like something Tiona came up with, and dragged her sister in helping.

"Well, I can't keep em waiting, now can I?" The girls smiled, and so we started marching.

As we walked the halls, I thought about my time here. All the shit me and the twins got into, all the times I annoyed Bete, the days I'd wake up with Loki clinging to me and groping me... (It says something about me that I'm gonna miss the little perv.) I was, but we weren't leaving forever.

The girls and I made it to the front, just in time to see my favorite twins jump from behind a pair of columns. Tiona made it to me first, and crashed into me with the force of a rocket. "I've got you now! Now you CAN'T leave!" She even started crushing me with a hug, well, she tried too. My stats, and aura kept me safe.

I returned the 'hug' and that only made her hug me tighter. "Aww, the Crusher, how the might have fallen." She grumbled, and tried to get me to react, but all she got was a laugh out of me. "I'll miss you too Tiona."

"And me?" I snorted, and looked over to Tione. She was looking at me and her sister, with a smile on her face.

"Come on, bring er in Tione." Her smile grew, and she came over to do just that. Unlike last time with Loki, Tiona wasn't squished between us, and it was a proper hug.

"We really will miss you, you know that Rika?" I did.

"Yeah... I'll b...-"

[Sealgair, we're outside.] Oh...

I broke off the hug, which confused my cousins. "Silver's outside. He's got Shizuka and Hestia with em too." They understood it now.

"I shall go welcome them then." Riveria, who was still holding Loki, went over to the doors.

When she got there, and opened them, we all saw Silver, with our kid on his back, and the girls on his sides. "Yo. We've...- What's wrong with her?" He was talking bout Loki, who was still mostly out of it.

Riveria just sighed. "Ignore her delirium. Anyway, welcome. As you can see, Rika is over there, while Ais is in her room." She brought up Ais since we all knew how much Shizuka liked her.

Said nurse gave Riveria a nod, then bolted. "My little sprite! I'm here!" We all watched her go, and shrugged as we turned back to Silver. He basically had a 'whatever' look on his face, and looked down to Hestia.

"Alright Mo bhandia. It's your move." The short stack nodded, and looked at Loki.

My goddess collected herself, and met her friends gaze. She looked a little nervous, but pushed through. "You know, I never thought we'd ever be REAL friends. We fought a lot, had a whole rivalry going, the good stuff. But... Even with all that, I'm happy that I can think of and actually call you my friend." It was short, but said all she needed.

Loki stood up, and after looking at Hestia, she hugged her. Hestia hugged her back, and it was a nice scene. "For an Oppai Loli, you're alright Hestia." Aaand, she ruined it again.

Silver looked over to me, brow raised, and I shrugged. ~Don't look at me.~

~Are we missing something?~

[Nah, you're good mo lann.]

~Very well. By the way, I have finished saying my goodbyes, and am heading towards our meeting point.~

~Me too. Fun fact, Miach is very generous with his alchemical kits and recipes.~

[Cool. I don't remember asking though.] I, and Saeko, snorted.

~Sometimes I question why I love you.~

[Aww! I love you too ceann beag.] We all heard the huff Saya sent over, and I could see Silver grin.

I was about to say something, but we all heard something crash upstairs, and turned towards the sound. ~Uhhh... Shizuka? was that you?~

~... No...~ Silver and I shared a look, and shrugged. She sounded so guilty, that we could all tell she was lying. We had no idea what happened, but that was fine. It'd be Loki's problem.

Speaking of Loki, she was looking between me and Silver, clearly knowing we were having a conversation in party chat. I gave her a shrug, and she didn't say anything about it.

Though, I was curious about what happened.

{Shizuka's POV as she bolted}

Loki's mansion was always fun to run in, and this time, Riveria didn't say anything about it! So that was nice.

Anyway, I ran to my sprite's room, I knew where it was of course, and as soon as I got there, I barged in. "My spriteee!" Ais looked at me, and just blinked a few times to realize that yes, I might've broken her door. Though, I didn't give her anymore time, and ran over to her and captured her in a hug. "I'm gonna miss yooou!" I rubbed my cheeks against hers, like a cat! But I was a Werewolf, so it was like a very cat like Werewolf action.

After a few seconds, she returned the hug. "And I you Shizuka." That was all she said, but it was ok. We didn't NEED to talk, hugs and cuddles were worth their weight in gold. Gold I tell you!

Though, it was while we were hugging, that her door fell off of its hinges, and crashed to the ground... Ais and I looked at it, and I saw the 'You did this' clearly in her eyes. "I'm sorry!"

~Uhhh... Shizuka? was that you?~ Rika chose the worst time to say something...

