Humanity was forced to acknowledge that they were the lowest among the countless civilizations existing in the universe.

For years, they kept fighting an uphill battle against far more advanced intergalactic civilizations in virtually stimulated arenas... with real world consequences. And they kept fighting on, all while depending on the teenage pilots of the giant guardian mechs dubbed Regalia to win their war.

Amidst all that, stood Arnold Tilgen, who had no interest in joining the war, let alone saving humanity. To him, both the enemies and the humans were worthless.

Yet, the cycle of fate pulled him into the chaos, thrusting him into the madness of the virtual war. He was thrown into the fray with a powerful system that forced him to become involved despite his will.

I Became The Strongest In The Multiverse

I clicked my tongue as I saw several guards running towards me. As soon as they were in the range of 25 metres, I activated [Raymond Winchester's Will].

Immediately, three of the guards fell on their faces and stopped moving. Two fell unconscious, and one remained standing... but stunned.

I immediately unloaded a full magazine on the standing guard. The heavy equipment could stop a couple of bullets, but while facing a barrage, it slowly broke down until the armour plate inside his vest was pierced through.

The guard fell to the ground, dead. Even though I had won, it wasn't something to celebrate. The gunfire had attracted other guards, and soon I had to take cover behind a small wall to shield myself from the incoming onslaught.

I wanted to use [Sacrificial Tomb], but doing so right now wouldn't mean anything. I quickly discarded that idea and summoned a couple of grenades and threw them over the wall.
