Arena Twenty-Nine: Salvation IX

"Ugh..."

The pain subsided, but I felt extremely sick.

"You okay?"

Grey asked as he rubbed my back. I frowned and nodded slowly. Roxy, whose eyes had stabilized, brought me a glass of water. I quickly rinsed the insides of my mouth with the cold liquid and stared at the screen. The creatures weren't damaged, my SP had been drained and I had made a fool out of myself... It was all in all a failure.

"Only one of my skills are effective against these creatures."

I said to Abraham and the others once I felt slightly better. I decided not to tell them about [Raymond Winchester's Will] for now. I had yet to try it out on the creatures... But seeing how [Sacrificial Tomb] had failed, I wasn't feeling particularly hopeful.

"This is still better than nothing."

Abraham replied with a slight smile. I shrugged and turned to Grey, who was listening in to our conversation.