~... No...~ I hope they bought that.

"It... It's fine Shizuka. I needed a new one anyway." I looked at Ais, and I could tell she was lying.

... But the thought was what counted. So I hugged her closer for trying. "You're the best my sprite!" She ate up my hug, and so we sat there for a bit. It was nice.

After a few minutes, I heard Silver call out to me. "Mo grá! Time to go!" I pouted at that.

"But I want some more cuddles with my sprite!" Ais hummed, and I rubbed my cheeks against hers some more.

From here, I heard someone snort, and Silver spoke again. "If you come down now, I'll agree to the once a week proposal!" I froze.

That was too good of an opportunity to pass up. "Kay!" I let go of my sprite, and looked at her. I was a little sad that we had to go so soon, but we could always come back, so it wasn't for forever. "I'll see you again my little sprite."

Ais gave me a smile at that, and after taking in our hug for another second, we broke it off. "Goodbye Shizuka. I'll look forward to the next time we meet." That made me me happy, so after giving Ais' head a kiss, and taking a moment to see her blink in confusion, I left.

"Coming! And I call first dibs on the dresses!" There was groan, that I knew came from Silver, and some laughs that came from Rika and Lili. I was going to have so much fun dressing Silver up!

{Maccillian's POV}

Did I know I was making a mistake? Yep. Was it necessary? Yes. I knew Shizuka. If we left it up to her, she'd cuddle with Ais for hours if no one stopped her. So, I sacrificed myself for the greater good. Though, I didn't really care about being dressed up. Whatever happened, happened.

In moments, Shizuka was here, and stopped in front of us. The smile of joy on her face was worth it. With her here, Rika draped an arm over her shoulder, and turned to her friend from Loki's familia. "Well, this is me. See ya later girls." The twins, Riveria, and Loki waved Rika off, and with that done, we left.

{30 minutes later}

As we all, other then Lili and Hestia, walked out of Orario, the mood was far happier then it was this morning. Lili might've been a little salty after visiting Soma, and stuffing a crate of his wines in her inventory, but she forgave me.

Mainly because of the current topic. One I was maybeee starting to regret agreeing too. See, Shizuka was holding up a light blue dress, similar to the one she wore for the shit show that was Apollo's banquet, and her eyes were sparkling. "What about this one? It's pretty, it's sexy, and it has a really really nice dip!"

I sighed again, and gave in. "Fine. That one works mo grá." She almost jumped at that. Though, the way she started vibrating in joy, was worth it.

Context. When I gained my female form, I was unanimously outvoted on the motion of 'At the very least, using it once a week, and staying a woman for a day.' Now, I didn't really mind that. It was just the fact that Shizuka wanted to dress me up that had me dreading those days. I saw what that corset did to Hestia! Anyway, with that decided, she handed Lili the dress, and our daughter put it in her inventory. "Ya know Silver, this is really all on you. I mean, a woman form? Really?" I rolled my eyes at that.

"Whatever you say Silver. Whatever you say."

How many of you thought about waking up one morning and suddenly having a dick?]" Rika almost tripped, Shizuka blinked and started humming, Hestia was choking, and Lili looked like she was buffering.

Meanwhile in the party, I heard Saeko go 'what?' While Saya sent over confusion. ~Zaka... What the fuck?~

~No it's not! What the fuck are you all talking about where THAT comes up?!~

[Rika was getting on my case about my Vouivre form, and I decided to pull out the UNO reverse card.]

There was silence in the party, while the girls with me had started regaining their faculties. Unsurprisingly, Shizuka came back first. ~"I have."~ The girls looked at her, and she just blinked. ~"As a nurse, I've seen a lot of penises. Why wouldn't I think about having one?"~ I blinked, and I could tell the rest of the girls thought about that.

~... You know... For Shizuka, that is a very logical response.~ Said woman pouted at that, and turned in the direction Saya should be. ~That's not an insult by the way, just an observation.~ She narrowed her eyes, and went 'hmmm' for a bit, before nodding.

~That said, you did not provide an answer Saya. I for one HAVE. So I.~ There was a squawk of outrage in the distance, and we all knew that was Saya.

~"Makes sense... I mean, it's Crazy."~

~Thank you Rika.~

~"... That wasn't a compliment."~

~Again. Thank you Rika.~ She gave up here.

~"Fuck it. And I guess me too. Though, that means jack shit compared to Silver's woman form, so I don't know why we're doing this in the first place."~

~"I'm making a point, deal with it.~" Rika nudged me, then huffed when it did nothing. I gave her a grin, and she folded her arms under her breasts. ~"Anyway, Saeko's right. HAVE you ceann beag?"~

There was silence on the other side, and my passengers seemed to finally return to full function. "Papa... Just... Why?"

Looking up to my daughter, I gave her a grin. "Because why not? Do YOU wanna admit it smols?"

Lili blushed, and looked away at that. "Lili will never admit something like that." Raising my brow, I, and the rest of the girls realized something.

"That's not a no." My daughter pulled a vanishing act, but I could feel her still on my shoulder, so it accomplished nothing. "So far, I'm 4 for 4." Looking up to Hestia, I let my grin grow. "And what about you mo bhandia?"

Hestia burned bright red, and I enjoyed how embarrassed she was. "N-NO! I've NEVER thought about that!" I blinked.

Hell, I think the rest of the girls blinked too. "Never? Never ever ever? Really?" Ok... I didn't know why Shizuka was so invested in this, but I didn't pry.

Hestia was almost emitting steam out of her ears, that's how far she was being pushed. "NEVER!" We all, even Lili came back for this, looked at her in confusion. "STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT! I'M PERFECTLY NORMAL!"

I kept my brow raised for this. "None of us said you weren't... It's just... Weird, is all. " Hestia groaned, and put her head in her hands.

"Why are all of you like this?" I really wanted to shrug, but with her and Lili on my shoulders, I couldn't.

"We just are. Anywaaay." Back to earlier. ~"So, outside of Hestia, what about you ceann beag?"~ Saya had been awfully quiet, and still hadn't given an answer. I think she was using her hearing to listen in, so she could avoid saying it, or just hope we didn't bring it back up.

Unfortunately for her, I did. Hearing a VERY loud groan, she gave her answer. ~"YES, OK?! I'VE HAD THE THOUGHT OF HAVING A COCK AND BALLS AT LEAST ONCE! CAN WE DROP THIS NOW?!"~

I cackled like a madman at her admitting it, and took my victory.

That said, we went back to walking over to the rest of the girls, and I blinked when I noticed who else was here. "Athena?"

Said goddess gave me an embarrassed nod. "Yes... I... I will be joining you all. Is there a problem?"

Looking around, and seeing no one mind, and how happy Hestia looked, I turned back and gave her a nod. "Nope... But uhhh... You don't have your aura awakened, or are part of the silver clan. So you can see the issue here."

She shrugged, and gave Saya a look. She didn't need words, and we watched Saya put her fingers on Athena's head.

"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality.

Through this we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all, infinite in distance and unbound by death.

I release your soul and by my shoulder protect thee."

And a golden light radiated across the lands. Thankfully, I closed my eyes since I knew it was coming.

When the light faded, I opened my eyes, and saw Athena nod. "Thank you my dear. Now." Turning to me, I got the message.

So, after putting Hestia and Lili down, I walked over to Athena, and put my hand on her shoulder as I channeled aura to my Sword of Damocles. When it was ready, I did the thing. "Blah blah blah, power!" And she was coated in silver light.

That done, I took my hand off, and nodded. Though, the rest of the girls gave me a LOOK, and I looked back. "What?"

Saya looked like she was going to open her mouth, but she paused, and shook her head. "Fuck it, I'm not getting into this." The girls shared a nod, and I shrugged.

"Wh...-" I was cut off by the sound of paws hitting the ground, and turned in the direction of the sounds.

The girls did too, and we all saw the same thing. The hounds, being led by Bell, who had Artemis on his back, while Welf was on Black's, were running towards us. When they were in range, they all shifted back, Bell did after Artemis got off his back, and Black after Welf.

Speaking of Welf. "NOT COOL MACCILLIAN! NOT EVEN A BYE?!" Rolling my eyes at that, I shrugged.

"Eh you would've managed."

Welf's eye twitched, and he started shaking me. "NOT THE POINT!" I just let him shake me for a bit more, and looked at him when he stopped.

"You done?" He huffed, backed away, and gave me an annoyed look. "I'll take that as a yes. Anyway." Looking at my daughter, I nudged her, and she sighed.

"Lili will unfortunately...-"

"OI!"

She deadpanned at him. "As we were saying. Lili will unfortunately miss you. So don't be stupid and die before we come back." We all shared a laugh at the irritation on Welf's face, and the annoyed way his tail was swaying. Then my daughter looked at me, and held her arms out. I got the message, and picked her back up. "Thank you Papa. Anyway, that's all Lili has to say."

Welf huffed, and just looked away. "Whatever."

Next up was Artemis, who had gone over to, and hugged Hestia and Athena. "I'll be sure to take care of the home you've given me, and the people you've left me." Yeah, we were leaving the church to Artemis. And the hounds from Hestia and Athena's familia were going to transfer to hers after we left.

Our goddesses gave her smiles, and when they were ready, broke off the hug to let Artemis go back to the hounds. That done, the rest of us turned to said hounds, and met their gazes. As we did, the hounds all lined up, and bowed. """"""Thank you for everything, Alpha and pack!""""""

And after them was Bell, who copied them. "I PROMISE, I'LL BE THE BEST HERO IN ORARIO'S HISTORY!" I was getting just the tiniest bit annoyed with all the shouting, but it was whatever.

The girls and I shared a look, and they left it to me. "You're all welcome and shit. And you better Bell." They all stood back up, walked back a bit, then turned back and started waving.

I took that as the sign to start, and as I focused on the girls coming with me, I triggered my World Jump.

Like before, time stopped, and the girls that didn't experience this before, looked around. "Curious. I don't feel any magic, nor any other form of power causing this."

I shrugged at Athena. and turned to the girls. I brought it up before, so they knew where we were stopping first, and they didn't object. So, after focusing on the world we were going too, I let my claws grow, and swiped at the air.

The familiar claw marks appeared in front of me, and after reaching out, I grasped the portals, and pulled them open.

As soon as it was open, and I saw the familiar roof, I grinned. "Alright. First stop, Highschool of the Dead."

I heard Saya snort, and as soon as the portal was open, she walked ahead. "Still a stupid fucking name." I didn't say anything, and just shrugged as she walked through.

"Home not so sweet home, here we come!" Shizuka ran in after her.

"Eh... It is what it is." Rika.

Saeko hummed after that, and walked through. "It will be interesting to meet the others after our travels."

With Saeko through, it was just up to the Orario natives. Athena was looking at the portal, and had to be nudged by Hestia to stop. "Hmm? Ah, yes. Well then, here we go." She stepped through, and walked over to Saya's side as she looked at me. "Interesting."

With her through, it was just Hestia and Lili. My daughter scrunched her brows, and took a leap of faith through the portal. Landing right next to the girls, she blinked, then shrugged. "Lili expected her to feel SOMETHING."

I snorted. "That's what she said." Lili choked, and Rika laughed.

"PAPAAA!" Now I laughed.

When I was done, I looked over to Hestia, and saw her look back at Orario. The conflict in her eyes was still there, but before I could say anything, someone beat me too it. "Hestia." Shizuka called out to her, and she looked over. The kind smile on Shizuka's face made her freeze, and she stared at her. "Home is where the heart is." And with that, Hestia unfroze, her eyes cleared, and she smiled.

"Right!" And so she stepped forward.

As soon as she entered HOTD, we all saw her suddenly flinch, and almost fall to the ground. Shizuka was on her in moments, and I flashed through the portal to her side.

She looked like she was in pain, and we all gathered around her. Her aura was flaring, so were her flames. In response, Shizuka flared her own flames, while the rest of us flared our auras. As we did, Hestia looked up at Shizuka, and around at everyone else, and took it in. Then, when her eyes went back to Shizuka, she gave her a shaky smile. "I-I guess I'm home."

I snorted at that, and place a hand on her head. "Welcome home then, mo bhandia." Her smile was a little more fuller, and she nodded.

Seeing the portal close, I felt conflicted. I wanted to go with them. I wanted to stay by my goddess, and everyone's side. Sir, Ms. Shizuka, and Lady Hestia gave me everything, and I wanted to pay them back ten fold.

(But with them gone... Can I do it?) I was worried. This was going to be the first time Sir and everyone else wouldn't be there if I needed them... (That doesn't mean I'm alone.) I blinked at that thought, and looked around.

Trix was next to me and Artemis. She noticed me looking, and gave me a grin.

Hou was looking at where the portal was, with a melancholic smile on his face.

Mari was by Hou's side, looking sad, but also determined.

Cinder had her arms folded, and I could see a fire in her eyes.

Black had his fists clenched, and looked ready to tear through the dungeon.

Then there was Ryoshi. His face was impassive as ever, but his eyes said everything.

And it wasn't just the hounds.

Welf was by them, and despite the smile on his face, he was just as determined as Black.

Last but not least was Artemis. She looked the saddest, and I could understand why. Her best friends just left. But just like now, she wasn't alone. I reached a hand out to her shoulder, and smiled at her when she looked at me. I didn't need to say anything, she understood. Neither of us were alone.

And with the people we that were still with us, we would do what Sir told us. We would rise to the top, make everyone see and realize their mistake of casting out Hestia familia, and be the hero's of Orario.
